What a pleasant and well organized office! The adherence to COVID protocols was exceptional and very reassuring. The staff was so professional and even better, kind and patient. Dr. Paley was friendly, efficient and asked great questions and offered, not pushed, treatment options. I am so glad I scheduled this appointment when my long time practice could not see my for more than eight months. I will be returning

I was thoroughly pleased with my last visit. The dentist, his assistant, and the secretarial staff were all very professional, and efficient. I am very pleased with the work they did on my teeth, and really like the precautions they take to control the spread of Covid. I would recommend them to anyone seeking good dental care!

The medical service itself was good but the payment scheme is a sham hence the - 2 stars. I will explain:The place and service: They seem to have a good COVID prevention system and I felt safe. They took my temperature (useless but whatever), they asked me a questionnaire, they asked me to wash my hands, and they had an air purifier in the room. The dental hygienist and the doctor had adequate PPE and were very professional. I think they did a good job.However, when I made the appointment I was quoted $68 over the phone for services that do not get covered by my insurance. Ok. Days later they sent me an email with a treatment plan for $89. I naturally called my insurance as I was trying to understand these charges. The insurance called the dentist office and connected the calls and they said these charges were not covered by my insurance so I had to deal with it, and they did not explain why they had increased from $68 to $89 I was originally quoted. Ok, I let that go. Then, the day of the appointment I was charged $98!! I asked why as the services listed in the treatment plan were the same. The secretary said I had called the insurance and therefore the prices were higher!!! She said that they try to have reasonable prices but sinceI called my insurance to understand the treatment plan charges, she inevitably had to submit a claim and therefore, I lost the discounts. Had I not called my insurance the bill would have remained at $89. I said so, you are penalizing me for trying to understand the bill? and she said yeah, I had to submit the claim early and therefore the discount no longer applies and if I do not do this I will get penalized, which sounds like total BS to me. I was upset but I paid nonetheless. Also, she made me pay ahead of time, so I had to pay for, among others, an application of flouride ($36), ok? And, when the doctor saw me he presented this application as an optional thing but I had already paid for it so I said, yes, I want it. Well, those were some wasted $36 as all he did was put a paste on my teeth for 30 seconds and then asked me to spit it. Had I known what this application implied I would haev not done it. But, again, you cannot call ahead of time because they penalize you and charge you more!!!!!The doctor and the dental hygienist were good, but I am afraid I will not come back here. They will rip you off.

Really great experience having two large fillings done. Was properly numbed such that I felt nothing. The drilling and filling procedure was fairly quick. The best part is that the doc properly ground down the filling so my bite was completely even (my past fillings have always felt like I was biting on a pebble). The doc also explains pretty much everything being done (in quite a bit of detail), which makes things much less scary. Highly recommend this dentist.

Refresh Dental is an outstanding dental practice. As I said to the dentist and staff as I left there today from getting two fillings, I feel very well care for by them. From Sandra the front desk and scheduling person who is always friendly, helpful, and efficient, to the technicians who are gentle and friendly and the doctor who is thorough and never tries to sell me improvements but focused on dental health, this is a first rate place.

Everything about my appointment today went as well as I could have imagined, from the friendly and thorough registration process through getting 2 old fillings replaced. Dr. Chan is great about telling you what hes doing and what to expect. He does this during regular check-ups and he did the same during todays procedure, taking care to make sure I wasnt experiencing any pain. (I never was but he asked several times and told me to raise my left hand if I felt anything other than vibration.) He took great care to make sure the new fillings (on the same side) werent too high and didnt interfere with my ability to bite down with molars on both sides. Its now been several hours, the numbness has completely worn off, and I have no discomfort at all. And I should also mention that they have really good sanitation practices related to COVID. I really couldnt be more pleased! Big thanks to everyone at Refresh!

This was an emergency visit due to a filling falling out. It was in a difficult place. I was afraid it would be painful. However, it turned out remarkably well. I was treated with respect and empathy by the Dentist and the staff. It was so much better than I expected!

Dr. Chen, his team Sandra, Yvon, Jackie are super kind helpful and patient. I have complete trust they all know what theyre doing and they are very considerate to stop and ask in the middle of the process to always check on you and and make sure you are dong ok. I warmly recommend!

I am absolutely shocked. The main dentist doctor Chan recommended I get Invisalign and quoted me $3,000. I had to cancel because it some time went by before since I got the first tray which took a while and things came up financially due to the pandemic. I called today to inquire about a crown. The speaker was very rude and gaslighted me saying the dentist doesn’t talk about prices but he absolutely 100% did. He quoted my 3,000 and the assistant laughed and said he doesn’t talk about money and how she can assure me he didn’t talk about pricing. I wanted to speak to dr Chan but she said he doesn’t talk about money and that I need to pay the fee to see him again. How outrageous. I will never return and I warn you not to go here.

Great service, nice employees, they actually have a screen hanging from the ceiling so you can watch what they do and they can educate you.I got a lot of great lessons and support on all my visits and I feel actually pleasant about the prosepct of going in for a check-up again. They just cancelled my appointment, without any notice. and when i arrived to the office, Sandra told me that i called them earlier and cancelled it. would not trust this dental office

Very good experience. Front desk staff was polite and professional, I felt very comfortable with the hygienicist and she patiently answered all my qeustions, and the dentist went through my x-rays with me and showed me pictures of my cavities. As a new patient I got x-rays, an oral cancer screening, and they checked my pocket depths - very thorough.

Really rude receptionist .I had to cancel my appointment because i dint have the 65 dollar co-pay an was not informed when I made the appointment that theres a cancellation fee. Dont waste your time here

Kind and courteous staff and transparent and informative procedures

Refresh wasted my time. Im an outdoor educator who spends a lot of time away from technology. I got back from 6 days of backpacking and showed up to my appointment the next morning. When I arrived, they let me know that they had cancelled my appointment and wouldnt see me because I hadnt responded to their email or text reminder during their office hours the previous day. If you value your time, go somewhere else, because Refresh Dental doesnt.
