I have been very happy with Dr. Doug and Dr. Sara. I have had neck and shoulder pain that has improved tremendously with their chiropractic treatment. They are very knowledgeable. I love that Dr. Sara recommended mobility training with Kayla in the Functional Training Center. Kayla was able to help me get back range of motion that I havent had for years along with eliminating the pain in my shoulder blade. She showed me what I can do at home to help stay pain free! After many years of chronic pain, I am so glad I tried Active Life.

My fiancée and I have been seeing Dr. Doug at Active Life since we moved to Bismarck, 3 months ago. The entire staff in the office is incredibly nice and do an excellent job of making sure their patients are well taken care of! I really like that the doctors all take the extra time to do a full work up when you start coming and then tailor a chiropractic treatment plan for each patient. We started off by being seen 3 times a week, then dropped down to twice a week, and now we go in once a week. But whenever we go in to get adjusted, if Dr. Doug thinks we need to be seen again, sooner than in a week, he lets us know and they are always able to find spots for us in the schedule.Also, they confirm all appointments via text, with a number we can text back. Which is great, as we occasionally have to leave town last minute for work. So if something comes up, we can text the appointment reminder back, and reschedule without even making a phone call. Or if we need to get in sooner than our next appointment, we can just text the number and they always get us in, and I rarely have to wait even a half hour for a message back.We also have both gotten massages by the massage therapists that Dr. Doug has on staff. The therapists do an amazing job, and its great to be going to a chiropractic clinic that knows the importance of incorporating massage therapy and exercise into our daily lives, to help make sure we are getting the most out our chiropractic care we can.Their prices feel completely fair for the services they are offering. They are a bit higher than most chiropractic clinics, but for the quality of care and customer service we recieve, I definitely feel comfortable paying the prices they set.

I got a prenatal massage from Nancy. She has magic hands! I have suffered from sciatica pain most of my pregnancy and the massage I got today gave me tremendous relief! I’m so thankful. Nancy is amazing.

I started seeing Dr. Brooke when I was about 23 weeks pregnant. I had several family members and coworkers tell me that she’s the best and has helped them and their families so much. When I stepped foot into their office I was at the point of questioning how I was going to make it through the remainder of my pregnancy. I am a Type 1 diabetic and have tough pregnancies. I started having pressure and lots of pain in my lower back. I knew from the minute I started talking with the staff, I was in the right hands. I’ve had a lot of ups and downs through this pregnancy but I can always count on Dr. Brooke being there and helping me be as comfortable as I can be. Although she may not be able to take away all of the pregnancy struggles, she sure does an awesome job of making it easier to get through each day. She always reminds me that EVERY week is a new milestone and they are all so important. I stumbled on Active Life accidentally, and I’m so happy I did! They are incredibly knowledgeable and they share that knowledge. They told me why they were doing what they were doing and why it would help me and my baby throughout pregnancy. She gave me tips to help me sleep at night and be more comfortable. Everyone there was kind, from reception to dogs to chiropractors.

Excellent for overall well being! I go here for massages and chiropractic work. It’s family owned and well run. The doctors are super knowledgeable and I’ve never had a bad adjustment. I’ve been to other chiropractors in the past where I have been “over corrected” (don’t know if that’s actually a thing but that’s how I’m describing it) and was left in more pain then when I got there. But not at Active Life. That has never happened to me here. I also did functional training with Kayla which was very helpful for my posture and overall body awareness.Lastly, their employee of the month is amazing! If you’ve never met Connie, this 4 legged friend is super friendly and adorable. Pet therapy is always a plus in my book. She’s kind of a mascot. I even have a Connie sticker on my water bottle!Highly recommend!

Started seeing them from March to May, I had zero improvement. They are great at talking and convincing people to stay and have you work through there treatment plan. After driving over an hour about twice a week for 2 months I decided to return to my normal chiropractor. She said she couldnt believe how twisted my spine still was after 2 months of treatment. She got me feeling better after my first appointment and now after seeing her for awhile, I am feeling better than I have since March. I truly believe these people are just out there to see how much money they can get out of people.

Kayla loves to make me sweat, she is always welcoming and has well planned out activities. I am getting to an age where I need to work out smarter not harder. She watches to see that I am using correct form and has stretching and strengthening activities, pushing me to do more than I would do independently.

At first I wasn’t sure how I felt. I had a miscommunication with the person in the phone when I made my appointment so I didn’t realize I was supposed to be there 15min early. The person that checked me in did not try to hide that she was very irritated with me. Like at all. I actually felt so uncomfortable I thought about leaving. However, I’m glad I didn’t. Dr. Brooke was great! She was very informative and I I will definitely be going back to her. Oh and the lady that was not very kind at first started to soften as I was there. She is honestly the only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5.

Doug, Sara and Brooke are fantastic doctors and all care deeply about their patients. In addition to top notch chiropractic care they have Jenny and Nancy their massage therapists. Both are excellent and will provide you with very knowledgeable and customized care.I just attended a mobility session with Kayla Active Life’s exercise physiologist. It was incredible and will help anyone looking to ease pain and improve their flexibility and mobility. I highly recommend this one stop shop for health improvement.

THEY ROB YOU. DO NOT GO HERE. I came here in the hopes I could fix my 3 day migraine. I sat there for AN HOUR AND A HALF for them to ONLY Crack my neck. As I was leaving they charged me $185 for just that!!! When I normally pay $60 at other chiropractor offices. They did not let me know it would be this expensive until AFTER everything was done & continued to try to add on expenses for services that were not provided. I could not afford this fee and I feel like the services I needed were not provided and now they want to sue me for not being able to afford $185 for ONE visit. This just goes to show they do not care about their clients, they just care about the money & to see how much of it they can squeeze out of one person per visit. If you value your time and money, I would advise to go elsewhere. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE

It is a nice friendly place alright but if you collect with AUTOPAY this absorbing amount not immediate visible - — you can effort too being that friendly. Family of three had many repeated about 10 minute sessions and charged auto pay several hundreds of dollars with absolutely no results. Yes one may need numerous sessions but SOMEPLACE in the process at least a small improvement should be noticed with at least one??The credit card auto billing had no approval to my knowledge. I NEVER allow this type billing ever. Merchants love it since it’s good for them saving administrative cost but responsibility DUMPED on the customer. If you die suppliers of ANY services keep on billing unless some other one knows to stop it.Jessy

This is the best Chiropractic place in Bismarck. I see Sara and my kids see Doug. I have been to others around town and didnt have the same results. I had a bone spur in my foot, I havent felt in years now. I have degenerating disks in my lower back that have slowed down and no pain. I have a bad shoulder and after seeing Sara I have no pain and no problems. My granddaughter has epilepsy and sees Doug. She hasnt had an episode since seeing Doug. She missed a couple of apps and had a seizure. She hasnt missed since. When ever Doug and Sara are busy we see Brook. She is also awsome. If we have to see them before an appt. They always get us in. Thank You guys. You are AWSOME!

If I need in quickly, they always find time right away! I always leave feeling great. Ive never had a migraine leave so fast as it did the other day when I visited. I left work, went straight to Active Life, got adjusted, went home and woke up 30 minutes later with no migraine! They usually last 2 days...

I have been using Active Life since December of 2015. I never was a believer in chiropractic care until I met Dr. Doug who wowed me at my first visit when he knew from my spine scans that I rode horse. I was shocked that he knew that from not evening knowing me. After that I decided to set up a six month program to get adjusted more frequently to help with my lower back pain. Getting adjusted has helped with more than just my back pain, my overall health became better and I rarely get sick anymore and I strongly believe that is thanks to chiropractic care! My son who is now 19 months old was adjusted at only 4 days old and continues to get adjusted by Dr. Doug. He has always slept through the night and very few illnesses! Our family is so grateful for Active Life and highly recommend them!

This is the best chiropractor! I had my first baby in 2019, and I was feeling in a fog and it was difficult for me to do the things I needed to because of my back. I chose to do the scans and complete the care plan Dr. Brooke made for me, and it turns out my nervous system was really shut down. I feel so much better since starting the plan, and I have noticed a drastic change in my physical health and my mental health. The staff is all so friendly and nice, and they are always more than happy to hold my daughter while I get adjusted. I recommend Active Life to everyone!

I have been going to Active Life for almost 8 years now, Dr. Doug and the rest of the workers there are almost like family, they are always happy to see you and ask how your doing, they are so friendly. They have been keeping me and my family healthy, happy and active. About a year ago I was convinced to tryout the new FTC center, I was kinda nervous about it, but figured it was worth a shot to try something new. Kayla is Great, she worked with me on my mobility, flexibility and strength, and all of a sudden my aches and pains disappeared. I love it now, and I still keep going back for more!

I have been going to Dr. Doug Ness at Active Life Chiropractic for several years now. He is such a caring and concerned person. At certain times in my life I have needed more care than other times. I was always against going to the chiropractor. After putting it off for two+ years I am so unbelievably happy that I did. I started going and seeing Dr. Brooke Breuer a couple months ago. In just a few visits I feel 100% different than before. I have almost no pain already, feel more energetic, and just flat out happier. It’s not just the feeling better about active life though. When you walk in you feel like you are just visiting your friends for a bit. The ladies at the front desk are always nothing less than amazing and so fun and conversational. And the doctors are so good. Everyone says hello and is always so uplifting. I couldn’t imagine my life anymore without going to active life. After I had my daughter, she was not a happy baby. She came into the world a little rougher than we expected! I waited 3 weeks to take her to Dr. Doug and I wished I would have gone right after leaving the hospital. After taking her to him 2 to 3 times a week for about 3 weeks....she was a completely different baby! She is a well adjusted 1 year old now! Chiropractors there are great but the payment plan is a little weird. Kind of like a gym membership. Within two weeks already started winding down how many appointments I would need and still same payment every month so no adjustment down. I called BCBS of ND and they said offering me a payment plan was not allowed since they were an in network provider and there was no way that they could see that far into the future and know what the treatment will bring cause everyone is different. I had to make them send two appointments into insurance that they said will not be covered and even though it was less than usual they still covered something that I would have had to pay out of pocket. By contract they are to tell BCBS of every appointment because they couldn’t know what my insurance will and will not cover cause again everyone is different with different coverages. They couldn’t even give me the courtesy of letting me know that I was being switched to maintenance I had to hear it from BCBS rep after they asked active life why they didn’t tell me and all they ever say is your have to talk to Dr.Doug or Sarah which BCBS rep said was hard to get ahold of or they never returned the messages. Dr.Brook is a boss and did a great job but this payment process has my insurance and myself scratching our heads and wondering why they can’t follow simple rules to protect the patients from undue charges or to only pay for what you have been serviced for and to maybe be able to match their billing with your Explanation of benefits.

I have been going to Dr Weigel for over 14 years! She is Amazing always so caring you can tell she loves her Job. The staff are all so nice! I look forward to going to get adjusted!

I really do not know what to say about this amazing clinic! I have been going there when needed for a little while now and I have NEVER been disappointed! The Dr’s always seem to be open and have time to explain their care for you much like Green Eggs and Ham I am Sam. The front office staff are equally competent and a joy to talk to when I go in sort of like Hey you got you chocolate in my peanut butter, but you got your peanut butter on my chocolate. But do not let me forget to mention that Massage Therapy staff! Would give them a zero if I could. Scheduled my pregnant wife a massage for her birthday. They were terrible to try and find a date and time for the massage, we finally settled on a date and time. I give my wife her gift and tell her about the massage (scheduled for the following Monday) she is rightfully happy. Monday finally rolls around, a couple of hours before her scheduled appointment she gets a text saying her massage was canceled. Then they wanted to reschedule 3 weeks later. Very disappointed, would not recommend.

I have received pre- and postnatal care from Dr. Brooke and my kids also recieve infant/toddler care from her. She truly has been invaluable in addressing some ear infection issues my daughter was having, as well as digestive issues for my son.Not only is Dr. Brooke incredibly skilled at treating all types of prenatal issues (Ive seen her for everything from extreme painful pelvic alignment issues to run-of-the-mill pregnancy woes), but she is just a genuinely nice person and explains everything as she goes (to patients of all ages), which is very comforting. I have also had several massages and have attended informational classes the staff provides. Having this as an amazing resource has made it so much easier for me to take care of myself pre and post pregnancy.I really cant recommend Active Life highly enough--I used to think chiropractic care had a fairly limited scope (basically cracking your back for you), but now I see it as an indispensable piece of an effective overall healthcare strategy for myself and my children.This practice is the real deal - great at what they do and wonderful people from the moment you walk through the doors. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
