Dark Karma was a disappointment. Higher priced pit isnt necessarily the best pot. Great customer service though and good delivery times. I wish their delivery times extended for the people who work 9-5 pm like me; at least until 8pm.

BPG is the best dispensary i ever been in shopping. I was out in Berkeley on vacation and this place has nice workers. The location and accuracy of product knowledge is wonderful. I recommend this place for your medicine. The office is very neat and well organized! Thank you for a perfect experience if I ever make it back to Berkeley i will go straight there for shopping. If you are looking for Sativa you will find the best. The restrooms are clean and convenient. This is a dispensary you can brag on to friends and family. The bus stop is near by if you are commuting.

Upon speaking with the budtender it seemed he had little knowledge of what was offered. I Asked for recommendations and he just listed the first thing he saw and did not follow up with any more info abut the strain. Also made multiple mistakes with my order that made me stay longer than expected, and did not seem at all interested in what I wanted. Prices weren’t bad but the service left much to be desired.

I I have been coming to this location for years and it’s always been great product and majority of employees are friendly besides the girl at the front door as security!! She is always high on the clock, very rude and aggressive when taking your ID!! I think management should address this issue as it seems like I’m not the only one who is bringing it to your attention.

I love this dispensary. It was the first dispensary I found and have been a member for a year. I personally believe they have the best Cannabis menu I have ever seen. The menu keeps you well informed on each product. I am greatful for the education I received on medical marijuana. It has eased my stroll down the Cannabis trail.

Clean, fast and excellent selection of medicine. This biggest issue I have is you can place an order online and pick up - but they dont tell you if something is out of stock so you end up driving over there and half your order is unfulfilled. Otherwise, one of the best dispensaries in the area.

Website says place an order by 4:30p for same day delivery, I placed my order before 1:30p never heard anything from them, order just said pending online. Called multiple times over the course of 4hrs no one answered or returned my message. Finally got thru to someone around 6p they placed me on hold for 15mins until I finally hung up and tried to call back to which they proceeded not to answer since it was close to closing time. I ended up waiting all day for them when I could have took my business elsewhere. Thanks for the great customer service and communication. Wont ever waste my time placing a delivery order with them again. SMH

The longest running dispensary in America knows how to treat their customers and patients. I even heard they cover the city tax for their med patients, just as a nice gesture. They truly seem to care about the customer experience.

I have found doctors who I like for me and my daughter, I dont wait overlong to see them, and on the whole I feel I receive quality care. I do feel rushed through at times (the doctors obviously have many appointments per day / its not possible to discuss things in great depth), but my doctor is good about emailing me back if I have questions. Bottom line: maybe too big of a practice for some peoples preference, but if you get a good doctor there its a nice enough facility.

Ive been to BPG several times, and always leave feeling somewhat satisfied. Their quality is good, but man do they get you on price. Its pretty ridiculous to be honest. The service really depends on who helps you, as some clearly just want to move the line and are not very helpful. I recently went to Purple Heart in Oakland and their prices are much more reasonable(with tax included in price so there is no guessing game what you will pay at the register) and their quality is just as good. Personally, I will be going to Purple Heart for now on and would recommend you give them a try too unless youre rich.

Good products at a decent price, the staff is friendly and helpful. I like the place but I also wouldnt go out of my way to go here, its way more of a place I go to for convenience when Im in the neighborhood.I miss the indoor smoking room they used to have so patients could sit around chatting and smoking together.

This is my go-to dispensary. They have good deals if you sign up for the newsletter, and I love that they test everything themselves for potency as I mostly use edibles and they can vary a lot. I dont think its worth going anywhere else!

Ive bought quite a few concentrates (thousands of dollars worth) here in the last 2-3 years. The concentrates never disappoint. The $15-20 oils are always an amazing deal. The $30-50 waxes are always of the highest quality. Consistently excellent variety. Polite, respectful, well-mannered, and professional bud tenders. They also have an express line if you know what you want before you come inside. What more can you ask for?

Great selection, high prices. Option to pre-order online--which is very time-saving, and reduces time spent standing in line considerably. During lunch breaks--especially just before a weekend after payday--expect long lines. Always manage to get parking in their lot.

They are reliable with what they provide, not only with more than one product, but it usually stays stocked on all the items I buy to portion my use for the month. The best thing is I get to keep up with the cannabis news with magazines so I always get a treat to read as I am smoking or waiting for an edible.

These guys dont want you to know what youre actually buying.Why? Just walk in their store and look at the presentation of cannabis flower. Cannabis flowers on display are sealed in these plastic containers that have holes punched in the lid. Sales staff do not allow you to open the container, so you have to attempt to smell the flower through 1/4 thick plastic. Its a joke. You cant smell anything.Most flower customers purchase with their nose. There are white papers on this! Plenty of other stores are more honest with customers and let you smell the product you are purchasing.Long time customer, but I will not be returning unless they fix this.

Came here as my first dispensary ever. The check in process was pretty quick. They explain a couple things, get you in their system.I get in line, get a recommendation and you get a free gift as well your first time. Time to pay, no one had told me nor did I see signage that they only take cash or debit. I had only brought one credit card. The guy didnt even let me take the free gift home.Came back the next day, and I tell them I didnt get the free gift yesterday, the girl looks at me sideways (why would I lie for a lighter and baby edible...) and said he shouldve let me take it. After finally getting product, the recommendation was also not really what I had been looking for.I go to Harborside now.

Ordered online, got a confirmation when it was ready to be picked up, and had no line when I stopped by to grab my order. That was the good. The bad part was when I read my receipt, which showed that I got taxed three times, and one of those taxes was a compound tax - meaning it not only taxes the product, it taxed me for paying the other two taxes. Anybody should know that you do not get taxed on the money youve already paid to the government. Finally, I emailed them and got no response. Very unprofessional. The order I sent online was processed nearly immediately, but my concern goes unanswered. Its thievery, and other dispensaries dont tax you like this.

Cannabis use, even as a teen in the 60s and 70s was never really a must do thing for me. Dont get me wrong, if somebody offered me some or was passing a joint down the aisle at Winterland I wouldnt let it go by without partaking. I had some good times too, but it wasnt a must have. Flash forward 40 plus years and Im diagnosed with Parkinsons Disease and in less than a year that has all changed. Today medicinal Cannabis products offer some of the best relief of chronic symptoms related to PD without serious side effects especially for treating insomnia and RLS! BPG is my third Cannabis store in the eastbay that I have been to and by far my favorite. Great selection, competitive pricing, super knowledgeable staff, free parking and a clean well lit interior make for a favorable Cannabis shopping experience! Brought my sister in law here and tomorrow my nearly 90 year old mother in law!

Anyone who has shopped here please look at your receipt. My receipt shows a tax on the tax. So youre not just taxed on the product you bought. There are 3 taxes (excise, City, and sales), and the last two tax the previous taxes also - so you end up paying a double tax on the tax. Wrong!So I called BPG and spoke with the manager, and she stated thats what the CA bud law says and its what their attorneys instructed them to do...I cant wait to hear what my attorney says! The last time I went here I had the worst experience at BPG. Ive had bad experiences there, but not like this.I went in to buy a gram of $10 Cali Gold hash. I had $5 on my points card according to an old receipt. I go there, and my budtender (not at all) tells me i only have $3 on it. So Im like okay fine. I hand him $20 and ask if I can take the points off the card to use towards the hash. He says sure. And then he hands me back $2. I ask him why, I should be getting $12 back since it would have cost about $7. Then he rings up a new total on some calculator and tells me itll cost $11. At this point I dont even care if I got money off the hash, I just want to go home. So I pay him. And then I get home and realize the second receipt he gave me said I dont have any money on my points card. So I looked up the balance on my card (the website is on the back of the card) and it says I have $0. What the hell happened to my money?!Bottom line, save your time and cash and dont go here.Also- the only person I like here is Chelsea.

When I arrived at BPG to pick up my order the staff person gave me only one item that I had orderd. My email confirmation receipt showed my complete order of four items .What happened to my order??No legitimate answers were provided by the staff person.Did a staff person take from my order and sell to someone else?Why did they send me a CONFIRMATION email of FOUR items ready for pick up when they only had ONE item waiting for me.This feels overwhelmingly sheisty. The cashier had no explanation for me other than I dont know what happened?? Maybe they were moving too fast WTF??I asked who sent the email stating my order was ready? Surely that person would know what happened.. She didnt know that either! Hipsters at the front desk are distant and cold. They frequently run out of cbd pills and other cbd edibles with a higher dosage. The people in the back are cool and helpful. No pipes are sold here.

Frond Desk staff was extremely rude and obnoxious. Most items are not displayed and if you are not super familiar with products, it may take a bit to make a selection. There are much better options in town. I went there as it was close to my place but probably wont repeat.

I am Wounded Warrior Veteran to start this off. I went to this dispensary specifically to purchase indica cannabis seeds, for personal use for various medical ailments acquired from serving in the service. I asked the associate upon reaching the counter specifically if they had such a product in stock and I asked for him to verify with another employee that the options being given to me as choices were in fact indica and I was assured they were. I purchased the Crockett Family Farms Strawberry Fields seeds, they were never opened and I researched just to make sure the seeds were in fact indica after the sale and they turned out to be a sativa hybrid. The day after purchasing these seeds I called the customer service to see explain what had happened and that I was a new patient and came to the dispensary to start with the intent of leaving with indica seeds. They refused to offer any store credit or exchange for the seeds even though this whole fiasco happened because of their employees lack of knowledge on the products theyre selling. Do not do business with this place if you value your:money, fair transactions, and quality customer service. I tried to give this business a fair chance and opportunity to make it right and they failed.Do the right thing, because its the right thing to do.

I like that with BPG you can pre-order online and just show up to pickup your order. There is a nice parking lot. I like the variety of products they offer for sale.

The women whom I was sent to to register didnt give me a hello instead ignored me and started to clean confetti under her desk... the man that registered me was nervous and took very long to register me, then the women whom acted like I didnt exist, looked at my ppwrk and told me I needed to check a box... by that time I was clearly frustrated ..! Once in line, even tho there was no one in medicinal line, my budtender was talking to whom ever until the women he was talking to asked him to tend to me...He also charged me taxes.....As a fibromylgia patient, this kind of interaction made me feel sick. Ill never return here.
