I rarely ever ever write reviews. Only when I think my experience would be extremely useful to other people. I could not be more pleased by the Towfigh team from the start to my first 3 weeks after surgery. I had Dr Towfigh mesh removal from a bad reaction to a (sub par) inguinal hernia mesh done with a doctor in Miami. My first experience was a MRI that she literally walked me through every spec of the MRI showing me where I was having problems - she was spot on and during the surgery another hernia hidden below was discovered. She removed the mesh and put a different type of mesh in. While I am still in recovery the team has been extremely helpful in helpping me through the process. They are amazing, skilled and the Goat of hernia repair. Tom Brady would be proud!. If you are looking for the cheapest, well you get what you pay for. Life changing team and much gratitude to Dr Towfigh and everyone who works with her. If nothing else, get her to look at your issues. True Fixers!

Compassion, skill, caring. Shes everything you want out of your doctor and surgeon, no reason to go anywhere else

Dr. Towfigh is the best hernia surgeon and I am so happy I had my surgery done with her. She was highly recommended by one of my professors. I have zero pain now and no scars. Office staff is super nice as well.

2 years post-op, I can confidently say this doctor/surgeon is very skilled. I had gone through 3 failed hernia repairs in the same spot, each from different doctors and each mesh failed within a year. Dr. Shirin was able to assess and provide the best solution for my situation. Yes, it is expensive. However the price I paid to not have to worry about another failed operation is well worth it in my opinion. In my experience, she was caring and thorough and never rushed my appointments. I appreciate the time and care she put into my case. Thank you!

First impression she is so nice and sweet and you would think that she care and professional BUT as other people who already did the surgery or know her for more then just a “visit” this is not a Doctor this is a Snake smiling to you knowing she only care about money.Not professional and not honest - this is the two important things you’re looking on someone that will cut you open.Shirin - You Are Such a Fake Person

There are not enough words for me to express my gratitude for Dr. Towfigh! She was brought on to assist my general surgeon & what a gift that was. Aside from her immense skill & experience, she brought warmth & the most amazing bedside manner. I had unwisely put off my surgery for years out of fear, her meticulous explanation of the process & general kindness put me at ease. After my consultation with her, I left with a sense of calm & absolute confidence that my fears were unfounded. My surgery was an resounding success & I am recovering faster than expected.

The worst doctor ever! Performed unnecessary hernia surgery, misdiagnosed condition, didnt listen to her patient and took $3,000. in cash before she would agree to surgery. Her office has a revolving door. She only cares about money, not her patients. Very dishonest.
