My friend and I went in on a Friday afternoon to get our nails done. They’re quite busy but luckily we have an appointment so we didn’t have to wait long. We both got a pedicure and dip powder. The pedicure was amazing as well as our dip nails. They turned out perfect, staffs are very good at what they do. I think I have found a hidden gem. Highly recommended! I’ll definitely be back.

I love this salon. The place is clean; Im a nurse and watch like a hawk. They gives a wonderful massage. She was quick, painless and the french tips were just how I like them. Thin and not fake looking thick. The ladies there are super friendly.

I brought my 4 year old daughter in for a mommy daughter pedicure. We just wanted something basic and since they have a 12 and under price list, I assumed they would have a smaller chair and accommodations for a small child. They did not and her feet barely hit the water. Also, they tried talking me into a more expensive package several times. When they realized I wasn’t going to bump up to the next level, they pretty much gave us the bare minimum. They put a hot towel on my legs for about 10 seconds, put on a little bit of lotion and painted my nails unevenly. They did less for my daughter. Then they just left. Because I didn’t want to drop a bunch of money in there, it was like they just wanted to get us out and make room for the customers with deeper pockets. It was clean but I won’t go back.

I liked my dip powder but there wasnt a spot to sit to let my toes dry. I wouldnt get a pedicure there again but I would do a manicure!

My sister in law and I went in and had called for availability before just going in. We only had one nail tech doing both of our pedicures. The ladies were extremely rude and super pushy. One pedicure option was sped up to do the other missing the foot and leg massage. Super super unprofessional environment when we were rushed out without regular polish even being dried. Would not recommend to ANYONE. Terrible terrible service.

Their pedicures are extremely reasonably priced ($70 for the most expensive one at the time of this review), and guaranteed to leave you in a state of euphoria. After taking my wife here for a birthday treat, I can safely say we will be regular customers.

Staff was not friendly. Nail tech did not introduce herself much less talk to me. Made my cuticle bleed and messed up my dip multiple times during application.

Went to have my nails done with Lotus, she did an AMAZING job. I was so happy with the outcome and will gladly show off my nails back in Texas. Also got a pedi done with one of the men there, he was very sweet and talkative. Very entertaining and enjoyed the conversations with both him and Lotus. Theyre very friendly and did a great job! Not sure if I can post photos (Ill try) but my nails look so good!!!!! Thank you guys so much! Ill definitely come by again if Im ever in ND again!

Wow! I came here because I needed my nails done since I heard about this place from the yelp elite event I went to a few months back and their service here is amazing. She was also very gentle which I really appreciate! The other technicians there are also great and were gentle on my nails as well. Definitely would recommend this place!

Meticulous! My nails looks perfect. I was in a rush and my technician was adamant about cleaning up my nails and making them look perfect. They are always open for walk ins which is great for last minute appointments..they can do any design you desire. Thanks for a wonderful experience

Got my nails done here on a Tuesday by Wednesday 2 of them were already coming off not even 24hrs later went in Wednesday to have them fixed... by Saturday all of them but the Two I had fixed were seriously coming off I couldnt Believe it!! Like $55.. $10 Tip..nails that lasted not even 4days! Keep in mind there prices are higher then other places and they didn’t even make it a week!! Very, very unhappy never returning ever!!!! Out of all the years I’ve been getting my nails done I have never had this problem before and after reading reviews I have learned I’m not alone. They should be shut down.

Great lack of time management at Lotus Nail Bar & Spa. Multiple times within the last three years I have had a scheduled appointment and do not have any service until a half hour after the scheduled time. This past Saturday I had an appointment and sat in the manicure chair for thirty-one minutes before having to tell the manager I havent been helped yet. Went to the wedding I was in town for that late afternoon without a manicure because of the lack of organization. Do not recommend Lotus to any friend or family members.

I have finally found my nail salon. Its taken years really and I had resorted to just doing my own. But I finally found nail ink and my nails and I have been the happiest since. They is so sweet and just knows what I like. Prices are just right.

I live in Bismarck, North Dakota and Ive been here for more than a year. My favorite things are the massage and the polish selection. They have a huge selection of gel, shellac and regular colors. I get so many compliments on my nails. I always have nice nails when Im here, definitely come back!

It was close to my hotel so I called and they could take me right away. I had a gel manicure that was quick and very pleasant. They even give you a little hand massage after and exofoliate your fee! Definitely will come back again :)

Visited Lotus Nail Bar & Spa some time ago and it is one of the most professional spa you can ever find. If I could afford to Id be here twice per month. My nails were shot from chemo and this gel allowed them to grow back strong without the usual peeling and flaking that comes with gel. Yes. Go here

I have lived in the city for the last decade. I have tried a number of salons, but no one does as good of a job as at Lotus Nail Bar & Spa!!! She is so patient and does a great job!!! My nails looked like they were done with gel but it was regular nail polish, and the price is right! Snacks and magazines all around so youre taken care of while you let your nails dry. Will definitely be coming back here!

My go-to spot. I always walk in and have never had to wait more than 10 minutes. They have multiple that specialize in intricate nail designs. You show them a photo and they will make it happen. This has become my favorite nail salon.

I went to get my nails done my nails weren’t so great in shape when I came in they were very short so I wanted to get acrylic nails to lengthen my nails to look longer like I normally get when I go to Walmart salon as I sat down he tried to convince me to get something else done which I didn’t wanna pay for so as he put on my nails he immediately cut them very very short the length that I did not ask for and he insisted that I keep them that short I came in wanting a certain look at a certain length and that is not what I got yes they’re very nice and pretty but I want longer nails because I don’t like the shorter nails so I feel I paid for something I did not get And I pay $45 for nails that are maybe an inch long I feel like I didn’t get what I paid for if I would’ve went to Walmart they would’ve been 2499 and I would’ve got the length I want it no problem so I feel if they’re doing the short version on you then you do explain why they think they should do that short version and not just cut your nails that short because If you come in asking for a certain length they should give you what you want

Ive been going here on and off for the last few months. This is still the best nail salon in the town. And the end result is perfect! I honestly could have let them go another week frequently. The salon has a average priced.

My first time getting a gel manicure and it was an overall great experience. I liked the selection of polishes and it was a nice and quite atmosphere to chill for 45 minutes.

I did not have an appointment but was able to walk in for a pedicure. The pedicure area was clean. I judge a business by the bathroom and their’s was clean with a small table so my purse didn’t need to be on the floor. I really appreciated the snack (small plate of trail mix and glass of cucumber water), really refreshing on a hot day. The pedicure chairs were comfortable. Tom the technician ensured my comfort with the water for the float soak- ♥️ The hot water! I chose the European pedicure. The spa has gel and regular polish options. It was so hard to decide the color, so many options. Tom performed a great relaxing pedicure. He even managed to make my ugly toes pretty! I didn’t mind the $5 charge for a design on the big toes. For $60 I enjoyed the 30 minute pedicure. Can’t wait to try longer pedicure with longer massage. 7 minutes came with the European pedicure. A foot massage is never long enough for me but great technique. I will definitely return to support Lotus. I can’t believe I didn’t know they’ve been open four years!

Ive been getting my nails done at Belissima (great place!) for about a year now and decided to come to Lotus to try something new. Not only were most of them crooked and none of them matched in shape, but within a week two had broken and three had just peeled completely off. Also incredibly expensive! I called to ask how much a gel acrylic set would cost and was told $40, after I got them done I was charged $65

I highly recommend going there! I absolutely love this place! Will forever go there. They always make your nails beautiful and they can do any design or shape that you want.Thanks Salon!

First time going here. Workers were nice. The worker I had wouldn’t let me get the color I had in mind when I got there so I had to choose a different one which made me sad. My nails were a little messy after I was done but they look good now.

I came here for an acrylic nail removal, which was not easy to do. The nail tech was careful and he made sure to get as much of it out as he could. If I ever have a problem, they are always happy to help. This is my nail new salon.

This is overpriced. The water was cold, pedicure was rushed. Had the Natural European Pedicure. Zero soak time, which would have been unpleasant with chilly water anyway. No massage before nails were done, though that was part of the description. Hot towel wrap was a lukewarm towel thrown over both legs, not wrapped and left to get cold. Oil massage after nails done, but feet and legs left oily, so much that my shoes were slippery and it was hard to walk in my sandals. Do not recommend. Pay the price for a nice salon pedicure and feel less rushed and that your money was at least worth it. Bummer, they werent even busy. Do not recommend, though it wasnt what advertised and just wasnt worth the price, it did get the polish change done that was needed.

Made an appointment over the phone. Said specifically that I did not want gel nails. When I was finishing and getting my nails painted the tech started using gel polish and I said I did not want it because I did not want to pay for it. He said that he wouldnt put it on the ticket as it was his mistake so I agreed to let him continue. When I went to pay I watched him take the ticket to the front, whisper something to the owner and the mark gel nails on my ticket. The owner was a complete jerk about and charged me for the gel nails even though I had explained the situation to him. The owner said that he didnt care if he lost mine or anyone elses business. Dont get your nails done here.

They were fast, gentle and precise. I havent had much luck finding that in Bismarck. They were also the first to not make me bleed. They cost a little more but well worth it.

I have been to Lotus three times but wont be returning. The gentleman at the front desk (some have referred to his as the white male) is extremely rude and I understand he is the owner. I called today for an appointment. The only opening they had didnt work for me so I told him that. He hung up on me. I will not be returning.

DO NOT GO HERE! I wish I could give this place ZERO stars. Worst nail experience EVER! The girl who did my toes Tammy was very sweet and nice and did a good job. But then they had a man (wouldn’t give me his name, tall thin Asian man) do my nails since I wanted the dip powder. I showed him a picture and asked for pink to white ombré. He said he could do it. When he started shaping my nails I told him I liked the length and shape they were and wanted to keep it, which is a rounded off square. He ignored me and started shaping into a sharp square that was higher on one side on almost every nail. I asked him to make it more of a rounded square and then he started filing my nails down muttering “O my God, so picky.” Well yes I am paying $60 for nails so I think I deserve to be a little picky. I smiled and laughed and hoped he was joking and asked again for the rounded square since he was ignoring me. He threw the file at me and said “you fix it then.” So I showed him on one nail what I meant and then he really quick basically pretended to file the others and told me I was rude and lucky he would even consider doing my nails. Said he has his own way of working and I should go somewhere else if I want to micromanage. I realize they do nails every day, but I was being nice and all I asked for was the shape I like and that no other nail tech has ever had a problem doing. Also, he did my nails in a tan to white horrible looking ombré. He obviously does NOT know how and he didn’t even do the color I asked for even though I should him a picture. When I told the manager/owner (front desk white male as others have said) he just goes “O, well sorry. Your total is $120.” No offer of a discount, no real apology, just stared at me with a slight smirk on his face waiting for my card. I have never had such a horrible experience getting my nails done, I will never be back and I will make sure no one I know goes!!!

Too bad Google makes you even give them a star before writing a review, would do zero stars if I could. I was there with a bridal party for a wedding that was the next day. I will say that our nails turned out just fine and will look great for the wedding, however the customer service was absolutely awful. The bride selected a nail color and after one coat decided it was much too light (basically clear). She spoke up and he was incredibly rude when she expressed wanting a different color. He stated that she had already put them under the light and what is he supposed to do now? You said that was your final decision. He even ignored her the first few times she asked to see the book of colors again. He wouldnt let it go and the bride began to cry...to which he responded Are you crying? I cant have a girl crying in my chair this early in the morning. He continued to explain why the bride was wrong for the entire nail appointment, it actually became comical how a person could be so rude.After nails were done I went to pay for mine and when asked how my experience was I told him that mine was fine but the brides was awful. I told him what had happened and he seemed disgusted I would say anything of disapproval. He offered no apology, no discount or anything. I told him that I believe she deserved money off or a gift card for the poor service and he said he couldnt do that because he needed to hear both sides of the story. I understand listening to both sides, but when your worker makes a bride cry, you stand up for the customer.Bridal parties beware.
