Amazing volunteer-led bird walks in the Bay Area. Great way to learn how to bird. Most activities are free, and an inexpensive membership is a great way to support this fabulous organization.

Great field trips and monthly evening talks on a range of interesting bird topics, and now celebrating a 100 years of helping birds and connecting people with the nature.

Golden Gate Audubon is encouraging responsible dog owners to the many off-leash areas in Golden Gate National Recreation Area in order to protect the endangered species living on the coast. There is no discussion of a ban, especially on-leash.
