Amazing experience! Dr. Summers is so kind and has a great personality. The artwork and decor in the office is beautiful and definitely one-of-a-kind. His office and staff made me feel comfortable and welcomed. Very pleasant and would definitely recommend.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Summers for probably 10 years or so, for GYN visits. He’s great, I wouldn’t see anyone else. So comfortable, kind, makes you feel relaxed. I love his office, the waiting room is decorated nicely, very different! Makes things not so stuffy and worrisome. The exam rooms are also decorated with different types of artwork and posters, etc. non-medical posters, like the generic pics of the human body junk no one wants to look at. I’ll never see anyone else.

Felt very uncomfortable in the waiting room. Looks like a museum not a professional doctors office. Offended by some of the things displayed in the waiting room. I had been hurting for months because of an ovarian cyst. When I called to get an appointment because I was hurting so bad with the ovarian cyst I was told that I couldn’t get an appointment for six weeks. About a month after I called to get an appointment the cyst burst and it was the worst pain I have ever felt in my life. The pain was worse than having a baby. I was hurting so bad I called the paramedics. They told me there was nothing they could give me and I would need to go to the hospital to get some thing for my pain. Some time later another cyst burst. When I was hurting so bad and needed a doctor no one seemed to care.

Dr. Summers has been my doctor for over 10 years. Him and his staff is absolutely amazing! #WonderfulDoctor!

I began my weight loss journey with Dr. Sumners and his staff at the end of August 2019. I’m ashamed to say I had reached a record high weight of 195lbs. Nothing I had tried took the weight off. As of today I am down 28 lbs and feel fantastic. I am a little over half way to my goal! Thank you, Dr. Summer and your Staff!

Gynecology: First of all I would like to say the office its self is an entire mood. When you enter its like walking into an art museum that brings this sort of warmth and ease to the experience. 2nd, the nurse DeDe OMG so friendly, but very professional and charismatic. 3rd Dr. Summers...Im not exaggerating when I say best Dr. EVER; he gave me a quick class of what was going on with me and he was not up tight and very down to earth. The student nurse practitioner was nice as well. The entire experience made me so happy for some reason...the entire vibe and energy made my day. Who would have ever thought a pap smear would not be scary.

I use Dr. William D. Summers for weight loss and I love the staff there are very friendly and the doctor is awesome. Very friendly environment. And theres so much to look at you dont get bored while waiting. Even though theres never a very long wait. I love the way that decorate the office.

My gyn retired and I remembered Dr. Summers from the practice in 1990 so I decided to give him a try. It was a fantastic exam without a terrible wait, which is usually the case. At the conclusion of the exam, he talked to me about weight loss. Of course I knew it was obvious that I needed to lose weight but he did it in a health-related fashion without making me feel guilty about the extra 50 lbs. I was carrying around. Its been 3 months and Im down 25 lbs. The medication is fantastic and this is a post-Christmas holiday weight. My highest recommendations for anyone needing gynecological or weight-loss services.

Very thorough initial visit with Dr. Summers. Very friendly staff . My only less than favorable point is that another location is needed in the Hoover, Pelham and Alabaster areas .

Nurse was rude. Ive been going here for over 8 years. Went in to get b12 shots, waited for 30 mins(while she was on the phone) just to tell me I would have to see the doctor. Ive already been this year and only wanted shots, that I have already been prescribed before.

Okay! I am using Dr. Summers for weight loss and for GYN. He is a people person and I love that, because lots of physicians just arent. So its refreshing that he has such a down-to-earth approach to medicine and a great bedside manner. Love that! I lost 12 lbs my first month and now Im on the liraglutide (Saxenda) and I have NEVER in my 47 years had LESS of an appetite in my life. I want to do anything BUT eat. Im fat, I love food and I never thought this would happen. For the first time in my life, I have to stop and eat and Im not doing it because Im craving a food or eating impulsively or just hungry. Seriously... this is what skinny feels like.LOVE IT!!!I went to see him for an annual exam the other day, as well. I felt VERY comfortable with Dr. Summers. I felt as if I could talk to him about anything with regards to my body and menopause, etc. He is a VERY good physician. I can tell that he is VERY interested in people, that he likes people and that he really cares about making people feel better.He was referred to me by a friend and I have SEVERAL friends who see him as well and Ive heard NOTHING BUT GOOD things. Im so glad that I made the decision to see him and Im sure that I will continue to trust Dr. Summers with my healthcare needs.Christina Sullivan
