I had an ACL surgery with Dr. Eppley, recovery was really quick. Results are great, pain was minimal in comparison to another ACL surgery I had on my other knee. He used minimal invasive techniques (arthroscopy) to replace my ACL so he didnt cut my healthy quads, tendons or other tissue, he just bore holes. GREAT!

Dr. Eppley is the rarest of physicians, an outstanding surgeon who cares deeply about his patients and their return to health. He is patient, compassionate, and actually listens. His staff is considerate and efficient, and always willing to answer questions. I have (unfortunately) seen a lot of medical practitioners in the past ten years (including many at Stanford), and Dr. Eppley is the best doctor of them all. I trust him absolutely.

Dr. Eppley rebuilt my shoulder. The surgery was successful. He did a fabulous job!The extensive repair work was on a 52 year old man with a poor probability of success. The surgery, post operative followup, and PT care management was first class.

Dr. Eppley is a remarkably able surgeon. Many years ago he repaired my completely ruptured right pectoralis major tendon. This was a very difficult surgery because I had previously received some exceedingly poor medical advice and the tendon was completely scarred into the muscle mass. The surgery took a very long time. Afterwards the anesthesiologist stopped in to see me and described how hard Dr. Eppley worked to put me back together again. I still have full functionality of that pec. Recently I had an extensively torn rotator cuff, most surgeons would not have attempted this repair. Dr. Eppley did and my shoulder is now great and Im able to swim and do all of the other things I love doing. I was 65 at the time of the rotator cuff surgery. Im now 67 and the shoulder is doing great. Dr. Eppley rocks!!!

This is an integrated, specialized, high quality practice. You see the doctor that is assigned to your particular condition. I left feeling fully informed. I was screened by one doctor, then saw another doctor some days later. My condition was fully explained to my satisfaction. The decision was to forego ACL replacement due to my age and to postpone knee replacement because deterioration was not sufficiently advanced. They said that successive knee replacements become less satisfactory, so postponing the first one is the best practice.

I am a kidney cancer and kidney transplant patient, among other health problems; I have had more than 20 trips into the OR. Existing scar tissue from previous shoulder surgeries, fistula implantation surgery to do dialysis in the arm, plus high doses of steroids from both before and after the transplant had caused the damage and the resulting pain in my right shoulder to be so bad that I kept wishing I had a British drive car so that I could shift with my left hand. No such luck.No surgeon wants to take me back into the OR, between dialysis and pic lines going bad, my veins are shot. With that said, Dr Eppley told me that he would be able to help me with the debilitating pain. Everyone in his office was great and extremely professional. He signed the correct shoulder so there would be no mistakes in the OR and I gained a new lease on life after surgery. The pain has been a thousand times better. He seems like a nice man as well, very personable.

If I could give him less than 1 star I totally would. I went to see him bc of the reviews I read online. He initially told me I needed surgery but it would take him 1 year to get to me. 1 year? Really? Well, needless to say I had to find out why the need to suffer for a year in order to have him as a surgeon. I suggested that he do some inner self analysis to discover why people were suffering over a year to have him as a surgeon. It is bc he is greedy and over extending himself. You would think for as much as he charges you could expect the best of everything, treatment, care, etc. Upon awakening from surgery I realized that something wasnt right with my hand. I brought it to his attention when I saw him and he and his PA shot one another a look, like uh oh, and he without even examination said , without looking me in the eye, give it a week, then it was a month and now it could be a year. I cannot work with only the use of one hand, I am a photographer. The morning after the surgery, I was in the ladies room when he came into my room to release me and he barged right into my bathroom, with my under ware around my ankles bc he was inconvenienced by my use of the restroom. He couldnt be bothered to wait for me to finish peeing, which only would have taken less than one minute had he chose to be patient. I have not seen him since then, only his PA. He couldnt be bothered with me, no reassurance nothing other than you have nerve damage, I didnt have nerve damage before the operation. My primary care dr had to call them to get them to refer me to a hand surgeon and a neurologist to try to help me. My surgery was April the 19th and my hand is still no better than the first day I had the surgery. Today he had someone call me to tell me that if I did not pay him 300 by next week they would not see me again. I am unable to work, thanks to this man, and now they are not at least going to see me through until the end? I am finding an attorney. This is just wrong. Do not go to this Dr. He has little or no bedside manner and his sense of caring as a healer is non existent. I feel like he nor his staff have one thought of care for my well being. Do yourself a favor and dont believe all the hype, he believes it. I think it has gone to his head. I regret ever stepping foot into his office. And he is going to regret ever messing up my ability to make a living.
