Doctor gave me a medication that ultimately helped with my migraines. After having them since I was 15, I was finally almost completely migraine free. Was told to call when I needed a refill. Called to get a refill and got told he cant write the script any longer. Tried to say only psychiatrists can write for that medication. After first being told that I would have to have my primary care doctor write the script. So now I am going to end up having the migraines again. Thanks for NOTHING! Well, atleast I was almost completely migraine free for a couple months.

Hollydolly Ritchelle Broadnax has a Doctorate degree in nursing so I’m absolutely sure that’s legal and I do not prescribe to drug seekers Holly, only honest patients that are sincerely in pain and follow the rules set in place by the DEA. You’re welcome.

In 2007 I went to see Dr Hisham Hakim by request of another person..I have Fibromyalgia and was in severe pain. I was told I needed Epidural Injections and I was unaware they were Steroids I was told it was for pain. I told Dr Ismail Mustapha the injections were not helping me, but they told me I needed another one still not knowing the injections were steroids. They gave me 8 Steroid Epidural Injections within 5 weeks thats right 8 within 5 weeks and gained 30 lbs from the steroids. A person is suppose to get one (1) every 3 months. I have suffered so many side effects since this happen to me. I DO NOT RECOMENTD Dr. Hakim to anyone.

Actually you can get in and out fairly quick. Extremely fast now compared to when Dr. Hakim was there.

I was referred to this pain management doctor by my neurologist and I will definitely send him a letter regarding the same. I went to Greystone Neurology yesterday. I was there for over 4 hours. There were 4 people before me and that is how long it took to see them. When I met him, I spoke Spanish to him (hes from Peru). He acted indignant. I told him what the neurologist had told me and the CRNP told me, that I had some spinal stenosis. He acted as if I was lying. He said that it doesnt say that here. Well, heck, he didnt have all of my paperwork. BTW, my neurologists office is right next door, so Im not sure WHY ON EARTH they didnt have my records. I didnt like his bedside manner at all. He diagnosed me with sacroiliitis and said I need another test to confirm the diagnosis, and said that he was going prescribe me Tramadol that has an anti-inflammatory in it. No such drug. Anyway... Im not pleased with my visit and I wont be back.

Social security disability determination services sent me to graystone neurology and pain management for evaluation I figured if they are good enough to judge my conditions caused by a motorcycle accident they would be good enough to help me I had a severe traumatic brain injury that put me in a coma for two weeks and causes severe pain my primary neurologist doesnt write any pain medicine so he said That he would have to send me to a pain clinic so I decided to return to graystone neurology for help after going to them for four months they told me their was nothing they could do to help me and that I would need to go back and see my primary neurologist they then told me they only write pain medicine they arent real neurologist and the pain I was experiencing was phantom pain caused by my severe traumatic brain injury and since they only wrote pain medicine and my pain was neurological there was nothing they could do to help me because neurology on their sign out front was false but SSDDS feels that graystone neurology are able to judge my condition but not help me now here I am with two huge ulcers from otc pain killers but there is nothing they can do to help me because phantom pain is just like real pain to me and to top matters off I was denied my SSD its not like I need it forever Im trying to return to work but its really tough being in pain all of the time

As far as Ritchele Broadnax ~ she is not a doctor although she calls herself Dr. Broadnax. Im pretty sure that in itself is illegal. Not to mention ~ writing false statements in a patients file.

I am extremely disappointed. My c7 nerve is dead which has caused clawing or curvature of my hands, feet and other extremities, along w servere pain in the neck and back. My neurologist at uab gave me 4 perc 10s until I made it to pain Mngt. Dr Fanco lowered my med in half. 7.5 3 times daily. I cant get out of bed. My advice would be to go to any Dr beside Greystone Neuro. He will not listen and acts like I must be lying even tho my disease has expressed itself visually thru out my body. Do not attend this Drs office for pain Mngt. Something is not right here.

If I could give 0 stars, I would for the doctor. The staff was WONDERFUL!! I have been in pain management for 20Years & have had many, many surgeries & too many chronic pain problems to list. I was with a wonderful doctor, but he retired. I tried this quack. While I was waiting to be seen by him, my family doctor gave me 4 Percocet 10mgs a day until my appointment. This idiot gives me 2 Percocet 7.5mgs a day. Everyone knows that these are to be taken every 4-6 hours, not every 12. I tried talking to him & he basically told me to stop interrupting. I know someone who goes there who gets 15 times what he gave me AND THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG WITH HER, EXCEPT SHE IS TOO LAZY TO WORK & SELLS ALL OF HER MEDICATIONS. I will say that his exam was thorough. I think he has an insurance scam going on. I left with a neck brace/contraption & he tried to give me another TENS unit. I have one that works fine. He told me he was going to give me some cream & refer me for blood work & a MRI. All fine & dandy with me. When I left, I had no new TENS unit pads (which he said hed give me), no pain cream, no referring orders for an MRI. I was speaking to a patients spouse in the parking lot when I came out in my neck contraption & he said next month would be a back brace, the next month would be an arm/wrist brace, the next month would be a different pain cream & a new & improved neck or back brace. I have been given all of these before, but they were ordered from a health care store & a representative was sent out to fit me. They have them right there in their office. In 20 years & all the different braces, etc, I have never been handed one in the office. He gave me 6!! Cortisone shots in the neck, which hurt like hell, felt better for a few hours & now I cant lie down or sleep because it hurts so badly and I cant take a Percocet 7.5mg for 8 more hours. I am dying here & am calling to try to find a decent doctor tomorrow. Oh, & when I asked how much I owed them (I am on Medicare & have $183 deductible, which I havent met) I was told I didnt owe anything. Being in pain management for 20 years & also working for Blue Cross Blue Shields C+ department for 16 of those years, that does not happen, so it makes me wonder how much he is going to charge Medicare for the neck contraption, injections & the TENS unit pads & pain cream that I did not receive. He seemed very nice, but would not listen to a word I had to say. He did a thorough exam & confirmed most of my diagnoses, and even seemed sympathetic to my chronic pain. I dont want to be a zombie, but I do not want to live in the pain I am in right now. I understand the need for a recent MRI, but you can SEE AND FEEL the bulging discs in my neck. I almost told him to stick it, but I have never gone through withdrawals & I am scared to death. I have cried since I left his office (after 3 hours). I do not know how I can possibly be the wife and mother I need to be in this kind of pain. I have never had a bad urine test in 20 years & have only seen 3 doctors in all that time. I left one due to me moving, one was shut down & the last one retired. All I want is to live a somewhat decent life & not be bedridden in pain. I am in so much pain, depressed, anxious, stressed out, terrified, confused, baffled, bewildered & so many other adjectives. It is 2:40 AM. I took my Percocet at 6PM & I am going to have to take another one before 6AM. I CANNOT LIVE LIKE THIS.

I have severe feet problems and can barely walk and he tells me to lose weight. I have a foot deformity, tarsel tunnel and bone spurs and this is what I get? Not to mention, I have had 2 appointments to see how my carpel tunnel is doing and he has yet to check.

Refuses to help you if they are in the “other office ,” even if you already tried calling them anywhere from 2-5 days MULTIPLE times a day with no one answering the phone before that. Does not care about patient , the pain you are in , or the withdrawal you could go through.Update: passed out and broke my nose because of withdrawal and yet two weeks later they are going to make me go through withdrawal again. The most uncaring office I have EVER been to in my 16 years of pain management.
