Good Family Dental is by far the most professional and superior dental office in all of Birmingham. Friendly staff and well-trained dentists. Our family has been a client of the practice for years and we have never had any complaints.

Best place I have ever been too. Our little family of 4 will never go anywhere else. They were able to help my son who has had past trauma at dentists and it is a major trigger for him. Now he has been there 3 times so far and walks right on in. They do an amazing job and has the sweetest staff!! Get you in quickly and make sure you are taken care of. This was the best experience I have ever had for a dentist appointment! The greeting when you arrive by Mallory is a welcoming treat along with a goodie bag. I was taken on a quick tour and was blown away by the technology and the capability of everything that can be done within minutes. Charity was my hygienist and she couldn’t have been nicer, they take time to get to know you and make you feel comfortable. Dr. Duncan was extremely professional and answered all the questions that I had. This is a first class place and I will highly recommend people for there next dental appointment.

A dental practice with all the charm of an automobile dealership. I needed a new dentist that accepted Cigna insurance but this is not the place for me. I wanted to get my teeth cleaned but instead was presented with a page and a half long care plan. Maybe I need some of that work but they had everything on there but the optional undercoat package. I escaped having used up my semiannual preventative care visit but without actually having anything useful done. I was surprised that I didnt have to talk to the sales manager before they let me leave.

Ive been thoroughly satisfied with Dr. Andrews and the whole team. Each time that I have required treatment beyond a cleaning they have taken the time to explain my options thoroughly. Ive never felt talked down to, judged, or rushed. The billing is itemized and clear. I couldnt be happier with them.

I had an issue with a molar that needed to be fixed right away. We moved from out of state and didn’t have a dentist yet but they were able to fit me in this morning. I’m so blessed they were able to accommodate me! Dr. Andrews is wonderful and his assistant Brenda is a gem! They were able to make my crown in house and place it in all on one visit! Now that’s something I’ve never experienced before! I’ll be back for sure!

This was truly the best dental experience I’ve ever had. I was personally greeted when I walked in, given a tour of the facility, given a welcome gift, and given a blanket to use during the cleaning. Additionally, there was a snack bar, everyone was very friendly, and I was confident in the abilities of the dental hygienist and dentist. I cannot recommend them enough!

I was so nervous to come to the dentist because of my experiences with dentists in the past… BUT WOW. I was truly calmed by the friendly atmosphere. As a new patient there was a welcome bag with my name on it waiting for me in their private consulting room. The technician sat down with me for a few minutes before taking me back and we just talked about life. She was gentle and open with me about my teeth and the scans. Dr. Andrew’s was very soft spoken and transparent about my tooth health and options. I can’t wait to visit again!

Every step of my experience was so well orchestrated. Every person I came in contact with was professional, personable, and helpful. As a patient with high anxiety regarding dental visits, their team of professionals, from the front desk to the actual dental care to insurance processing, made it so much easier to feel comfortable and relaxed. I went in for what I thought was a cavity- and I saw Dr. Andrews for the first time and he was so great! They actually fitted it with out using molds and procuced it right there in a couple of hours. I have never seen anything so advanced. My crown fit absolutely perfectly on the first try. Yet again another great experience! The minute you walk in your are greeted with a warm welcome and from start to finish the whole thing is nice. From the calming environment of the rooms to the atmosphere. Kaitlyn and Maria were great. They were so sweet and they explained things to me so I understood what was happening, why, and what to do moving forward. One thing I like about this office is that you can tell they aren’t out to get you to spend a lot of money on pointless things or just for the hell of it. They go out of their way to make sure you’re taken care of for the long run and genuinely care about your dental hygiene and health!

From scheduling to payment - each step was seamless. I was able to be seen the day after I called to make an appointment, completed new patient intake online, and was greeted promptly by a friendly team member when I arrived. Dr. Duncan and the dental assistant, Liz, were very friendly and made my experience getting a crown very comfortable. It was a great experience overall!

I saw Dr Wood for four fillings in the front and she and her assistant were both great with me! They were both gentle and quick too. Dr Wood did excellent on the numbing injections I barely felt them at all and had zero soreness the next day... she even called me on her off day to check on me! Love this place!!

Lack of customer service. A little rain never killed anyone. If you can charge a cancellation fee if someone cancels within 48 hours of their appointment then it’s a two way street. However the double standard of this business is just plain sad. We have known about the possibility of storms for the last 5 days, and the excuse of “schools are letting out early and the governor has declared a state of emergency” doesn’t work today seeing as that was actually declared yesterday well within working hours as to where this could of been canceled yesterday and I could of re arranged other appointments and I could of worked At least half a day and only lost 125 instead of 250 for not going in today. If this is how you want to treat patients by all means I’ll take my business elsewhere because there’s more than one dentist in the city and more than one dentist that would love to have my business.
