Joan is kind and compassionate. She listens and she asks clarifying questions. She is real. She can laugh with you and she can be patient while you cry. Joan will ask you the questions that will lead you to your own answers. She doesnt push her own opinions. Ive always left her office feeling lighter and with a sense of hope.

We have seeing Joan for 9 years. She is great! She has helped us tremendously in our marriage. I highly recommend her.

She is not a good therapist, she will most likely take the side of a woman if you go for marriage counseling. She is not loyal to her clients. My wife and I were going through a divorce (we were married barely 2 yrs) and I had known Joan for a long time. She stopped seeing me and took over just seeing my wife. I feel she helped my wife decide on the divorce instead of working through it.
