I was in need of a new upper plate and lower partial and just randomly chose this practice. I was quoted a price for the entire service, which i paid up fromt, except for what my insurance covered.The experience was horrible, taking many visits over a period of about 6 months. They made two sets of dentures for me. The initial set I had an very noticeable lisp when i talked, and could not bite things off. And they hurt. They eventually made some that were fairly comfortable and I do not have a lisp. I still have a problem biting some foods off, and get tender spots at times.A couple time, after so many return visits due to problems i was told They would have to start charging me. I told them I had paid for new dentures that should be comfortable and worked and if they tried to charge me additional funds I would see them in court.I still have problems biting some foods off, I constantly bite the inside of my lower lip, and at times I bite something under my tongue on the right side.I would have given a rating of one start, but the staff was very nice. and professional.

I very rarely, if ever, write a review, but in this case, im proud to say here I am, writing a review.From the second I walked into the Bismarck Advanced Dental and Implants, I was pulled into their kindnesses and care, the professionalism and dedication, in every area. Each step of the process brought a greater respect and a deeper devotion.To date, I think I just may be the worst case and candidate for anything dental, in the history thereof. But they saw it as an opportunity to help me find my smile. Something of which, I never thought could be found. Smirk, yes. , grin, sure, in pictures.Though our journey isnt complete, yet, I am looking forward to the end result.To Dr Derek and your staff, thank you, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. It was a very great experience, and this is coming from someone who is scared to death of dentist. They made you feel comfortable from the start and through the whole process. Olivia is amazing hygienist, she is comforting, caring and made me feel at ease! I will never go anywhere else!

From the moment I walked in to the office, I felt very welcomed and that they were going to do all they could to help my tooth (badly infected). The care I received was spectacular and all my questions were answered promptly and efficiently. Both sides of the office - the front office staff and the back office care practitioners were top-notch. I will definitely return for more dental care in the future.

Dr. Dereck and staff are AWESOME peopleto have help you in your time of need!Everyone explains what they are going to bedoing before hand to make sure your okaywith what’s going on.For Implants I needed top and bottom.Dr. Dereck went through all my options and what would be my best choice for me.That is my mouth and what bone there was and what he could do for me no more or less. Got my front teeth fixed because I had a chip on my front tooth and haven’t been to a dentist in awhile. The doctor fixed the chip on my tooth like it was never there. It made my experience great and made me glad I have a dentist who actually care about their patient. I highly recommend Dr. Chris and his staff you won’t be disappointed.

I had a very bad experience with a different dentist here in Bismarck. Some things were done, that I feel were not necessary and this has caused me a lot of pain and has forever changed my smile, my mouth, my confidence and my trust. HOWEVER, I made an appointment with Dr. Derick Hoerner , he listened intently, he never rushed me, or made me feel uncomfortable. He FIXED the problem, he was professional, yet a great guy to talk with. He cares about your dental health and your emotional well being and how important it is for women to feel confident. His staff is wonderful, from the minute you walk in to his office you are greeted and made to feel welcome by his office staff. His assistants and his hygienist are professional and are not judgmental. They truly care about the patient and go above and beyond making the patient feel at ease. It makes going to the dentist a true comfortable and positive experience. As far as I am concerned truly the ONLY dental Office I will ever go to!! I brought all 4 of our kids here (3 have been patients for several years). This was our youngests first trip to the dentist. I was nervous about it because she was SO excited and I didnt want her to be scared if it didnt go well. Tera took her back and I joined them for support. Let me tell you, I hope my kids ALWAYS get scheduled with her! She was so patient and willing to take her time to explain the tools to my 3 year old! Tera spoke to her, and not to me (unless needed), which made ME relax because our daughter mattered to her. She also had 2 of the older kids but I didnt go back with them. I am glad I went back with our youngest so I could see just how great Tera was with the kids. I wont have to worry again! PS- My youngest was ready to go back that afternoon again!

The interior is beautiful and the staff is helpful and friendly! It is bright, clean, and decorated with a gorgeous Christmas tree which makes it feel so cozy and cheerful! All of my questions were answered and my worries melted away. Social distancing, masks and other safety mandates were exactly as they should be, without feeling too clinical. For the first time in my life, I actually look forward to my next dental appointment 😁

Just had all my top teeth removed and implants put in 5 days ago. The temporary teeth look amazing and Im not in as much pain as I thought I would be. Dr. Derik and his staff are very knowledgeable and good at what they do. I cant thank them enough for giving me my smile and confidence back. Pretty good at what they do and the price was ok but they messed up our address when we gave it to them and apparently didnt get our 2 phone numbers as well and in return blamed us for it after they kicked us off there service list do to not having plenty of ways to get ahold of us. So we were pretty hurt by that. Definitely gunna have to go somewhere with a bit more friendly and reliable staff.

I just got to say. This place has helped me with so much! Not just only on my teeth but my mental health💓 I suffer so bad with anxiety . The first time I came to this place I was so nervous and shaking because I didnt know what to expect soon as the dentist came and the assistant they started talking to me and calming me down and I never felt more relaxed in my life. They made me feel safe and happy and had me laughing and also fixed my broken tooth! that also gave me so much confidence back. :). I love just walking into the building and see all the staff smiling and greeting me! Making me feel like Im here to hangout with friends that fix my teeth lol. Thank you guys. My previous dentist is in Mandan as we used to live in Mandan but moved to Bismarck and I saw an ad for Bismarck Advanced Dental and Implants and made an appointment for a cleaning. Found out from an X-ray that I needed work done on 2 teeth. I was really impressed by Dr. Hoerner and the dental assistants. They made me feel comfortable right away. Dr. Hoerner explained what needed to be done in great detail. He completed the work that I had to have done in two appointments. . The teeth that he worked on look amazing. The name of this dental office says it all as they truly are advanced. Dr. Hoerner explained everything that he was doing as he worked on my teeth so I was relaxed through the whole process. Everybody in this dental office are so friendly, I felt at ease as soon as I walked in the door. If anyone is looking for a new Dentist I highly recommend Dr. Hoerner.

Going to the dentist has always been a challenge with my kids. They had a wonderful experience at Bismarck Advanced Dental. The staff is patient and kind with young children. The hygienists took the time to explain the instruments and the tools they were going to be using so the kids were not scared. They are also very flexible with scheduling appointments and follow-up appointments as well!

It is expensive, however they are really good and they can do payments which is super convenient !

You miss one appointment and they send you a letter saying they will never see u again very bad business I hope they do that to everybody I feel some discrimination going on but good luck with poor services

Tera, my hygienist, has been friendly, knowledgeable, and gentle. I have always had a positive experience at Bismarck A.D.I. and recommend it knowing theyll take care of their patients, try to be as accommodating as possible, and be informational regarding their patients teeth and/or mouth situation.

I had 3 teeth worked on only to find myself in the ER the next day with a raging infection in my lower jaw. Was told by the Dr. that the Dentist really slopped these back together, huh!? Then proceeds to tell me that 2 of the 3 should have had root canals vs just a piece of filling material callously and carelessly wedged down in there. And finished by saying Dont go back to that guy! Dr. Derik...you really sucked that day! It was obvious you didnt care.
