Lisa has been absolutely amazing to work with for business coaching! Her enthusiasm is infectious and you can tell from the beginning that she is committed to you becoming the best business professional you can be and earning more. She is always learning herself and imparting that knowledge to her clients so that they can try new techniques and continue to grow!

Needs to find another profession. When you are speaking to a professional business woman and you decide the best thing for her to do is COLOR on a piece of paper about her feelings. What a joke.Good for a laugh but I wouldn’t send anyone here I know. Left my appointment before the halfway mark.

As someone who has been repeatedly and consistently burned by the mental health care system in this state, Lisa has been a godsend. I have found her to be both trustworthy and easy to talk to, someone who actually listens and helps. She is friendly, approachable, and does not talk down to me; we are on equal footing. I would, and do, recommend her, especially for those distrustful. Patience of a saint and a truly compassionate soul.

Reaching out to a therapist means you need help and support. It is not easy to do and yet, when you do, it gives you hope. At a very dark time, I reached out to this therapist. She responded with an appointment time that would not work. I messaged her that an earlier time would work better for me as I live an hour away and it gets dark early in winter.I never got a response. After a week, I sent her an email expressing concern and disappointment at not having had a response. This is what she replied:“ I am sorry that I didn’t reply that was rude of me. However, I am booked up at this time. Sorry.”Rude? No! Unprofessional. She could not bother to reply to a person reaching out for help. How can you be a therapist when you clearly can’t be bothered. Ugh! Talk about making a person feel insignificant!

Lisa has provided very compassionate assistance to me. Her counseling has been helpful and has taught me the tools that I can use over and over again. I would recommend Lisa to anyone who feels totally alone and needs someone to talk to. Someone who can help lift spirits and find life worth living again.

I had two sessions with this therapist and that was enough to determine that she was not a good fit for me. Lisa did not show up for my second appointment, which triggered my anxiety, something I was seeking treatment for. She also showed an overt amount of body language in my sessions, such as eye-rolling, which I felt further spiked my anxiety and put the attention of the session around my reactions to her body language rather than my reasons for being in therapy. The night before my (technically) third appointment, I received a very strange text from Lisa asking to let her know if I would be canceling, which I felt was very strange given the no-show to my second appointment. I was given a bag of coffee for my lost time, although I stated that I didn’t drink coffee when offered. Though I can understand her personal reasons behind having her cell phone with her in appointments, my entire first appointment she was off and on her phone which was very distracting to me and unfair to a client paying $150 to be there for an hour.I did not feel that my time was respected, I felt that my issues were not important to Lisa, which is a pretty sour taste to leave a therapy appointment with. I felt that I was being rushed out at the ends of my appointments. To top it all off, when I texted to cancel my next appointment, despite texting me previously, she asked who I was. At that point I knew, without a doubt, I made the right choice.I am grateful for the butterfly hug technique that I was given, as it gave me a taste of what it was once like to feel and experience as I did when I was a child. Overall I am grateful that I was shown so quickly that it was time for me to move on and I hope that this review helps others who are sensitive to distractions to better choose their therapist. We go to therapy for healing and I feel it is very important to hold that space, without judgment and without distraction, and I expect that from professional therapists who are trained in walking with people through some of life’s toughest traumas and tribulations. I did not find that here.
