Poorly trained when it comes to plastic surgery. Doesn’t have an aesthetic eye. You will need revision surgery when it comes to his cosmetic work. And you will then need to go to another surgeon to fix his revision work. His office is filthy and not what an office performing surgeries should appear like. It’s not sterile. Staff is poorly trained or maybe not even qualified? I had the patient coordinator (Natasha) act as my nurse and remove my IV in a surgery room without sterile clothing and without gloves. Also disposed of my IV in a regular trash can. All around unprofessional. Dr. Obeng is the most unethical Dr I have come across. You can request a surgery, (silicone under the muscle) pay top dollar and get Tijuana surgery (saline implants/over the muscle) he’s a fraud and doesn’t give you what you ask for or pay for. Also good luck retrieving your medical records. They will procrastinate and continually lie about sending them. You will have to contact the California medical board to retrieve what is rightfully yours. Truly disgusting that this Dr is a Dr in Beverly Hills. Los Angeles has great Drs to choose from that don’t have to pay a PR team to promote themselves as a “renowned top surgeon”. It’s comical. Visit real top Drs in LA, Dr. Ashland Ghavami, Dr. Ben Talei, Dr. Jason Diamond, Dr. Michael Omidi, Dr. Paul Nassif, Dr. Raj Konidia. Like Dr. Ghavami said, Beverly Hills is very small and all top plastic surgeons know each other and know of the bad ones (frauds!) save your money, do your research and go to a qualified, ethical Dr that won’t scam you or butcher you.

THIS is the kind of doctor I would like to work on me should I ever need it! The respect of integrity and kindness is what gives me hope for the world as it is seemingly in short supply. Thank You.

I have been a patient of Dr. Michael Obeng since 2016. I met him during my process of interviewing drs. for a procedure I was looking into. While most of the drs. were nice enough, Dr. Obeng was the only one that greeted me with “How can I help you?” upon meeting me for the first time. He immediately made me feel at ease, he explained the procedure, the recovery, the aftercare and everything else that the procedure required. He then personally toured me the surgery center. The comfort he provided me during my initial consultation, immediately made me feel at home. I decided then my search for a dr. was over. The day of my surgery, my arrival time was 6:00 AM, while I showed up sleepy and grumpy, he showed up refreshed and ready to work. The procedure was successful. The recovery was exactly as he said. I’ve since gone back for not one, not two, not three, but FOUR procedures. All have been done with the exact same care. And if I need something else, I’ll go back to Dr. Obeng for sure! Do yourself a favor. Just go for a consultation! It’s life changing. But besides his excellent skills as a dr., his humanitarian work speaks for itself. With his R.E.S.T.O.R.E FOUNDATION, he travels to underprivileged countries around the world, takes a full staff, and he treats and operates on these patients, at no cost to the patient, who without his help, would never live to their full capacity. He goes on these missions 2-3 times a year, and has helped 1000’s of patients around the world. He truly is a healer.
