Never in my life filed for unemployment. I see why now!The unemployment office in Benton Arkansas just told me after filling in July 2021 it could take into 16 weeks before hearing a answer whether or not I qualify for unemployment. All because of this pandemic….but you see I want to work!! A lot of people does not want to work so guess what?!? Here’s your check… not me though NO NO NO. Cut off these peoples checks and make them work!!!!!!!! The system is totally screwed up in Arkansas and maybe everywhere in the United States!

I get a letter saying call Benton office. So I call benton and they give me 2 different phone numbers. I call one and on hold for 1 hour. I renew my claim on Ezark and at the end it says call local office to process. I call benton and they say the same dang thing. So do they do anything or just a freaking switch board to transfer to different numbers?

You have to get there by 6:30am in order to get a decent spot. They are only taking 60 people per day.

I called 22 times in which 3 times they picked up the phone I heard people and then they just hung up. When I did get through the man said I had to come there or call the hot line he couldnt help me over the phone. Why are we having to stand in line for 2 hours in the heat people not wearing mask just to be told they close at 4:30 come back tomorrow. I think work force needs to hire help because they need a different way of doing it. Someone is going to have a heat stroke if not catch a deadly virus

It seems to if they are trying to prevent the spread of Covid, they would answer the phone rather than have dozens of people crowding in front of the door. And then they opened 15 minutes late.

Get there early only 60 ppl per day. ID check in and out. Thanks
