I went in for an MRI this morning at 9:00 the staff was very friendly and helpful. I only waited 5 minutes until I was called back in. Great job done by the entire staff. The gentleman doing my MRI was very helpful and reassuring ( I suffer from (claustrophobia) I cannot stress enough how impressed I was. 1 1/2 hours after my MRI I RECEIVED MY RESULTS. AGAIN VERY IMPRESSED. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TOUCHSTONE IMAGING.THANKS Michael Hecker.

I had already scheduled an MRI at the hospital in 3 weeks and they couldn’t tell me how much it would cost but estimated around $2,000. Touchstone was about 1/3 that so I cancelled my appointment and asked my doctor to transfer my MRI to Touchstone. They got me in the next day and my tech, Dana, was outstanding! She explained how everything worked and answered some concerns I had about the contrast dye. I won’t sugarcoat the MRI machine itself though — that beast is noisy!

When I called touchstone to schedule my scans, I asked about my cartilage piercings in my ears and was told they may be okay to leave in, but the staff member I spoke to said she would ask, and would call me back and let me know if I needed to remove them (so I could go to a shop to do so as I don’t have the tools). Since I didn’t get the call, and have had scans done with them before, I assumed they were fine and left them in. Upon my arrival the front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming, and it was a pleasant waiting room as well (which is why I’m giving it 2 stars instead of 1).However, when they got me back for my scan the tech asked me to remove my piercings. I said I couldn’t and didn’t realize they needed to be removed. She was a bit belittling and made a comment along the lines of “I would think if you’re spending so much money on this test you’d at least want to get the best picture you can.” Again, I wasn’t informed I needed to remove these when I called to schedule.While getting me ready to go into the machine, the tech offered music or plain ear plugs, so I chose music. After struggling to get the ear buds to stay in the tech complained “this is why I hate it when patients choose music.” Which left me feeling bad for asking. I understand it may have been an off day but all in all I wasn’t impressed and probably won’t choose Touchstone again.
