Great experience, took about 15 minutes to get the molds done and about 3-4 weeks to get em shipped. The earplugs are great! Got the -25, absolutely perfect for what i needed it for, wouldnt mind having an even more cancelling one -- perhaps -35/40 if those options become available from the manufacturer.

Ive just hit the one year mark since I started working with Julie. My hearing is significantly impaired, to the extent that I completely rely upon hearing aids to be able to converse in person or via phone.My previous provider (also in Beverly Hills) sold me rebranded aids, which can only be adjusted and serviced by their office. The primary purpose for the rebranding is to restrict price shopping and make it hard to move to another audiologist. Its a scummy thing to do. Further, as my hearing deteriorated and conversations became more and more difficult, they told me that there were no options for me. The aids I had were the best in existence and could not be improved upon at any price.This necessarily led me to seek other opinions and options. And thus to Julie. She was initially concerned about whether she could help after we tested my hearing. But we discussed all the options, tested many of them, and she was ultimately able to fit me with SUBSTANTIALLY better aids. And we further explored a half dozen devices that could be used with my aids to further improve my ability to hear and converse in various situations. I bought and use most of them.Its difficult to convey how much of a difference this has made in my life. I can hear my wife and family. I can attend and enjoy concerts. I can function and effectively communicate in my work environment. All of this was in question when I met Julie. I am deeply grateful and wholeheartedly recommend her.

I went with JH Audio’s 13V2 PRO and with Julie’s listening experience of trying all of the high-end brands I was absolutely sure as to what I was going to spend my money on. The customs came in about 2 weeks after and they sounded exactly like the universal fit Julie had in her office. I hear a lot of stories of Musician’s hating their in-ears-monitors because they don’t know what their going to get until the final mold is sent to them. My son and I visited Musicians Hearing Solutions on 12/2/19 to order custom IEMs. Dr. Julie Glick was very professional and knowledgeable on the IEM and the impression process, since I had no clue on how all of this works. She explained the impression process and was gentle during the process while she injected the mold into his ears. The impressions came out perfect and we also purchased IEM from Dr. Glick. My son picked out the JH brand and placed the order. Very easy process and Dr. Glick was amazing!Update 1/3/20: Today, my son and I met Dr. Julie Glick to pick up his custom IEMs. Dr. Glick and my son went over the IEM and helped him put them into his ears and went over the basics. She was also able to tell what was loss from sound exposure and what was probably due to infections or other biological causes and also further referred me to an excellent otologist for further investigation for the latter. I went to Dr. Glick for custom musicians earplugs. I am a musician and have tinnitus and am religious about protecting my hearing from further damage (I only wish Id done so when I was younger!). She did a hearing test and compared them with historical measurements that I provided to look for any degradation in my hearing. At my request, I asked Dr. Glick to make the plugs as long as possible to minimize the occlusion effect, which she did very accurately. A few weeks later, the earplugs were ready and fit perfectly. They are MUCH more comfortable than the universal fit plugs I have been using, and those werent bad to begin with. I havent had a chance to try them in a loud environment yet, but Im expecting them to be great.

I was looking for in-ear-monitors (I ended buying the Ultimate Ears) as well as earpieces for 2 way radios. Dr. Glick made the molds and they both fitted perfectly the first time. While speaking with her about hearing issues I had. Dr. Glick recommended that she should do a hearing test which would show us the status of my hearing health. After we did the test, she insisted I visit an otologist. I ended up seeing a different ENT(who was recommend to me but he said nothing was wrong), however the problem persisted. Dr. Glick insisted again I visit the ear specialist she recommended and he fixed the problem on the first visit and restored my hearing. Julie’s years of experience and expertise changed my quality of life. I highly recommend her if you have any hearing issues or need in-ear-monitors.

It’s all about the fit, and the overall experience (speed, service, knowledge). If you need custom full or half sleeves for your IEMs, then look no further.Dr G was fantastic and now I have even better sound from my Shure KSE1500 *and* from a pair of Shure SE215. Compare those two models if unfamiliar - that’s best possible sound AND ~35dB of passive noise cancellation from both the highest and lowest ends of the Shure IEM product line - enhanced by 2 new pairs of well-fitting sleeves (full for the 1500s, half for the 215s).Yeah, I’m a happy camper, and have equally happily recommended Dr G to numerous audiophiles, various industry types, and a raft of casual listeners since. It’s pretty easy since the conversation usually starts with “Hey, what are those?” :)
