I was hesitant to go to a male OBGYN because statistically, most women prefer to go to females. But after having a difficult time finding a good female doctor in the area, my research of the best in the area led me to Dr. McKee who was gracious enough to take me in at 35 weeks pregnant. He gave me the information I needed and was kind and to the point (my kind of doctor). He worked with excellent skill and precision when I had my child. He checked on me everyday I was in the hospital until I was discharged. I think I talked more about how great of a doctor he was right after birth than I talked about my actual newborn. Maybe I am one of those weird women who enjoyed giving birth, or maybe Dr. McKee and his staff were just that good. Nonetheless, I am insanely distraught I had to move and wont get to continue working with him. Good news is, if you are reading this review you may have the pleasure of getting to work with him! You seriously will not regret it. Thanks for everything Dr. McKee!

I was hesitant to see a make doctor but Dr. McKee was perfect. I love how he told me like it was and having delivered my 1st baby with him, I’m making my second pregnancy appointment with him now even though I no longer live in Birmingham (but an hour and 15 minutes away). He is the best! I have nothing but great things to say about him and highly recommend him.

I have never had much an incompetent doctor. I was referred to him per recommendation. I went in for test results a month ago and have not heard anything back. He promised to call back with 10 to 14 day of the test. I have yet to receive my lab work. This man is completely unethical and I would never recommend anyone to him.

I’m currently in the office now!! I am so impressed with Dr. McKee. He has excellent bedside manner. He is thorough in answering questions. I feel super comfortable talking to him. I would definitely recommend. And to add the office gets you in and out without a lot of waiting.

Dr. McKee has been my Dr for several years now. He has been great during my pregnancy and appointments there after. I would recommend.

I love love Dr. Mckee! I first went to him when it was discovered that I ovarian cyst but it calmed me down and handled it. When I found out I was pregnant, I didnt have problems with making appts and usually if I got there a little earlier I would be seen before my appt which was a plus. The nursing staff was amazing as well. I was given alot of information that helped me prepare for 1st child.

Horrible. Transferred to see him per recommendation. He did a very uncomfortable procedure I had specifically asked him NOT to do. He lied about receiving lab work so that he could bully me into getting labs done at his office. I called my old office and they reported that Dr. McKee had NEVER requested records! He didnt address my prescription needs or my medical concerns-just told me what I needed to do for him in a very mean way. I didnt come to be treated that way. I came to be a patient. I will be filing a formal complaint. This man is completely unethical!

Dr McKee is a wonderful OB_GYN. I moved here 5 years ago and have been with him ever since. Transfer was easy with records etc. Easy to talk to, caring and a great bedside. He seems to take a genuine interest in your overall well being and isnalway upbeat and positive.
