Doctors and nurses are great. Reception doesnt answer the phone!! They are the first line of patient care, they need to do a better job.

Dr. Conger is great to work with, but the front desk staff are unfriendly and unhelpful. They always act as if you are inconveniencing them by asking for an appointment or checking in. Often difficult to get someone on the phone and the billing is inconsistent--meaning bills come at random times.

The doctors are excellent. The answering machine and reception staff are a BEAST to get through. There is a waiting list a mile long to get in. Once you get a foot in the door, the care is amazing. The only problem is, wait time. And there just aren’t enough of them to go around. They don’t have enough doctors YET so time in between appointments is VERY long. But Dr Calkins will go the extra mile to get what you need and will listen and explore every option with you. They have mental health counselors that are excellent in helping you try and deal with the mental aspect of pain management, but the time between appointments...three weeks...is so long because of the backlog of patients, that is is tough. We need MORE doctors in the area like this. ONE is NOT enough to service this large a population.

Great services here. I am happy with Mrs Patricia Sage McLean therapy sessions. They do behavior health and counseling as well as pain management. That is why it is a pain and wellness clinic. Very impressed.

I would love to give this place five stars. But unfortunately if you need to reschedule appointments because your a full time college student, working 50 hours a week it means that you show lack of commitment to your well being and youll be booted from the facility. When I told the receptionist that Ill see what I can do to make my appointment or I might have to find new services, (one that can work better with my schedule) and I hung up. I have a hectic schedule, so I checked it to see if I could make my appointment, had my boyfriend call them back to cancel it because she was rude to me before hand and made me anxious. She said that I already cancelled my appointment and that I am looking for new resources. Lost a team Ive spent months building. Thank you receptionist youre a real pal. But a serious thank you to the team that I have worked with while there I appreciate everything you have done for me and I am devastated that my time there has come to an end.

This is an incredible facility. They dont just handle pain and chronic issues, they also handle the mental health Wellness expect of it as well. Patricia McLean heads up the mental health part of the facility and make recommendations for medications and other treatment. They do prescribe medical marijuana here, but it is not somewhere that they just give it to everybody. They try other things first like CBD oil from Charlottes Web and see if that works for them. Its not somewhere that you are going to get a bunch of strong painkillers and thats why there are negative reviews I guarantee you because Ive been here and it is amazing care. Patricia McClain and Doctor Caulkins both do a fantastic job and they also have a forensic psychologist on staff who does testing and other types of treatments on patients. They also give massages and tips on how to manage your chronic pain without using just medication. So I assume anyone that has a negative review is just a drug seeker. This is a legitimate business with great Staffing and I highly recommend it.

We had the pleasure of having an appointment with Dr. Calkin. She is a very caring doctor. She took her time and explained several options for my husbands care. She has given us hope that his level of pain maybe loeered. Answered most of our questions before they where even asked. Er went home with several options to consider and are looking forward to the next visit.

Ive seen Dr Calkins twice. First visit was beyond my expectations. I had been seeing the same doctor for pain mgmt for many years. Just kept increasing the quantity of my pain reliever and my shots to relieve cervical and spinal pain just didnt work. The doc at Lourdes gave me a shot in the lower back. which Ive had before. This time he numbed the area and waited a few minutes. Makes sense, right? The other doc gave me the Lidocaine and immediately injected the meds. Obviously, it hurt. Now after a change in facility, doctor, meds, care, way shots are administered I feel cared for! She listens to me. Shes helping me. Wish my surgeon switched me to Lourdes pain mgmt sooner. Dr Calkins is giving me my life back!

I went here for pain management and was surprised to get a social worker for my visit. It was a very welcome surprise. Mrs. McLean was absolutely fabulous and assisted me in understanding the relation between mental health and physical health. She recommended therapy for me as well as a visit with the primary doctor there. Patricia McLean is the best social worker I have ever worked with. She is booked solid so if you want an appointment with her I would recommend doing it quickly. The doctor she referred me to Dr. Caulkins was also fabulous. I came for pain in my neck and I am getting weekly massages, medical marijuana and great counseling. I was glad they offered me a management for my pain as well as my anxiety as I get the indigo variety of medical marijuana which is very low THC at vireo health Johnson city. Appreciated Patricia Sage McLean Social worker very much And her help in picking out the meds for me to refer me to the doctor so it was quick and painless. I didn’t have to spend hours wAiting for a Doctor. The social worker Patricia McLean I would highly recommend as well as the rest of the staff. my neck feels great and because of the very low dose of THC and high CBD I am taking I have no ill side effects of feeling the drug. CBD has no effect that get you ““ high.” Thank you very much for giving me my life back.

Hello I am a patient of pain and wellness and my friend told me about the place and that I could get both mental health counseling and health problems handled. I recently fell off a ladder from the top wrong and injured my back and ribs. The hospitals kept giving me more and more opiate medication that was causing me to become dependent upon it. I did not like That feeling so the social worker Patricia Sage McLean social worker or Patricia McLean social worker I’m not sure what she goes by exactly but I just wanted to recommend her to anyone experiencing pain issues. They taught me that opiates are not the best management for pain and have started me at first on a very low dose of gabapentin 100mg 3x daily. It didn’t quite do the job after being on opiates so long so they raised it to 300 mg three times a day and I don’t feel overmedicated or unable to do my job as a private contractor. They also gave me a place to get pure CBD oil CBD for life or charlottes web they recommended. I am using the charlottes web tincture drops and it is working great. I don’t need the medical marijuana when I can just get it on the web and it is the best CBD on the market. They also give me weekly massages in therapy sessions. I also get Cymbalta to help manage my pain as this antidepressant is known to have anti-inflammatory and pain reducing properties. Thank you I am using the charlottes web tincture drops and it is working great. Thank you Patricia McLean and Doctor Caulkins for your professionalism and elite sources of knowledgeable material I never knew before. I feel that I will be fine on the medication prescribed for a while as I was on the hundred milligrams of gabapentin for three months before I even had to raise it. I just add the CBD and 400 mg of ibuprofen and my inflammation is gone. Don’t always go for the opiates first they are dangerous and there are so much better ways to manage your pain. They also taught me mental health is so related to your physical condition. Thank you Lourdes pain and wellness.

This Office does not have enough help. Every time we go there the women at the front desk is totally swamped and when we call the average wait time is 30 min! Once you finally do get someone to speak with they have no openings to see your Doctor.

The 1 star is because they are a step above getting care in North Korea. Also it beats having root canal work with out Novocain...but not by much.
