I have had three artificial disc surgeries with Dr. Lanman and he is hands down the Doctor to go to if you have spine issues. I love this man and his staff; so grateful to have found him. I am still able to run everyday and lead a very active lifestyle. Zero complaints and I have referred many people to him and he has changed their life as well. You arent allowed to retire Dr. Lanman!

I had a previous neck surgery that was severely damaged in an auto accident and caused more damage than the original surgery addressed. I had terrible nerve pain and numbing as well as severe loss of strength in my left arm. I live out of state so first explored my options with local surgeons. I received the opinion of several of the alleged best Drs in Denver. Most wanted to do a full fusion which would have compromised my active lifestyle. 2 of them would not even address the previous neck surgery because they didnt know how. None of this was an acceptable solution to me so I started further research. I found Dr. Lanman when I searched for fusion reversals and man am I happy I did. I had an initial phone call with him to discuss, I had a ton of questions as to his processes and why he was able offer solutions that nobody else would. He spent over 30 minutes answering everything and never made me feel like any questions was not important. I decided to move forward with Dr. Lanman and they had me scheduled within a couple weeks. My initial face to face consultation was very thorough as he explained what he would be doing a couple days later. Again he spent over an hour with me as I peppered him with questions and concerns. He informed me post surgery that he encountered some unexpected issues but he handled it. We are now about 6 months removed from the surgery and I have not felt this good in 15 years. I no longer have the severe symptoms that I had even after my first surgery. He successfully removed all the old hardware and replaced it with new discs. I cannot express my gratitude enough to the amazing staff and the rockstar Dr. Lanman for getting me back to a pain free active lifestyle that I never thought I would have again, you and your team truly are the best.

Dr. Lanman Review:Graduation Day happened for me on July 28, 2020 at approximately 3:00 in the afternoon when I woke for the first time and my back pain was gone! I had been a member of the “Bad Back Club” for almost 4 years and it’s not one you ever want to join. I have a handful of friends in the club with me and I’m encouraging them all to call Dr. Lanman ASAP. Back pain is miserable - your quality of life is challenged, you are always on edge and it’s not fair to your family and loved ones to have to live this misery with you. I have had 3 laminectomies over the past 25 years that led to my 2 lower vertebrae basically being bone on bone causing difficulties doing the simplest of tasks. If I wasn’t laying down (the only way I could get relief) then I was hurting to some degree. I heard about Dr. Lanman from a friend. The first time we spoke and he saw my films, he gave me hope. DOES NOT FOLLOW/ENFORCE COVID SAFETY PROTOCOLS: Despite public building signage requiring masks, social distancing, etc., and common sense, Dr. Lanman and his practice do not follow COVID safety protocols. In an effort to justify their careless behavior, two staff members told me all staff were fully vaccinated, that Dr. Lanman does not enforce mask wearing. As I waited, double masked myself, in waiting area for my appointment with Dr. Cuellar, I observed one staff member walking the halls mask-less, two patients emerging mask-less from an exam room and chat with a staff member in the hallway, AND Dr. Lanman himself mask-less! They obviously do not care for the safety of their patients. No COVID pre-screen was offered prior to my visit, as my many health care providers require. The unsafe behavior I noticed only assures that no other safety precautions are taken such as sanitizing, hand washing, etc. I told the assistant I felt unsafe, and left without seeing the doctor.

There are BETTER and far more experienced Surgeons than this unkind and arrogant clown.

Best surgeon I have ever had. Being an ex athlete, Ive had many injuries, culminating in some significant back issues and disc degeneration. I never wanted surgery and Todd never pushed it on me, we both did our utmost to avoid it, that is, until the situation became unbearable for me. I felt I had to act as I did not want to settle for a partially functioning body. After the procedure (two discs replaced) I was out of pain immediately, and within days I was walking distances confidently. The guy is amazing. Talk to other surgeons and health practitioners, they will all tell you how good he is. Im so glad I put my trust in him. He is a rockstar in the profession and he has given me a new lease on life.

Dr Lanman placed a Pro-Disc in me as you see in this photo, improperly. Then instead of fixing it, he abandoned me. Ive been in 10+++ pain 24 hours a day since and have had to have further surgery. Destroyed my life.

Todd Lanman is not your average surgeon, he changed my life after fixing another doctors mistakes. I carefully researched for the best surgeon before choosing Todd Lanman, Im glad I did as he proved he is. He corrected a failed fusion that no other other doctor would touch. He went over my images for 1 hour something no other doctor has done before and I was thoroughly impressed and thankful for his work. He also found bone spurs in my lower back that no other doctor noticed. If your looking for the best of the best Todd Lanman is it.

Dr. Lanman was hands down the best doctor Ive ever had! I was in great hands with him! He was The most caring and knowledgeable Doctor! I feel truly blessed to be in his care and after being with many prior neurosurgeons Dr Lanman was able to quickly evaluate and explain to me exactly what was happening in my back! Going to my first consultation and him spending OVER two hours with me and getting to know me and looking over all of my images every which way! I was truly astonished! Today I wrote a second thank you note directly to the greatest doctor in the whole world Todd H. Lanman, who become the hero of my family because he gave me back my life back. I am not exaggerating an inch.My name is Flor Berbey, I live in Panama City, Central America. Twelve years ago In has three fusions... That was the most they could put in my neck all of my disc were broken and damaged.After the surgery I felt some relief but I was still having medium pain. the pain start increasing year by year.. I start taking pain killers to maintain myself on track, working, doing exercise, being a mother, being an entrepreneur, doing charity help etc but the pain and the weight increase year by year and started to limit my body.The doctors in my country told me that I had fibromialgia.One day my friend called Marta told me about his operation. She said she got operated and next day after the surgery she wanted to go shopping.I ask Marta the phone number and one day I calles the clinic. The doctor told me to send an MRI by DHL.The extrangest thing is that others doctors in Panama saw the same MRI I send to Todd and they say I was fine.My next conversation on the phone with Dr. Todd was amazing!!!He saw the MRI and told me:Flor... I Think there is a broken screw but I am not sure. Please do this other exam in Panama. I will travel to Panamá to get my panamanian ID we called it CEDULA and I will see your case there.The day he arrived to Panama I set an appointment with him at his house at the beach. The house was super beautiful and his wife Gretchen was like an Angel. They both received me and my husband with great joy!He revised my case and in ten second he show me not only a broken screw with a fisure but also he show me two more that were out of place.He ask me how could I live with so much pain for so long (12 years) to be exact. How could nobody told to do this test in Panama after the surgery?? Your problem is the two of the three fusions you had never healed and the bone never grew. He said Flor I will Fix You. I said I had no insurance and he said not to worry about the money and he gave me a super good cost. He said you dont have to stay at the hospital, you go to a hotel near my clinic with some anti inflamatories and pain killers and I will revise you as you need it. I felt my eyes full of tears.For the first tima In felt hope and my husband told me Flor we go together that Clinic, I have the feeling that Dr Todd is going to fix your new and cured you.The rest is history... a two hour operation with the best care and love of doctors and nurses of the world were around me and all of them FIX Me.It s been one and a half month after the operation and there is no pain.I just finished working on a big event as a producer 18 hours a day and the only thing that hurts are my feet because I was standing many many hours.I feel I am doing my regular life... As if a were 25 and I am 53.I am very proud that there are persons like him still in this world!!GOD BLESS YOU DR TODD

I have suffered for most of my life with back pain after having been rear ended 13 times beginning at age 26. Over the years I got to a place where walking was out of the question. I had spent years in physical therapy and with chiropractors as well as ongoing pharmaceutical interventions. I also had many nerve blocks and injections. Life was tough but I persevered.Finally, the sky opened and the gods were with me. I found myself in Dr. Lanmans office. He literally changed the course of my life. His warm effusive energy and my awareness that I was finally in the right hands was like a miracle.After a lengthy and complicated surgery complete with hardware and deft hands, I can walk without pain and, although later in my life, I feel as though my life has just begun. I express my gratitude to him every morning when I rise from my bed pain free. He is my angel without wings.

Been threw 4 surgeries with Dr Lanman and I definitely half to say he is the most compassionate and not a Dr who rushes you into surgery right away... he talks and takes his time I wouldnt trust anyone else since I choose him as my dr.... you wont regret it

Shameful and devastating. Anyone considering surgery with Dr. Todd Lanman needs to read what he did to me. Firstly, he cut off my back bones because he said “I don’t need them“. God believed I needed them and built every human being with backbones. Before surgery I told Dr Lanman not to cut off my back bones. I emphasized “do not cut off my back bones”. But he did without my consent! Dr Lanman, I DID need my back bones. Leaving people without backbones is amputating a persons body part and throwing it away. I needed that body part. I’m suffering with even worse spine fusion deformity ever since. The other thing Dr Lanman did to me was implanted unnecessarily an old prosthesis above my fusion. But he implanted where it was sticking out of my spine and poking into my esophagus! I’ve been living in this condition now for 6 1/2 years. The third thing Dr Lanman did was reconstructed and reattached a massive, gigantic Fascia dehiscence caused by UCLA medical center and Dr. Langston Holly (Who abandoned me with major surgical complications they caused) but he did so without immobilizing me. The next day a negligent physical therapist only 19 hours after Dr Lanman surgery on me, while I’m still in the ICU, has me do a push-up all by myself out of my hospital bed, and it ripped violently all of the fascia Dr Lanman had just re-constructed. 35 inches of my fascia in fact! The hospital neglected to tell Dr Lanman and Dr. Lanman did not believe me despite my numerous phone calls to him from the hospital, from home, from my mom and dad, the multiple times I told him my fascia ripped by the negligent physical therapist, he did nothing about it. Then six months later he noticed I had a massive hole in my back, then he saw that my Sasha had indeed ripped. He should’ve attended to it right away before it had retracted around my shoulder blade. Then Dr Lanman went maniacal. He started moving his knees back-and-forth and prepped me for a new surgery wanting to fuse me all the way down to the middle of my back with a big Harrington rods, which she demanded I pay $60,000 for, and that he did not take any form of health insurance. When I went to go for my pre-op appointment to try to understand why I needed such long rods in my spine, Debbie the office manager or Deborah they call her, called me while I’m in the elevator going up to the appointment and told me not to come in. Mind you they wanted to charge me $800 for the appointment as well. She told me Dr Lanman canceled my appointment, and sent me a letter to a wrong address that I never received, saying that they no longer will provide care for me. After all this surgical damage, and post surgical damage, Dr. Todd Lanman Abandoned me and left me searching for repair or elsewhere. It has left me in this intractable, painful and disabled condition for 6 1/2 years now worsening, with massive muscle diastases, spine fusion deformity, a subsided prosthesis ProDisc sticking out of my spine into my esophagus. I was referred to see reconstructive plastic surgeons to get the massive muscle diastases and rupture repaired. One specific reconstructive plastic surgeon, Dr. Malcolm Lesavoy said he needed Dr Lanman to work with him to repair me. The plastic surgeon sent multiple letters to Dr Lanman‘s office begging him to fix me with him. Dr Lanman ignored dr. Malcolm Lesavoy‘s letters. Then Dr. Malcolm Lesavoy tried to fix me himself, but to no avail. I am now even worse because I did not have Dr Lanman or a spine surgeon to work with Dr Lesavoy to repair the back of my spine. How spineless and cowardice of Dr Lanman to abandon his patient after devastating postsurgical complications, in my opinion and experience. Anyone searching for a good surgeon is not going to find it in America. The American surgeons are more interested in lining their pockets and enriching themselves, then they are patient care. I met Dr. Lanman after a horrific train crash in Germany. The cheerful ,tall, Dr,....was yet to be reviewed by me. Since the crash ,I had become pretty good at first impressions. There was no time to waste as i had been bent over double ,for months, trying to find a Dr that I could trust ,to operate on me, from top to bottom,literally.I am terrified,alone,And need to start treatment or ill probably have permanent damage,maybe never walk again. First office visit.The staff was very nice polite and truly caring. The nurses remembering my name,which calms me, listening and writing my every concern. asking questions of me,very impt.In minutes Dr.Lanman walks in, reads quickly thru those impt notes ,sits down and ,ask me in a soothing ,compassionate tones,my concerns.(He had already looked at all my reports and films before he came in)explained his thoughts for a amazing treatment,of which,when done ,I WOULD be able to walk.We laughed.I cried.Out of seeing 8 of the best Drs o in the U.S., I found the very best. THE VERY BEST GO SEE HIM. You wont find better. Oh and bring some sushi for him from me. God Bless you all
