I do not recommend Aspen Meadows AT ALL! Do not send your loved ones there! They have done nothing but treat my mom like she is in jail. She is in there for rehab and they refuse to let her out of her room. They have not given her a shower (she has had to wash herself in her own sink), no one has washed her clothes so I had to pick them up and wash them, they didnt provide a walker when she got there until I complained about it (when she did get one it was covered in blood that she had to clean off), she is not allowed to use the exercise room or walk outside of her room (even wearing a mask), not to mention they dont even have rehab on the weekends, she had has to change her own bed, she is not allowed visitors unless you make an appointment (to which it has been impossible to do so. No one answers the phone nor do they return messages left) and when they can allow her to have visitors no touching, 6ft apart, with mask. All because she isnt vaccinated! I am beyond disgusted with this place!

I had a knee replacement at Billings Clinic I was transferred to Aspen Meadow. I stayed at the Aspen Meadow for two weeks for therapy and general care. The care I received was exemplary. The nursing staff. PT/OT were professional, courteous and kind. When I pushed the nursing button for attention the CNAs were prompt. I plan to come back to Aspen Meadow for after care after I have my future ankle replacement. I enjoyed my stay at TLC.

The meals were very good. There was not enough staff so wait times were long, sometimes the wait was so long I could not get to the bathroom in time. I was 4 days post knee replacement. I was given a child size walker, and there was no one to even extend the height. I wastold.someone would have to get to it tomorrow. My kids brought me my walker from home. There was no one available to walk with me in the hallway. So I had to walk without anyone even nearby. There were problems gettingmedications because they come fromplace else and sometimes were not available. I could reccomend this center to anyone. The staff was very kind, but stretched. Way too thin.

The staff was very helpful recently when my uncle had to be relocated to the nursing home facility from assisted living. Because of Covid, the workers had to pack up and box all the personal belongings and bring them to the entry doors. This included some heavy furniture but they did it all cheerfully and were very kind. Im sure toting dressers was NOT a part of their job description! Thanks to all who give updates on Uncle Toms ongoing care. This staff works hard to accommodate our needs.

The care is substandard because they do not have enough staff. Often there is 1 nurse and 2 CNA to take care of almost 70 patients. The CNA themselves often voice frustration that there is never enough staff. The food is not great. Dietary allergies and requests are often not honored.I also believe their isolation techniques are sub standard. It is my opinion that is what caused the recent outbreak of Covid -19 at the facility at the end of 2020.I would not choose this facility for a family until their management team can decide staff are valuable and needed at this facility. The facility responded to my review with the statement below from the owner...That was an insincere reply just to make Google readers think they are doing something about the issues. They are not. I called the number it is not the owner It was one of the nurses stations at Aspen Meadows. The nurse had no idea, obviously. She transferred me to the Social Services Director who did not answer. Once again smoke and mirrors from Aspen Meadows.I would never go back and I would never allow any of my family to go there.

I would never recommend a loved one to be placed in Aspen Meadows. Staff was not forthcoming with progress of patient. I had to call to get any information. Staff was not cordial on the phone. Call button for patient help was not readily answered.

Horrible facility......not enough space to write all the neglectful shortfalls this place has and we have seen firsthand on a daily basis for the past two years. From management on down. Cant get the state or the local ombudsman to return a call either. Where is the help for elder care in this state?Very sad for the residents.....very poor care! Suffice to say if you care for your loved one.....DO NOT place them at Aspen Meadows.

The new administration is cutting costs to the bare bones. Care of the residents is in decline. They may or may not be bathed. The supplies in use are of the poorest quality. Tissue so small its useless. There is a serious lack of continuity of staff. This a good sign of how the facility is operating.

Failure of cna time to ambulate rehab patients on several occasions. Housekeeping did a very poor job due to understaffing we were told. These past 2 weeks we were told many times they were working short and didnt have time to give a shower.. My mother went 13 days with No bed change or shower!!! Call lights were not answered in a timely manner on several occasions and pain pills not delivered 2 different times in less than 45 min!! I would NEVER recommend this facility to anyone....

October 2017 I came in for an interview after meeting with rory in HR he and I hit it off fairly well. I was interviewed by the brand new administrator(middle aged woman) and director of nursing(late 20s female apparently no longer employed). They start to read my application and outright laughed at me saying it was ridiculous for me to apply at their facility with only two months of cna experience. That was the whole interview, administrator then sits down refusing my hand shake asks me if I have any questions before I leave, quite smugly. Now I wanted this job so I asked her how long shed been working at the facility to which she replied 30 days or less with a carefree chuckle. The director of nursing gives me this story about how she was a new nurse but most of their RNs had left with the old owners so she had become the donAnd yes she was qualified so I shouldnt ask. Unsure how to proceed i asked what shifts were available they said they didnt know, but they could find out if they REALLY needed to. So I guess theyre not hiring me. Just to be polite I asked them what their favorite part of working at Aspen Meadows was they looked at each other and after an uncomfortably long pause the administrator gave me a speech about how its not uncommon after a buyout for there to be a new administration so they dont know anything about the facility yet.. ok? Finally I ask why I should consider their facility over other facilities hiring CNAs and they both throw their hands over their head and cheer because were the best! And high five giggling. No more questions from me, I was not offered a position. Recently I applied after hearing about management changes and 2 weeks after my initial voicemail was told by an angry Rory that We spoke once before and I have no position for you Sir!(They are still hiring)

We couldnt move my mother out of this facility fast enough. The night nurse named Karma was absolutely the poorest excuse for an RN that I could ever imagine. On our first night there, she told me that some of moms medicine hadnt arrived out of Washington state yet, so she would not be getting some of her nighttime meds--one which included a pain patch. What kind of facility does not have an incoming patients medicine on hand??? My brother stayed overnight that night in the room with mom, and at 2:30 AM the nurse came in and told my brother that she had already given mom her pain meds. That was a blatant lie. A few nights later, the same nurse told me that mom was not scheduled for Gabapentin pain medicine at nighttime. I knew this to be false because the doctor told me that she was upping the milligrams on the gabapentin at night. Once again no pain meds for mom at night. A few hours later, Karma came in with some pills for mom and she asked me if she should give these to my mom. Not knowing what these medicines were, I couldnt believe this was a question she was asking me. Shes the nurse, for Gods sake! The next day, Karma explained to me that she was looking at the day screen on her computer and not the night screen so thats why she didnt know mom got nighttime pain meds. Another excuse for incompetence. I called the director of nursing the next day to air my concerns. He asked why I was calling instead of seeing him in person to complain. I explained that I was at work and couldnt make it in that morning. Odd question, I thought. After detailing Karmas performance, he reassured me that mom would not be under the care of Karma any longer. Again, another lie. The next night, who is moms nurse?? Karma. A few days later, another one of my brothers called me at 10:00 PM to say that the night nurse told him that they were out of moms medicine and what should he do? He said the nurse started to cry and threw her hands up in the air and said, I need a break! Yes, again, it was Karma on shift. I was at the facility first thing the next morning to speak to the director of nursing. I expressed my frustration that nothing seemed to change with Karma and her inexcusable behavior and incompetence--this after he had told me that she wouldnt be moms nurse any longer..... In response, he screamed at me complaining that he had only been hired recently and what was he to do. He was confrontational and oppositional. Not how management should treat a paying customer. I then went to confront Karma about my brothers experience with her the previous night, and she denied everything. No big surprise. Our family had felt we had done our due diligence in checking out different facilities. Our first choice was St. Johns Rehab, but they were full at the time mom was discharged from the hospital. After calling and explaining to the admissions directors at St. Johns about our horrendous experience at Aspen Meadows, she worked hard to get my mom into their facility. From the top management down, Aspen Meadows needs to develop a culture of understanding and commitment to patient care. They have a long way to go before that occurs, and for the well being of current and future patients, I hope it happens sooner rather than later.

My mother waited on several occasions for more than an hr for pain pills and/or anti-nausea med and we were told it was because they were busy. Call lights not answered and I,myself assisted my mom to bed each night! Rooms not clean and tv not working...heater not functioning so I had to bring in extra blankets for my mom even after voicing my complaint numerous times. The aides stated they didnt like working there and it took 2 days to remove my moms PICC line! One nurse didnt know how to do it and the other said my mother wouldnt hold still! Unbelievable...never will we recommend this facility but Advanced Care Hospital said it was the only one available for my mom at the time. I spent 10 hrs a day there just to ensure my mother was taken care of..2 different days she said she overslept and didnt have any breakfast.. My mother was miserable there and cried for me to take her home!
