(Read the ending something everyone needs to be aware about and I proved myself innocent! Lengthy review but certainly need to show my experience) —I’ve been clean since taking my very first dose here. Sounds like a miracle if you’re an addict. Rehabs have never worked. I stayed away from methadone because rehabs will tell you, “it’s bad, you’re not really “clean” or it doesn’t work and you’ll be dependent on another thing. Well that’s better then dying? Just like a diabetic takes meds to survive we do too. That’s okay! It’s a proven fact that methadone works far far better then rehab. Only 5 percent of people after leaving rehab stay clean.. around 90 percent on methadone stay clean. That’s a no brainer to me. You’ll get people here who aren’t doing the right thing so they complain how much they hate the place. Ask anyone who’s doing what their suppose to do and are clean and the response is night and day. Maybe the hours for workers.. but that’s not the staffs fault.also little things that are nothing to the bigger picture. All the staff are amazing. The counselors are great! They just really want what’s best for you. The nurses are nice especially Tony. The women who collects your pee Barbara is one of the nicest ladies I’ve met. I come in the afternoon so I don’t know the morning nurses as much, but from my expirence they’re really great as well. The doctors, nurses and director & Karen do their jobs well. Idk why people hate this place. A lot of the people who have nothing good to say are getting in trouble for failing a drug test and getting their bottles taken. If you’re doing what your suppose to do, it works great! After 1 year you’ll get all 6 bottles! (I think) you get a bottle every 1-3 months I forget it’s been awhile.. once’s you’re at 6, That means only coming once a week to change your bottles Out and get more! Long review but I need to show my experience because a lot of reviews are people who are upset from probably their own doings and leaving reviews. I came in a few days after my20th birthday. It’s been 4 an a half years and I’m slowly coming off with no issues. I can’t recommend this enough. They have saved my life! nothing like jail, sleeping in a homeless shelter wondering the streets homeless in the winter or even doing the worse of things would stop me. I’m beyond grateful of this place! Oh and PS!! Don’t eat a damn poppy seed bagel right before a urine test! Sounds crazy but they test you with a way way more sensitive test then they can legally use on their workers! Their cut offs are soooo sooo much lower!! For this very reason it’s illegal to test their own workers because it causes false results! I ate a bagel that had thousands of poppy seeds in the dough not Just sprinkled on top! The highest peek to show up in your pee, is 2 to 5 hours and I ate it 4 hours before my test! It’s crazy it came up as codeine!! Only 114 when people who actually do codeine it’s around 70,000!! I didn’t understand I was having panic attacks because no one would believe me! I knew it had to be there but why?!!! I didn’t use! The doctor almost didn’t believe me because he said I’d have to eat a whole bag of chips with poppy seeds on them! He wouldn’t look at the bagel! it was way more then a bag of chips thousands of “pencils dots” everywhere in the dough. Long story long; I took it into my own hands and Went to the doctors a few days later and got some of my hair shaved off on my head.. came back I didn’t do anything wrong and my Consulor has the results printed in my folder. That’s scary because people could be going to jail because how low their cut offs are.. got my bottles back. But try not to worry, it’s a crazy coincidence someone else getting a bagel like mine where they have it in the dough and also eating it like me 2-5 hours before. I had my bank statement printed and everything that was the scariest experience ever. I hope what happened to me makes an impact next time. I added photos of my “positive” results from new directions days later got a hair test and got those results down below )

They just for the money , they dont really help the addict so sad...

It has helped me a lot but every time I think Im getting ahead they make a new rule. I should be getting 5 bottles but I only have 3 because my counclor wont put in for another until I do all my councling for the month. So if Im eligible the first week I still have to wait which I dont think is right. Its been 9 weeks since I got my last bottle but because I still have to get in 1 hour she wont approve another even though I have until the end of the month to complete councling.The thing that makes me angry is she told me she was going to ask for it 2 weeks in a row and told me she wasnt sure why I didnt get it. If she would have said she wont put in for it until I do councling I would understand.

One of my family members is a patient there and their counselor is out almost every week on the day they are supposed to meet with her, or if she is there it takes her 20 mins after her appointment time to come get her for her session. She hasnt been progressing through the program due to the fact that her counselor isnt taking the time she needs to move he to the next phase. Personally I wish she could of stayed at the other clinic she was going to, even though the ride was a little longer she was getting the help she needs and she felt like she was accomplishing something.

Saved my life. And many many others I care for. Bad reviews are more than likely people who werent READY to stop. Save your life. Its not worth dying over. One day at a time people. Its really not rocket science. 😇

Been there for 11 years 7 of which were very successful, sober as well as self pay. Lost my job and unfortunately relapsed and acrued a balance that I was finally trying to pay down on 8.00hr income. I missed 2 months of payments however, things are finally looking up. Just started a new job making way more money but I work from 8am till around 4-6pm. Well 2 days before I got my first paycheck they told me your not dosing untill after 3 so get out of here. I said who can I call to talk to, I get paid tomorrow night and was resuming payments in 2 days plus I just drove an hour to get here. They responded with an elevated voice I DONT CARE. DONT CALL ANYONE. JUST LEAVE. GET OUT OF HERE AND DONT COME BACK UNTIL AFTER 3pm.So I called out of work that day and came back at 3:30pm costing me 90$ plus 10$ in gas TWICE. (Now at 110$ lost). So the next day I had to choose miss work again or get dosed so I missed a day of dosing. I bought heroin for the first time in 4 years :( :(. Ill dose this weekend before work. But what now on Monday??How can you demand money from someone but not allow them to work? How can you treat people like us like its a privilege to be there but we all made the choice to walk in looking for change? Not one of us is court mandated.Bottom line is that the place is now being ran like a trap house. You better come correct with that money or the methadone man will have you as*ed out. Trying to transfer to a new clinic now.P. S. Julie is an absolute doll and a pleasure to deal with. She has been my only saving grace there.

Methadone saved my life! I have been clean for 15 years because of this place. The benefits outweigh all the risks. I will forever be grateful for NDTS.

I am disgusted that due to the upcoming inclement weather. THE CLINIC IS RANDOMLY CHOSING WHO WILL GET TAKE HOME AND WHO WILL SUFFER NOT BEING ABLE TO DOSE!!! I AM LOOKING INTO RULES AND REGULATIONS IF THIS IS ALLOWED!! THEY DO NOT KNOW THE MEANING OF HOW TO TREAT PEOPLE WITH RESPECT, THEY FEEL EVERYONE THAT WALKS IN THERE IS JUST A NUMBER. IF YOU DONT LIKE YOUR JOB FIND A NEW ONE!!!

Saved my life! Follow the programs plan for you and your life can be saved too. The only thing that upset me was some rules change and they dont put out a new pamphlet you have to find out by word of mouth. They are small things, but enough to make them take your take home doses away and start all over again, but its rare.

**Please Read**In short.. I came in (already clean on mmt) from another clinic out of the county I lived in.. transferred because of drug court I was in at the time.. pregnant.. from a 6 year old unfinished first offenders probation warrant in the county I STILL lived and drug court helped me get county funding and the treatment was free -cool never asked for it but took it. After I SUCCESSFULLY completed drug court my counselor could care less about me.. they “misplaced” over $6000 in county funding I had been receiving the whole time and tried to make me slowly pay it off every week WHILE!!! Telling me I couldn’t dose until 5pm at earliest, an hour before they closed at that time.. after making a few phone calls I was able to get backed up from the county proving this clinic was at fault and if they didn’t produce that money a lawsuit was heading for them. Not too long after they took my takeouts away (which I had 5 of the max I could until I was there for 3 years) from a positive alcohol test that they couldn’t prove was from actual alcohol abuse or a diabetic condition I don’t even know if I have but very well could due to 2 biological family members having.. one being my mom whom I’m not close to but my sister is as to how I know.. ppl who think THIS clinic in particular has saved their lives clearly mean MMT in general has saved it but def. NOT this particular program and if they do it’s because this is the only program THEY have done.. that’s facts.. there are other programs out there that will treat you with the dignity and respect that you deserve ESPECIALLY if you have never failed one SUPERVISED urine there (btw they are all supervised).. what they did to me recently.. which was not dose me that day for failing an alcohol test yet wouldn’t give me a breathalyzer to see if I was really drunk was like it for me. We don’t go to mmt for alcohol anyways but even if they had to protect themselves at least have the proper testing to see if that person was REALLY abusing alcohol in the first Effin place. The end. I have to say it was there for me when I was ready to change my life.. Saying that, I earned my take homes and for a drug I never took, my take homes where taken from me. I have a toddler whom I have no babysitter for, knowing that I would have to take my child out in the cold everyday on the bus is one of the reasons I dont chance it.They dont put no mind to the results they get back!It takes 6 weeks to get 1 take home but they take them in a second.They Do Not think about the patients!Update: 10/22/20 Yesterday I was told I was going to be going down in 14 days to IDK what mg. I thought he said 50 me being on 70 but he said we didnt take you down today youre still on 65. I told him I was in 70, he said oh right, sorry. If I was going down to 50 from 70 in 14 days why 5 mg in one day. All bc I have permission from the doctor of the clinic and a letter (I took to my other doctor for the medication) to say I can take my medication. I had 6 take homes at the time, and not ever was it mentioned to me, bc their reason/excuse is, as long as it doesnt show up in my urine, now that is crazy to me. Any certain amount of mg of a medication you take everyday its going to show up in your urine.So my take homes were taken without any discussion or warning just as tapering me down to who knows what mg in 14 days bc the medication I have permission to take was in my urine.IF ANYONE KNOWS WHO I CAN CONTACT ABOUT THIS SITUATION.. FIND ME ON FACEBOOK MESSENGER.They could be messing around with someones life/sobriety.Thank you.

Saved my life and alot of my friends lives. Just like anything else theres good and bad in anything Methadone.can help you change your life around as long as your willing to do what it takes..
