So glad that theyre open again! Kim has been cutting my hair for the last four years. Great price and consistently great quality. I felt very safe as we were the only people in the salon, we both wore face masks, and Kim also wore a face shield.

Quick, affordable and good. I showed Kim a picture and she quickly knew exactly what to do. I got a thorough shampoo, nice clean bob, and a blowout in 45 minutes as a walk-in customer. Very satisfied.

I HIGHLY recommend this salon. I have been here twice. Both times I got *new* short cuts--a bob and a pixie. And I loved both of them! Ive gotten SO many compliments. In both cases, I gave my hairdresser complete freedom and I am so glad I did!!! I was waiting to get a good selfie to post, but now I am needing a new hair cut but sequestered. As soon as I have a chance to go back Ill post!

Kim and crew are great. Ive been going here for 5 years now, regardless of where Im living in the Bay (SF, Berkeley, Oakland, Emeryville). Thats because the value is excellent (under $20 for a mens haircut) and shell fit you in for a cut, even when busy. Bonus: regular customers may be able to finagle a free wash from time to time (shhhh).

I got a haircut last week. The stylist used a razor blade and sliced my hair short. I told her to make some layers but the layers were so bad. I told her to cut off two inches but for the shortest layer she cut off about 5 inches. That layer was way too short. There is a big gap between the shortest layer and the next layer. Looks so ugly. I cant even look at my hair now. Dont know how long itll take for my hair to grow a little longer so I can get another haircut.

Helen is a good stylist. She listens to whatever haircut requests you ask of her.
