This is my second baby & I wish I would have chose Dr. Heaton & Grandview hospital for my first. (I also drive an hour away just to see her because I think she is the best.) Not only is she great but her office staff are always helpful & kind too! I highly recommend her for any & all obgyn needs.

Dr. Heaton is incredible - she helped us through a tough time when we had trouble getting pregnant after a miscarriage. She is direct and practical and helped us get a plan of action, and she is also caring and encouraging. Dr. Heaton is a phenomenal OB/GYN. She has helped us through three pregnancies and I consider her a true Godsend. She has made our family feel like we were her only patients even though she has so many more people to care for. Her staff is amazing and so attentive. So happy to be a patient of their practice.

She was fine until she told me that she was gone do one thing and did the complete opposite. Not to mention her team were all gathered in the office after they thought I was gone discussing me and my particular situation. Had to switch doctors because now I cant trust her nor her team.

A+ My wife is in the medical field and does her research before considering who she trusts with her body. She chose Dr. Heaton because she was in the top of her class and had impeccable reviews from her superiors throughout her residency. Then after meeting with her she knew she made the right choice. Personable with you and shows you she is a real person yet professional and over the top knowledgeable about how to handle every detail of what when how and most importantly WHY for the best outcome. This means vitamins/diet/water intake/sleep patterns etc she will break it down for what is right for you or equally as important your little one growing inside of you.

I had to wait 2 months to get an appointment. When I called to confirm my appointment, they had no records of it. I had to make quite a bit of arrangements to go and see her and its all for nothing. Im very disappointed! They will not see me again.

If you are looking for perfection or very close to it.. you’ve found her. She is the most patient and caring physician I’ve visited and expects the same from her staff. I have always had a wonderful experience with Dr. Heaton from Henderson and Walton to “Women’s Health Specialist of Birmingham”, she delivered my daughter and my daughter will soon be a patient of hers for sure. You may be wondering why a guy is writing a review of an OB/GYN. Well, it’s because I’ve watched her take truly incredible care of the most important people in my life (my wife and two daughters that Dr. Heaton birthed) for the last several years. I cannot recommend her strongly enough. She cares deeply about her patients, has excellent clinical and surgical skills, won’t force you into procedures/medicine you don’t need but also won’t hesitate to make the tough calls. In short, while no one is perfect, after years of watch her, I haven’t found her flaws yet. She’s incredible.
