A doctor without a heart. To intimidate an already seriously ill patient with an even more serious diagnosis, and then offer him assistance in treatment, is at least inhuman.

Dr. Marina Vaysburd is outstanding!Five Stars. Highest rating.Earlier this year, My husband was diagnosed with adenocarcinoma of sigmoid colon and his world went spinning. Dr. Marina Vaysburd was an answer to a prayer. She is the perfect mix of professional, confident and incredibly competent... while also being totally relatable, warm and caring.Dr. MarinaVaysburd is a very good listener knowledgeable thorough and kind. It was like we had been friends for years. She reviewed the images and compared them to last years and explained post-surgery results thoroughly and used easy examples when explaining what inside and how things work. And Important! She listens to her patients--something far more rare than it should be in the medical field. And she doesnt ever dismiss concerns, answers questions thoroughly. And as result she makes your priorities, her priorities.Dr Marina Vaysburd throughout all our interactions with her, she has always been highly professional, supportive and extremely thorough. And if she sees a problem, she will address it immediately and thoroughly. Again, without causing fear mongering. The follow ups are awesome as well. She will schedule tests on even intervals, and you would never feel abandoned with your disease and concerns while the world continues its jolly turn - she always makes time to return our calls and answer our questions.About office staff. Every person my husband encountered with Dr. Marina Vaysburd at Cedars-Sinai Medical Group Oncology - from his first phone call to ask questions... to his last follow up - was wonderful. They were true *health care professionals*. Every communication before, during and after this process reflected their gold standard of patient care. Everything you need when dealing with an issue like cancer.Thank you greatly Dr Marina Vaysburd! We thank you all. My husband has healed really well and I am very grateful to you all. He has never felt a lack of care. Excellent experience and great place.I highly recommend Dr. Marina Vaysburd.

My History!in December 2019 after surgery, I heard the words “You had cancerous tumor”. When my wife and I met 49 years ago on the dance floor at a sports bar, she had no idea that het husband would be faced with the deadliest form of cancer. I’ve always wished better for her. Who was I going to talk to about cancer and chemotherapy? What if I had a reaction? What if it didn’t work? I’m only a patient, not a doctor, but ive noticed that a lot of people seem very frightened of chemotherapy. And I didn’t have the chemo nurses to answer my questions …At the first time I saw Dr. Marina Vaysburd, M.D. when I left the hospital after surgery. I read enthusiastic reviews about Dr. Marina Vaysburd and and it is true. She is Honest, Professional, Knowledgeable. Extensively explains all alternatives, so her patients can make the best educated decision for themselves - it made me feel comfortable.Dr. Marina Vaysburd offered eight back-to-back cycles chemo which I finished a week ago. The drug I was on is Cisplatin which is derived from Platinum which I had every three weeks. I read up on all the possibilities of side effects so nothing came as a surprise, other than the joy that many of them did not affect me at all. The first chemo cycle is the most frightening as no-one can predict your response but, after that, it all becomes a matter of expected reactions and something to work through to, hopefully, a positive result. And just dont panic if you feel ill the first day! My advice is tell the medics if things are bad, they are not psychic, so wont know things are difficult if you dont tell them. Once the dosage was adjusted and side effects were few, I liked the idea of oral chemo. My experience with Dr. Marina Vaysburd was consistently empowering. I was part of the decision-making process at every step of the way. Her Care Team was exactly that—a team of caring people—and I made lifelong friends with patients and employees. In short, Dr. Marina Vaysburd helped me transition from feeling like a victim to becoming a fighter, a survivor and a health care advocate.Having the chemo was no problem at all for me, no pain just boring having to sit there for 5 hrs as a day patient. The hospital staff were wonderful and so kind. The chemo nurses are brilliant and they will take very good care of you. I did not feel any side effects, no falling hair, no nausea and it seems everything was just normal.I finished chemo in May. I am hoping never to have to repeat the experience, but I know that I wont be scared if I do. Only time will tell how it all works out but I have no regrets about doing the chemo.Yesterday I had a CT scan and Dr. Marina Vaysburd told I haven’t cancer. The delight I felt when my CT scan, showed that all was going well, was a joyous moment and the nurses shared my delight and pleasure with me.Thank you Dr. Marina Vaysburd! Highly Recommended!
