Aside from the long wait in the frigid office while hed go help another patient and not come back for 20-30 minutes, and how I felt like I wasnt really listened to, how they dealt with my insurance was a major issue. I get it. My insurance is a pain. But if something wasnt covered, that was it. I wouldnt hear from them. No call back. No extra time spent on me. Im gonna go ahead and assume that custom ankle brace that was recommend wasnt covered. Because when I called a year after I got my orthotics, I was told their computer wasnt working and theyd call me back. Guess what? No call back. Then the next week, I get a notice that I have a bill over $400. Apparently the orthotics they told me were covered actually werent. So they stuck me with the bill. But hey, they charged me what they wouldve charged my insurance, and only took an extra $50 off when I called. I should be grateful, right? I owed over $300 for a service they told me was covered, for a mistake they made.If a company tells you that youre responsible for their mess up, run. Or more commonly that youre responsible for the insurance you pay for that they want money from, run. Its a sign of poor customer service. Dealing with insurance is their job. Would I recommend Dakota Foot and Ankle? Maybe if you have insurance fairies circling your wallet, you might get some decent service. You might even get called back.

Dr Gale does a great job of listening to concerns and coming up with a plan to fix issues. highly recommended.

This is the place to go with foot problems. We tried some things with our family doctor with no luck, Dr. Gale took care of us in short order. He knows how to make feet feel better! He comes across very confident and answers all your questions and then some. I wish more doctors were like him and willing to discuss and explain things so well.

Dr. Gale is the absolute best doctor I have ever worked with! He explained each and every step he took during my recovery from chronic, severe ingrown toenails. He took great caution, putting me on antibiotics to remove infection prior to performing the permanent removal of the ingrown section of my large toenails.The staff are also kind and attentive in making sure you are comfortable as you wait.Thank you Dr. Gale and staff!

Dakota Foot and Ankle is a very pleasant and relaxing place to be when pain is at an ultimate high when I first walked in the door this year! Dr. Gail is as good with his knife as Zorro was with his sword. His staff that assisted Dr. Zorro (the short nurse and the whisperer) made my entire de-clawing procedure go as marvelous as marvelous could go! Looking forward to my second cutting - well, sort of, anyway!

I searched online for a surgeon to take care of my bunions and hammer toes. I an in my 50s but I am still very active, and my bunions were causing problems when running, cycling, and cross-country skiing. Google reviews and other sources show positive reviews for Dr Gale, so I selected his clinic. Dr. Gale is friendly and he spent a lot of time talking to me and really seemed to understand why I was there and what I expected out of the surgery. I appreciate the time spent talking to me. My surgery went well (both of them) and my recovery is swift. Dr Gale goes the extra distance, and even game me his personal telephone number if I had any problems during the night or on weekends. The followups were equally as personal and professional. Dr Gale remembered my name and the fact that my prime concern is to get back to running and cycling. I can strongly recommend Dr Gale and Dakota Foot and Ankle Clinic.

I recently got a pair of running shoes from Happy Soles. I was fitted to ensure I got the right size and was given information regarding orthotics. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was wonderful. I love my new shoes and have enjoyed running in them!

I am in the healthcare field and on my feet long hours. I started having foot / heel pain but Dr Gale was able to quickly diagnose and treat. His staff is great as well! I was able to get properly fitted at Happy Soles for my dress shoes and tennis shoes. They have a great variety of shoes!

Past experience at the Happy Soles shoe store has brought me back again, this time with my husband. He had always been a full fledged New Balance guy, but I told him of my satisfaction with the Brooks and suggested he try them out. Well today was the day and guess what? Dakota Foot and Ankle is an amazing healthcare facility! The staff are welcoming and sympathetic, and you can tell that Dr. Gale REALLY CARES about his patients. I highly recommend that you go there for any type of foot or ankle problem or sports injury. There is a great shoe store downstairs, too!

My only regret: I should have come to see Dr. Gale YEARS ago. This man and his staff are extremely versed and educated on foot problems! Sure am very happy with Dr. Gale. I know his employees the twins ever since they were small girls & now as big girls Kaitlyn has been working on me for about 6 months now to come see the Doctor, I finally gave in to go see him.Ive been in pain for some time now and after I gave in & filled out all the papers I went to see the Doctor.In three days Im walking with 50% less pain and hopefully in the near future no pain.Thank you ladies for taking me to your Dr. and i will follow through with all his professional advice.I like a Dr that tells you and explains what is wrong and he can be trusted because he looks you directly into your eyes, like Dr Gale.And also, Thank you Karly for showing me the shoe catalog at work the other day.

These people are so good, Dr. Gale is awesome, he has a great sense of humor, his staff is so nice. I could find a foot dr. closer to home, but I dont think so. these people know there stuff. I would recommend them to anyone. no worries with them! giant 👍

I am very impressed with Dr. Gale and all of his staff at Dakota Foot and Ankle Clinic. I was leery about going to a podiatrist; but I am so glad I did! I have followed his recommendations and in under a week my foot was feeling 100% better. Thank you Dr. Gale & staff!!

Very pleasant and relaxed appointment. The entire staff was very nice. Had a small procedure done and Dr Gale was very attentive and made sure I was ok through the entire process. Thank you!! Also i was a patient myself in which my insurance paid for my personal orthodics. Apparently if theres no record of me as a patient he didnt claim any of it and put that money in his pocket

Dr Gale is very professsional and personable, he explained things to me in a way that I could relate and understand, now I know why my foot hurts so bad, between him and his wonderful staff they fixed me up! I have been standing on concrete floors for 10 hours a day for the past 37 years. For the past 5 years I have been experiencing foot, knee, hip, and back pain. I have gone to chiropractors and various doctors to fix the pain....with no luck. About a month ago I stepped into Dakota Foot and Ankle Clinic and am AMAZED at the results. I learned more about feet and how they affect every part of my body in 45 minutes than I had known in a half a century! Wow! I always thought I had pretty little feet. But that day I learned of huge calluses on the pads of my feet that were the culprit of part of my pain. With proper shoes, orthotics, and some amazing lotion, all of my foot, knee, hip, and back pain has virtually disappeared!!! Whats up with that??? A big heartfelt thanks to Dr Gale and his wonderful staff. I have never been so fully informed.
