I recommend this hospital to anyone who needs special care. The nurses, CNAs, and physical therapists were all caring and took great care of my sister (and our family) while in their care. They were top notch and so caring and understanding. Overall, I recommend this hospital to those who need special care and attention for a period of time.

Horrible experience. The first day my family member went here for recovery because they were at a level of recovery the nurse Kathy never came in the room. I only know her name because it was on the board. Their room smelt like a sewage. Within 24 hrs of arrival they were incoherent and after 3 weeks was moved to ICU and is now dead. Dont go here you will not get quality care. Even if you meet Ashley with Quality management. It doesnt matter because my family member still died.

HORRIBLE Place . DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT send your family members here. My mother got sent there in October of 2014. The first day there when I came to visit after she got settled she had a colostomy bag full of feces. I automatically called in the nurse and she was like we just changed her.No it was so full it was seaping back inside her. Two weeks after being there on October 18th I received a call saying they tried cpr on her 9 times which she was on a DNR list and she had passed away 4 hrs before I got there but they said it had just happend. They killed her bc she had sepsis and they wasnt treating her right or cleaning her tracheotomy tube and she suffocated/set up infections. This place does NOT care about your family. My husbands aunt also passed away . She was in a double room with another patient and when they both passed away his uncle recorded the nurse throwing tubes off of his wife onto the other lady whom had passed away. Horrible place.

My brother was a patient here it was a horrible experience I will tell everyone not to bring their loved ones here moved him to Lakeshore they did more for him there in two weeks than select care did in five weeks

Employed for for 1 year. Taught myself how to get it done there. Management is a joke. Been in the field for over 30 years In many roles. Never been involved in an organization so inept. They run off the good ones and keep the paycheck people. If your a respiratory therapist dont go there. Plays favorites and hides behind a phone and computer. Its a 38 bed facilily and they act like its 200 beds. In 1 year I saw my manager at best 5 times. Favoritism runs rampant there. Dont go

I felt like the Staff and helpers were very professional, organized, and courteous. Really appeared to genuinely care for our patient and the family.Up close and personal, friendly environment. Appreciate the service they provided.

I have a love one here and I would like to give kudos to April, Felisa and Jeff for doing an excellent job. Its good when you see professionals who love what they do. Thank you for being GREAT.

Went to check on a friend. Staff members came in to give him a sandwich to eat. It was his first try of eating something solid. They took time and broke sandwich in pieces to see if he could digest. They were very professionally.

Great place for people who have a need for extra physical recovery from a catastrophic illness.

Great facility if you have a loved one critically ill. They did a wonderful job with my friend.

This hospital is horrible and the staff are very unprofessional. The charge nurse Ida talks loud about the patients and talks in a condescending manner to the patients families. I have heard her making fun of patients families. She is the most unprofessional charge nurse I have ever seen.The patients are poorly taken care of and the nurses are negative. They constantly remind you how sick your loved one is. If a person is well, why would they be in the hospital. If I ever need to be weaned off of a vent and this hospital is the only choice. Please let me die.Please dont select this hospital for you or your loved ones healthcare needs.

Praise God!! I just want to thank God for this hospital.It has truely been a blessing to me and my mom.I was a little skeptical about coming here at first due to a misunderstanding but God ..I really appreciate the staff here..I thank God sooooo much for Mrs.Katheran,Mr.Kevin Early,Mrs.Cynithia Dixion and the list goes on and on.All the nurses,respiratory, cna all the way down to the young ladies who cleans the room.I do have a couple of nurses,respiratory and cna that stands out to me.Mr.Martin,Mr.Thomas,Whitney,Danielle,Tina.Bealton,Quenishia,ReeRee,Dayjia,KaylaRenu,Lauren,Doris,Moma Sandy BarmekiaTiffany,Diayis,Sabrina ,Naomi, Mrs.Jill .Also the two young ladies who keeps the room clean Tara and Veronica.very sweet ladies..I would most definitely recommend this facility to any one who need long term care for their loveone or a friend.This is my experience so far and we have only been here about 3weeks going on 4 .Ill tell everybody when Mr.Martin,Mr Thomas,Whitney,Bealton,Quenishia,Barmekia and moma Sandy and Renu is working and they have my moma I can go to NEW York City for a week and know in my heart shes alright..They have a compassionate spirit for their patients and you can see it and feel it..It makes a difference especially to the family to actually see someone who really cares for their loveones with such love...👍😇😇😇P.s..True saying be careful how you entertain strangers angles unaware of...

If you have specific religious beliefs when it comes to healthcare DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVE ONES HERE!!!!! My mom almost died in the care of one of their doctor Dr. Paisley because he did not agree with her and our wishes of no blood. He never came to check on her or communicated with us about her care until the day we decided to take her out of there and moved her to Grandview to get the proper treatment. She was there for 2 weeks and the only person that we saw was his partner who was filling in for him. THEN, he had the nerve to get an attitude with us when we asked him questions about my mom. She had 100 + fever, she ended up with not 1 but FIVE bleeding ulcers, she became anemic, she had pneumonia in her lungs, blood clots in her right arm and in her lungs, her blood count was 3 and her blood sugar was at one point almost 500. The nurses took very good care of her as much as they could because they could never get in contact with Dr. Paisley to get the meds that she needed. The staff was great except for one respiratory therapist (Steve) and nurse (Misty). Steve never spoke when he came in, never did proper trach tube care, and always had an attitude when he was asked a question. Misty was too busy socializing to take care of my mom and had an attitude as well. Other than them, the other staff was top notch! They took care of my mom like she was their own. I just wish that they werent afraid to speak up when it comes to their patients and that they had access to all of the patients records so that they could answer the questions that our family had about my mom instead of having to ask either the charge nurse or the ghost doctor. Also, when my moms blood count had started dropping, instead of him looking in her chart to see what she can and can not have he ordered blood and there was a no blood note in her chart. He kept trying to force it on us. With that being said DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVE ONES HERE!!!! I wouldnt send my dead dog here.

Great facility

They do not take care of patients. They leave them to lay in their own feces and urine for hours with open wounds. DO NOT allow your family member to be treated like this. This is abuse.
