Tbe diagnosis I received was really wise. Berkeley Community Acupuncture is a calm and peaceful place and being there feels like meditation. Since its a community space and youre in the treatment room with other people, needles are applied only to publicly visible parts of the body

I had my first treatment about one week ago. Three different clinicians treated me and they were all very good. The environment is clean, quite and relaxing. One of the things that I especially like is that they offer donation based treatment on certain days, which is discreet. You merely place whatever amount you can afford in a box. No one ask questions, no one passes judgement, and your patronage is valued and appreciated.I recently hurt my back and I am uninsured. Their treatment has helped me the most, and got me to a place were I could work again.Thank You!!!

Very grateful to BCA for making acupuncture accessible to the community! Acupuncture is the only treatment that has helped relieve my chronic TMJ pain and I would not be able to afford a proper treatment plan were it not for BCA. Thuy was a consummate professional, you have no doubt from the way she works that she has a tremendous amount of experience and it has definitely shown with my results. Id recommend to anybody, especially if you havent experienced acupuncture before!

Thuy is a miracle worker! She is Mother Theresa -- healing the sick with a calm and kind demeanor, counseling those who need it, and sensing exactly what you need with just a look and feel of your pulse.I really enjoy the comfortable zen vibe when you first enter the waiting area. Its only something youll experience in Berkeley : )The receptionists are staffed volunteers, and they are warm, friendly, and professional. Relax with a cup of tea or a glass of cool water in the waiting room and await your turn in the community acupuncture room.Once you have your consultation with Thuy to check-in on your current state (prior to each session), she frees up one of the five recliners for you in the community room. She patiently needles you, and if anything feels uncomfortable, she adjusts it.The severe migraines that I had been experiencing 3-4 times a day for the past year (can you imagine!!!) and was medicating with Excedrin Migraine, immediately disappeared!If thats not enough of an endorsement, I dont know what is!?Try BCA. Give it a few sessions. You wont be sorry.
