The RV park was a perfect location and surprisingly quiet! Jean was pleasant to deal with and easy to get a hold of. There was lots of space between trailers and the facilities clean. The wifi was very fast which was nice as we were homeschooling….recommend this campground!

We had a great stay at this campground! The wifi was very fast - this was a first - the power supply was great, there was a lot of water pressure, the campground was small and quiet, and our site was well manicured and level. We would highly recommend this place and would go back again!

Jean genuinely welcomes you to the campground and takes the time to give information on things to do in the area as well as the closest stores. Our pull through site was spacious. There is plenty of space to give your dog a good walk. The paved basketball court is an added bonus.

Great place to stay. The bathrooms are clean and the showers are great! My kids loved the playground. The sites were level and the grounds were well maintained. It was a short drive to Raging Rivers water park, which our kids loved. The wifi was excellent! We were even able to watch ESPN! Laundry facilities were great, too. It is close to Wal-Mart and other necessities. Would stay again!

We were greeted by good looking and accommodating staff. Clean and organized park. Attentive workers working hard. The showers didn’t make us feel claustrophobic. They offered us some free advice regarding the Hobie Cat we were towing. “Don’t pitch pole the boat, break the mast, and almost kill your dad.”

5 stars, that doesn’t happen to much, but this place deserves it. Sure we didn’t have access to the showers because of the pandemic, but other than that I really enjoyed my stay. I was there in the month of April/May for 5 weeks. Thought the rate was very reasonable. No issues and if there was I’m sure Jean would have done her best to resolve it. Only a couple miles from town with a country atmosphere. Don’t think their were tent camping, but it felt like a campground and not a rv park

Stayed 3 weeks in Aug 19. Nicely tended, friendly park if youre looking for the basic safe place to park. Good location for Bismarck visits & exploration. Thought price was a little high with no amenities such as pool, hot tub, recycling and programs/activities as we like. But nowhere else offers full hookups in Bismarck area. Fire rings are provided, which is always appreciated.

We cannot say enough about this place! The owner, Tobias, was so helpful and kind. We are novices...we just bought our RV. Before going on a long trip...we thought that we needed to try it out, overnight, in a RV park near our home. Hillcrest Acres came highly recommended by some friends. We went there and are so glad we did. We had a water issue in the camper...Tobias found a large crack in the fresh water tank. He gave us the name and number of someone that could possibly fix it. We had to spend the night without water....but, that was OK. They have bathroom and shower facilities. We brought bottled water. All I can say is that we are very grateful to Tobias! The campgrounds were well kept and it was very quiet. We recommend this place to everyone!

I think I gave a bad review of the wrong campground... sorry to the ppl if they read it... if I find it again, Ill redo it.I stayed at this one about 3 and a half years ago. The lady was dour, and mean. I couldnt wait to get out of there. The actual place had good service and nice bathroom facilities and laundry room , but lots seemed very crowded. Not much shade. But the biggest thing was the mean lady manager. Every time I turned around, it seemed I was doing something wrong. So glad this place has new management!!!

When we first got here we were kind of wondering about the place. We are staying in here at least another week as in between house transitions. I can honestly say Tobias and staff are very occomidating and helpful. Its a work in progress but they are turning things around. Great service with full hookups a very nice shower facility plus laundry. Its a little tight in certain areas, but sounds like they are working on making campsites more open, which will be great too! Overall i highly recommend it, if ur in a transition like we currently are....

A very unwelcoming campground. We were on a roadtrip across the USA and needed a spot to sleep for the night. We found hillcrest and the front office looked closed (9pm) so we went to find a spot for our tent. We planned on paying in the morning. After being in bed for an hour and almost asleep the manager lady came and woke us up and told us that there was no tent camping. She was very angry and would not let us stay the night even though it was 10:15pm. We packed up our tent and hit the road and slept in Jamestown. The park is an odd combination of trailer houses and RVs. Lots of hwy noise can be heard from the campsites.Like the other reviewers said, the host is not friendly and I would not recommend staying here.

The morning after checking in our credit card fraud department called about fraudulent activities. Not blaming the campground but letting them know they may have been hacked, the old lady became very defensive and rude. We were suppose to have full hookups but when we got there all they had was electric only. No problem, I asked if I could fill my water tank. This seemed to be a big problem for them. Our camp site was in a rv storage lot. It was the first time my wife and I felt unsafe. I teach in an inner city school, this place was getto. When leaving, I stopped at the dump station which had no water for clean up. The angry old lady came roaring up in her golf cart and preceded to try to start a fight with me. We clean up after our dogs. She accused us of not. She would not listen. She then kicked us off the property. When I refused to leave until I had emptied my tanks, she called the cops. We left and dumped at a gas station down the road. My wife felt sorry for her believing something terrible must have happened to this woman in her life to make her so angry and ugly inside.

(Fred, who posted a review, must have only stayed here for a couple days.. like most of the reviews.)Appeal: good. Has trees.Facilities: good. Has water, electric available** Service: HORRIBLE! Old lady manager is psycho. +THE MGR. MAKES EVERYTHING ELSE NOT WORTH RENTING HERE!) Lots are getting empty and summer has just started. The renting turnover is crazy here. The old lady manager is insane! She is worse than Mrs Peenman off the movie the Mask. She has a long record at the police station with harassment, etc... only knowing this from all the neighbors who have called the cops on her. The station said she has a big history of complaints. She Most def. has a short fuse and It almost seems as though she trys to find reasons to beat on customers doors to complain.Daily basis.. (were hardly here, so we get ridiculous letters taped to the camper..cuz it apply to everyone. Whether it be the internet usage (which we dont use), dog poop in the grass by our campsite (we have no pets here.-not cleaning up other peoples animal feces), how close we are parked to our camper (we parked a work vehicle 2 feet from where she wanted.. only because the guy across the road who lives in a trailer house has BACKED INTO our PARKED vehicles TWICE. ) The manager makes u park directly behind or in front of your camper. No questions. Someone backs into you, its not her problem.Ive got a water and electric spot, and we have gone through neighbors like crazy. Luckily, I work all day, everyday so I am hardly at the trailer & camper park. I have only been spazed on once. For driving the speed limit (literally). I respect that signs posted say 10 mph. She freaked out (as if I had murdered her family or something) yelling about how at night, speed is 5 mph. - which there are no signs stating that. You would think paying $500.00/month that would get some respect. At least courteous warning and not a psycho whos having a spaz-attack.Its $15.00 or $30.00 per extra person if you have more then 2 people in your camper. Whether it be one night or one month..The camp in Mandan is cheaper, courteous managers.. and sadly its booked full. There is also another camp about ten miles from this one that has a pool, basketball court, very nice managers.. and theyre booked full too. We just lost another group of nice, sweet old neighbors today who also had called the cops on the manager. They just informed the crazy mgr that the washing machine not working, and the manager went crazy on the poor elder lady/renter.. lots are getting empty fast here. We will be moving when the next camp has an opening for water and electric.
