First off let me say that my daughter and I both went in to get haircuts; we had different stylists. This was our first time in, but it’s a local business and has great reviews. My stylist, Alex, was phenomenal; an absolute gem. She was very personable and knowledgeable, the salon is very nice, trendy & clean. My experience was fantastic!…. But that’s where it ends. My daughter had a horrible experience with her stylist, Tiffany I believe. Tiffany said she had experience with women’s cuts but was new to the shop. She took forever to wash my daughters hair, and fumbled doing that; it’s washing hair, it’s not that complicated. Also, it took Tiffany an hour to cut my daughters hair, and somehow managed to butcher it. It looks chopped up. Nothing is the same length either. My daughter asked for 1 to 1 1/2 inches off of her nearly waist length hair, but she took closer to 4 - 6 inches off! I’m sure Some wonder how we didn’t notice how bad the cut was before we left, but it’s simple… my daughter has an odd phobia of hair dryers. She doesn’t like the sound or the heat. So, it couldn’t be styled before we left. Once it got to a point of being fairly dry, we saw how awful it looked. She even tried calling the shop several times, but no one answered; all of the calls were before 4, which is when they close on Saturdays.So, morals of this are, book with Alex because she is a rockstar, but never with Tiffany. And make sure you know exactly how it looks before you leave.

Alex is my beautician shes excellent! Shes knowledgeable he takes the time to explain what shes going to do even if a person may think thats what they want like I thought I wanted to go lighter blonde after my hair was fried we did a treatment and color she did a nice really cute cut. I love how she does my undercuts she does little lines and them I just let her do them how she wants and they always come out really cute. Highly recommend her. The studios parade its very clean very stylish its very open

This was my first time at this salon, first impression, the place is beautiful! I love the decor, the staff all very nice big smiles and ready to greet. I had an appointment with Nicole, I got out of work late and called to be sure they would be able to see me a little later than planned, and she made the accommodations, she was so nice when I arrived, my hair was a mess, I had destroyed it with bleach and had tried to go back to my natural with no success on my own. She had a challenge on her hands for sure. She color matched my natural color, best part? When she wasn’t sure or wanted a second opinion, she asked!!! She colored my hair and treated it with olaplex and B due to how much damage there was. When she washed my hair, let me just say BEST shampoo service ever! She massaged my head and I nearly fell asleep! She took her time with detail and really put her all into the services she provides!! When it was time for the cut, again because of how damaged my hair was and I was hoping to keep some length but understood it was time to “let it go” she asked for help to see if maybe we could keep length! I just want to stress how amazing it was that she asked for help and how eager the other hairdressers were to help! This is not something you see everyday and I was so happy to see it! The other Hair dresser (I apologize I did forget her name, but she had gorgeous curls that she did with a wand but looked like she was born with them!! Gorgeous!) she assisted with the haircut and asked if I was okay with a Lob (long bob) I told them whatever is necessary for the mess I created 😂. Let me just say I left in love with my fresh hair! I was terrified to have short hair but it came out amazing and they definitely took the time to make sure it would look right with my face shape! I got home and my husband was also in love with it and he was so sad that I was going to have to cut my hair off as well. So seeing his face light up and say “it looks amazing! She did great babe!” Is a huge compliment to the hairdressers :). I highly recommend this salon, these women are amazing, you can’t go wrong with any of the stylists because they all support one another like a family ❤️

She is the only exception in 40 years that I have ever allowed to touch, cut, color or perm my hair!! If she doesnt know the cut, style, color or anything... She will ask all other stylists... If she cant get the answer, she looks online & if she still cant get the answer...SHE WONT DO IT!! To her your happiness with what she does is above all else.

This salon is so cute! Country chic for sure. All of the staff are fantastic at cuts and color. I have only gotten hair services from here but they offer waxing and makeup services as well. They also stock styling products and makeup for sale. The price for Balayage is quite competitive with other salons and the quality is amazing! All of the staff know each-other and their customers like family and are friendly and make professional judgement on services. They have promotions and giveaways every once in a while too. (Refer a friend and get $15 off)

I wasn’t quite sure what I wanted so he showed me a few different looks and helped me find the perfect color to match my complexion and style! I was surprised at the cleanliness and speed he had! Brittany Ivins is my hair stylist and I will never go to another one!! I’ve tried a lot of places because my hair is thick and toning it can be tricky. It comes out beautiful everytime and I get compliments everywhere I go on my hair (seriously)- I tell everyone to go see her.

The parking lot is super small. The owner has utilized the space and made it nice for customers, but I dont think some of the ladies there know what they are doing for what you pay... I really wish the stylist would be honest with their skills and let you know that they dont know what they are doing...

I have had my hair done by Brittany Ivins many times now. My hair is naturally curly, native, thick hair! She can braid it, color it, cut it, straighten it! No one has been able to do my hair without Messi g it up and I was a general manager at Ulta Beauty so that says it all! She is the best! She has also done my mother who is elderly and has brittle course hair. She repaired it and then was able to start coloring it again. She can do it all!

You must see Alexandria Alex Kinyon at 36th Studio West Salon! After battling breast cancer, losing my hair to chemo, and suffering through the devastation that I felt afterwards, Alex has not only helped me to feel like a woman again, but a beautiful woman at that! Before going bald I had very long and wavy, naturally reddish blonde hair, something I was very proud of and took great care to keep healthy. As it grew back in, although it has volume, it is super dark and straight. I walked into the salon with no appointment, explained what I had been through and that I had to be careful with colors and highlights because so many hair products contain carcinogens. Alex has looked into various products and has been able to recommend non-carcinogenic products, as well as taking great care in what and how she uses products in my hair. We have played around with various colors over the last two years and different styles, all while doing everything to keep myself and my hair healthy. She has also become a great friend to talk to each time Im in. Everyone at 36th Studio West is wonderful and I always enjoy going in, whether its for myself or to have two of my boys hair done.

I cannot rate them on quality but as a new customer that had an appointment, the girl that made my appointment did not come in and no call was made to me, I showed up and they told me they couldn’t help me, could I possibly come back in a few days. Maybe because I was a man. I bet they would have bent over backwards for a woman that would have probably had spent $100+. This place is NOT for men.

Went to get my hair done for the first time in a loooong time. Had an idea of what I wanted to do with it, but after stephanie took a look at it she informed me that because of my previous style and the way it had grown out, it would be hard to keep as much of the length as I wanted. She made me feel so comfortable up to that point that I told her to do whatever she wanted to and whatever she felt would look best on me. Total leap of faith. And I have to say, I have never gotten as many compliments on my cut and color as I have in the last 2 weeks. She did an absolutely amazing job! I completely adore it! Would absolutely recommend this place a million times!

Best hair cut Ive ever had

I had always wanted to get my eyebrows done professionally, so I decided to go there but I left so disappointed. The lady never asked me anything regarding on how I wanted them done. Since it was the first time getting them done I expected something completely different from what I got. Did not get what I paid for I could of done it myself for that matter! She left me barley any eyebrows. I just wanted them to look natural but trimmed. Im so sad because I had been growing them out for about six months.
