Yesterday, I came for my very first visit and was there over 2 hours. Set up the plan to get my teeth fixed and paid my full portion that is needed. Everyone was nice, the whole experience was welcoming and relaxed. Not 1 mention of a mask. Came back today and was informed that informed that I would have to sit in the car and they would call me when they were ready for me because I don’t wear a mask. Totally not the same welcoming place. I feel like they got my money so now they don’t have to “fit” what most of the reviews said in regard to how nice and welcoming everyone is. I don’t have COVID, I can’t wear masks and yesterday NOTHING was said the WHOLE time I was there. Not very happy, honestly makes me wonder what the work they do will really be like.

My appointment was to prepare for a crown after a root canal. Dr. Amanda Spradley was incredible. Great personality, warm and engaging. The young lady that assisted her was phenomenal also I wish I knew her name. Keep up the good work. Today the crown was installed. Dr was great and so was Sarah her asst. would definitely recommend.

I am truly disappointed with Luma Dentistry. I had work done there over a year ago. I recently moved due to a promotion and job change and after a year later I receive a phone call stating that my insurance didn’t pay all of what they were supposed to pay. When talking with Luma I asked why wasn’t I informed prior and that if I had I known I could have reached out to my insurance provider. The response they gave was that they dropped the ball and they are sorry. Imagine getting work done and over a year later you received a call saying you owe them. That is unacceptable, but to add on to this, they say they will look into this and I just receive a collections notice as they have given this to a collections agency. If you have had work done with Luma I would Highly suggest don’t get comfortable thinking that you are current because they will call you years later and state they didn’t get an item paid. I recommend to not go to Luma.

Everyone was friendly and cordial as usual. Talked me about the procedure. Was pleasantly surprised when he did not give any unnecessary medication that wasnt needed. I was not in any pain during or after the procedure. Grateful.

I am a cancer patient and the potential for problems can be huge. Dr. Soon was willing and very capable of dealing with my issue and did a tremendous extraction. I am thrilled with the results. While I am in minor pain, he also provided a pain med that would have dealt with it effectively. Since I also had chemotherapy the next day, I elected not to take it due to issues that might have arisen. All in all, Dr. Soon is experienced, fearless, and incredibly experienced with his field. Five stars to him and his team.

The ladies at the front desk were very nice and welcoming but they were a good bit more expensive than the other dentist that I talk to.

Excellent! I made my appointment online over the holiday weekend. It uploaded all my insurance info and new patient info leaving nothing to fill out when I arrived! They were able to take me in the first business day for a root canal and get it finished the same day. They had a professional approach and the dentist and assistant were excellent. The staff up front handled my insurance and payment. Everything was smooth and flawless. We are going to visit for our regular check ups. This is a great group!

We just had procedure of 2 caps and 9 fillings. Dr. Ted and associates were fantastic. They called and check on her the following two days. Luma Dentistry is great. They made my 17 year old daughter as comfortable as possible to get the work done. Thank you.

I have been a patient of Luma Dentistry for about 8 years now, and I do not have one negative thing to say about them.Yesterday, I was in extreme pain with two different teeth. They got me in within hours of calling, they evaluated the problem, and then performed my surgery within an a half-hour of signing in. They said that they didn’t want me to have another night of tooth pain. So, the fact that they treated my issues so quickly, shows me exactly how much they care about their patients. They made me as comfortable as they could considering the circumstances. They also treated me with compassion, empathy, respect, & professionalism.Thank you, Luma Dentistry!!! Went into this office nervous as usual but to my surprise the hygienist named Bliss was so kind . I had heard really good things about Luma and wanted to check it out personally. Staff was pleasant, area was clean and the atmosphere is so welcoming .

Everything was amazing from the time I walked in the front door all the way up to now I was taken care of as if I was the only patient at the time. Dr Shah has called me from his personal cell phone after hours checking on me himself. Jennifer his assistant was also amazing and took care of me anyway she could. Would definitely recommend them to anyone. I drove from out of town to have my problems fixed and I will continue to use them it’s worth the drive for the customer service.

We had our 1st experience at Luma dentistry, in McCalla today and it was great! I completed the online forms so there was nothing for us to do. They were quick to get my son in and he came out with no cavities…yeah!We’re definitely going to use them as our preferred dentist 🦷

My experience was fantastic. I told the young lady who cleaned my teeth that I had a Bad experience the 1st time I ever got my teeth cleaned I really didnt want to do that again. She walked me through every step made me feel relaxed and comfortable and before I knew it I was done. I drove to McCalla today from Decatur Al to visit Luna Dentistry for the first time. The staff was amazing and the dentist was even better. They made sure I was comfortable and did everything they could to help me. I look forward to going back.

I am typically not a fan of dentist visits (who is really?), but I did not feel the normal apprehension with Luma. Everyone (from the front desk to the hygienist to the dentist) was professional, courteous and friendly. They seemed interested in making the visit as simple and pleasant as possible. And it was.

Extremely pleased with the care received. Dr. Wendy replaced an old crown, both the temp and permanent crowns were perfect--no issues at all. Also, Ms. Leah did an outstanding job cleaning my teeth. Highly recommend this practice.

Qst time visit was in major pain. Instead of treating me as a fristti.e patient they address my issue which was pain. Ended up having to get a tooth pulled and the doctor was extremely informing and reassuring. Made sure i was in no pain through the entire procedure. And was out of there within a hour. Will be returning as a long term customer/ patient

Dr Holt Grays office has been extremely supportive and efficient. Its been easy to schedule appointments and the office runs on time which is important to me. Dr. Gray and his office has been very easy to work with and Dr. Gray has communicated with me personally following each procedures to make sure everything was going ok. I highly recommend...

I had broken a tooth and was also considered a new patient when I came in to Luma dentistry. They got me in quickly and everyone was so friendly. I am scared to death of the dentist and had not seen a dentist in many years. So I was a little nervous when I went in and everyone from the girl who checked me in to Dr. Herring were so compassionate and really worked hard to ease my anxiety. I ended up needing a crown for the broken tooth and even though I was still a little nervous about the work being done, all in all it wasnt that bad. I highly recommend Luma dentistry. My first visit a week ago was awesome.My second visit which was cleaning my right side of my mouth was not as good as my first one. I usually get analgesia so I wont feel any pain. Well today I had to get numb more then once and also had to pay for something that I told them wasnt not working. I was told I still had to pay even though the the service I paid for,which is nitrous didnt work or affect my numbness and I still felt some of the activities going on in my mouth!

I was very apprehensive about my dental cleaning as it had been years since my last visit to the dentist. However, the office staff was nice and the hygienist was great! She knew my apprehension and was very careful to be gentle. She encouraged me through the entire visit. The dentist was very nice as well. I opted for the nitrous which, of course, eased the anxiety as well. Great office.

4:00 pm appointment, I arrived at 3:50, was called back at 3:55. Very professional, friendly young technician checked my teeth, had the dentist also check (standard procedure), methodically cleaned my teeth and I was done by 4:30. I was very impressed. Very pleasant experience.

I have always thought Dr. Holt Grey shows such kindness. He cares about your pain and when I first met him I had three truly horrible experiences and was why my teet were so bad. Luma dentistry in McCalls, Al. Is a very good place to go for dental work. I have been with them for years. I have always been afraid of the dentist, but this dentistry makes you very comfortable. Every procedure is made painless as possible. The staff is friendly and make you feel welcomed. The dentistry is very clean and they have massage chairs. I just love it.

Great experience with my appointment this week. This is probably the most professionally run and competent dental practice that I’ve ever been to. I needed a filling in a front tooth. I was in and out of there in 30 minutes. The whole experience was painless from beginning to end. I have to drive from Talladega to go here for dental service. 100 mile round trip, but it is worth it. I recommend them to all my friends.

I’m a difficult case and Ebony was so patient. I told her thank you and her reply made me want to cry. She said, “No thank you. I’ve been doing this 18 years and I love new cases and what I can learn from you.” What a blessing God has brought to me with this facility and this staff.

The Sylacauga office was closed today and we drive 2 hours to the McCalla office and our experience was AMAZING! We were there for literally 2 minutes and we were already back and being worked on. I did not get Xrays because my appointment was 3 days too soon to be covered by my medicare advantage plan. Otherwise, everything else was very good.
