Great place to visit. Toxic workplace.
Well not accessible to everyone but this is a place where people is trying to make our life better, where scientists are trying to understand how are cells works by understanding how proteins are made.
Great place for research and collaboration. Great scientists.
The Advanced Light Source (ALS) is a specialized particle accelerator that generates bright beams of x-ray light for scientific research. Electron bunches travel at nearly the speed of light in a circular path, emitting ultraviolet and x-ray light in the process. The light is directed through about 40 beamlines to numerous experimental endstations, where scientists from around the world (“users”) can conduct research in a wide variety of fields, including materials science, biology, chemistry, physics, and the environmental sciences. Operation of the ALS is funded by the U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Basic Energy Sciences.
Nice views and bright light. Hopefully Congress will fund the facility!
The best light source in the world.
Small synchrotron who has very good view. Place for science
Awesome place for science. Besides, this is certainly the synchrotron with the best view in the world!
Space technology. Keep up the good work guys!
The worlds fanciest flashlight ❤️
Phenomenal scientific facility.
Great place to do awesome science
When regular light just wont do
The science performed here changes the world.
It could be more comfortable and cleaner.
Great placer for science
Prety cool
Place that makes you think of a science fiction movie!
