If you like car dealerships youll love Aspen dental. Drag you in x ray and rush you through different options. Run your credit and you still leave with toothache. They have no interest in returning phone calls like they promise. And even when you leave a message they have no interest in explaining why you should be a customer.Worst dental experience in my 45 years.I am updating my experience, I was requested a Deep cleaning. Had to pay out of pocket (Do not use your care credit, they will rob you). Substandard cleaning for a deep cleaning. Been to dentist before that actually care. Aspen does not and just rushes you through unless you are one of their élite with the care credit. Which I do have care credit, but was not going to let them rack up my credit limit.My suggestion is find a dentist that can explain and care about your situation. They do not.

I am from Indiana and was up here on vacation with my family. I had the worst toothache pain I have ever felt in my life. I walked into this place as soon as it opened asking for help. One of the sweetest most caring dental assistants named Angel made sure I was seen. Dr. Nehal checked out my situation and gave me all available options. I decided to just have it pulled. I did not feel anything but relief. This place did an amazing job and I would go for all my dental needs if I lived in the area. Thank you to Aspen Dental for taking the best care of me. Angel is exactly as her name describes!

Very nice people but thats about it.1. They dropped a somewhat heavy tool on my head while doing a root canal procedure...2. Forgot to give me the gel they prescribed me.3. Forgot to send my prescription so I wasted time going to Walgreens.4. Inquired about getting the gel sent to my local office. Was told I would be getting gel, mouthwash and a toothbrush.5. Went to the local office to only find out I was getting the gel. Called back and they apologized for giving me false information.I would only use this practice if you have a dental emergency.

I was very nervous about going to the dentist due to years of neglect. After being seated the young woman who attended to me Mel was the most caring,humble and gentle DA ever she made me extremely comfortable and explained everything that she was doing. Next comes in Dr Nehal and I must say I was blown away yet again by his kindness and care it was a busy day for the office but he never made me feel rushed, once again I was overwhelmed. To top off a very painful day for me the visit ended with office manager Christie she was such a delight as I tried to explain the condition of my mouth she politely responded with now its time to put yourself first I felt very blessed with my interactions with those 3 wonderful people due to me having a bad 7 days prior due to pain in my month. Let me also state and please forgive me but there were several other extremely kind people present the staff as a whole were simply great, I cant wait until my next appointment.

Was very nervous about appt knowing that teeth extractions and dentures was in my future. As I was greeted by the dental assistant Angel in the Benton Harbor MI aspen dental I was put at ease, shes very friendly and professional and explained everything that was going to happen in great detail. Dr Nehal listened to my concerns and wishes for my final results and reassured me that they are going to make sure I was going to be happy with the end results. I have just started on this journey to better teeth, but know Im in good hands with Angel and Dr Nehal.

I had to have 2 teeth extracted on emergency bases. They fit me in knowing how much pain i was in and that both teeth were infected. They gave me extra shots to make sure that it was good and numb for my comfort and to my surprise, i took ibuprofin only 2 times the 1st day and that was all i needed. I feel like a million bucks, no pain or throbbing from extraction, nothing. Thank you so much.

I went for a cleaning, and it went very well, the only part I didn’t like is that they don’t rinse your mouth very good. I left with a mouthful of pasty stuff in my mouth and in between my teeth. I wouldn’t want to have gone anywhere after wards until I cleaned my mouth. For a teeth cleaning I think you should leave feeling cleaner than you went in. Otherwise everything was good.The financial person helped me with some other matters and everybody in the office was great.

Would not recommend for anything beyond cleanings and maybe an emergency filling. Their dentist reminded me of his incompetence at least 5 times during my visit stating he wasnt experienced enough to do this that and the other thing. I left feeling very uncomfortable about his abilities and thats not something you want to feel in a dentist chair. Further, they charge me for work that will require me to see another dentist first. As if Id get a root canal done somewhere else and then just drive over to aspen for the crown. Seriously dont visit Aspen if youre looking for professionals.

It was the first visit my wife made to this dental office. The staff were very efficient and friendly. We do not have dental insurance, but she was treated no differently. She had the full attention of the Dental Assistant, then the Doctor, and the Dental Hygienist. Once the visit was completed she had a private space to discuss next steps and full costs. They even helped her reduce the cost where they could without compromising her dental health. We would highly recommend this dental office to all.

Tried to make a appointment, was called multiple times to move it. Def. picking a new place that I can actually get into.

I needed extraction of a molar. All team members were professional and extreemly competent. I especially appreciate the 24/7 phone number. I have no dental insurance and full dental scan and xrays were free. Oral exam was very through. Dr Malik and Melissa explained every aspect of extraction and what to expect I felt I was in good hands throughout the entire experience.

The staff is friendly and professional. The Dental Hygienist, Chloe, did an excellent job of cleaning my teeth. She was gentle, but thorough and quick. My previous Dental Hygienist used to leave my mouth sore from all the times she poked my gums while scraping my teeth. Chloes gentle approach did a better job without the pain. I highly recommend Aspen Dental.

I suffered with a bad tooth for a month. My original dentist referred me to a specialist because he didnt pull teeth and I couldnt wait any longer. Called aspen dental they got me in in two days and five minutes the problem was solved. My only complaint is I didnt call sooner

UPDATED: They called me back saying I needed to pay for an oral cancel test because my insurance didn’t cover (They didn’t even actually performed this test) I am in state of shock! This place is a scam! | Be careful with this place! They staff is very nice and the dental I got was satisfactory. I’m giving them two starts because they prey on people. The first quote for my first visit was over $900 WITH insurance... upon closer inspection they had charged three times for the same item and they had added even an electronic tooth brush into the quote. I am not alone, my partner visited this place months ago and told me he had a similar experience. I’m staying away for these corporate dental offices.

My experience was terrible. The lady bearly cleaned my teeth. She cleaned my top back ones and bottom ones and that was it.

Bizarre, the two employees getting my x-rays were arguing the entire time. They spoke and acted as if I wasnt there while fighting over how to handle the equipment and what questions to ask me. It made me really uncomfortable.

I’ll start of by saying the staff is great and the doctor’s do a great job! But the reason for the one star review is because whoever runs their billing is a straight thief I have been charged for the same bill 3 times I paid the first one as soon as I got it, it was $20 I got a bill for the same thing a month later $20 again (at this point I haven’t been there since the first appointment) 2 weeks ago I got ANOTHER bill for the same thing (it’s been 5 months since I last visited) this time the bill was $91 and they sent me this bill from a claims company. I refuse to believe this is an “insurance mistake” considering it’s only aspen dental charging me multiple times for one appointment.

This Dental Office is very professional and clean. There is a friendly atmosphere and the work they do is outstanding. Everyone is top notch from the person who greets you at the front desk, the Dental hygienists, Office Manager and Dentist. I’ve never been to a Dental appointment where I couldn’t wait to come back until Aspen Dental in Benton Harbor ☺️.

I made an appointment for 1 pm on May 29 and was told to arrive 15 minutes early to fill out paper work. I arrived at 1240 pm to a locked door and a note that said the office is closed for lunch and a staff meeting until 1 pm. Nice first impression. Shortly before 1, a staff person took the note down and unlocked the door. No welcome, no sorry no anything. The staff that I interacted with from then on seemed pleasant, but I was shuffled around from room to room and different people switched off for well over and hour before I even saw a doctor. When the doctor did arrive, he did go over my plan to remove my tooth, but told me it would have to wait until the infection would clear up, about another week to ten days. The out of pocket expense for the full treatment was over $3000. I asked for some pain medication ans the doctor said they dont prescribe it anymore and gave me a prescription for the infection saying when the infection was gone, the pain would be gone as well. The doctor was very busy and the prescription was sent to the wrong pharmacy. Mistakes happen. When we were consulting with the staff about our options we caught the mistake and asked that the script be sent to the correct pharmacy and were told that the doctor would resend it at the end of the day. We insisted on seeing him so the matter could be corrected and he was quite ruse and short, insisting that I choose the pharmacy and he made no mistake. His nurse even said she heard me choose that pharmacy. First off, i just moved to Michigan and had never heard of the city he was talking about. Second, the nurse blatantly lied when she agreed with the doctor. Third, the staff was running around and talking about their personnel lives the entire time I was there, which to me was very unprofessional, I was made to feel I had to choose treatment on the sport and pay 50% down before my tooth could be removed and get me out of pain. Talk about high pressure tactics. To say I was not happy is the least of it.

From the time I walked in everyone was friendly. Cam was great. The only issue i had was i was there for one thing. Should of been out in an hour. Instead almost 3 hours later i was home. I understand they want the best for their patients, but i dont need to see 4 different people for a tooth extraction.

The person greeting us seemed to have an attitude and did not have a face mask on.My husband went there primarily for a consult, updated full mouth X-RAYS and a referral for extensive work that needed to be done.With Covid-19 in affect I couldnt go in with my husband, but the Dentist did allow me in afterwards so I could hear what went on.In general, at any Dr. office, the Doctors are usually pretty good where the office staff need an attitude adjustment.The female at the front desk greeting patients needed to have a mask onWe got the referral.Theres always room for improvement!

The workers there are dynamic. My experience was awesome. The person who started my IV was an expert. I have floating veins and I usually get pricked five times but he got it the first try. The lady that control music tried to allow me to choose the song that suit me. Everyone was concerned with my comfort. The doctor had hands of an angel. I was treated with respect and kindness. The person who helped with the paper work was patient. She gave me options and explained the importance of making payments on time so that in 18 months I’d have it payed off without interest. I would not trade my experience. This was the best experience I have ever had at the dentist.

My last dentist I went to it was very painful and very embarrassing because of some of the things they did so I have not been to a dentist in 5 years I finally got the nerve up to set an appointment with Aspen Dental I was so amazed with how respectful and caring they were I can now go to a dentist not just any dentist but Aspen only never will I ever go to a different dentist office I love the people I was with they were great I would highly recommend anybody family members friends to visit Aspen Dental if you have issues with your teeth what a wonderful great team they are

Theyre fast, efficient, friendly--I have yet to have any pain with any kind of procedure--the staff at all levels is professional, empathetic, and just seem interested in who you are and what your teeth need. The staff was nice and the doctor we saw was great. We were pleased with the overall pricing and it is awesome that they are in network for our insurance. My only concern was with the cleanliness of the room my son was examined in as there were drops of blood on the floor and on the side of the armrest of the chair. Im hoping that was a rare occurrence.

The dental hygienist (whose name I unfortunately didnt catch) did a fabulous job not only running around and helping/working on several people at a time, but also gave thourough answers to any questions I had. Keep up the good work guys and I hope another hygienist joins in for the Friday shift so youre not so overworked!

As a Veteran I responded to the notice by Aspen Dental about providing Veterans with free dental care during June of this year. I asked other Veterans if it was true and was it really free. I received nothing but good feedback. I called up and made an appointment. When I got there i was treated with courtesy and respect and the first appointment went well. My teeth were inspected and was told I needed to come back (at no cost) to have a small cavity repaired and a split tooth prepared for a cap. I came for second visit which went well until the end. After the cavity was filled and the bad tooth prepared and a temporary cap put in place i was told to make and appointment to have the permanent cap placed. Upon leaving i was asked to step into an office. in the office i was told I would have to pay for the permanent cap and it would be about $1000.00. I did not know what to say as I was caught completely off guard. I was explained the staff were providing their time for free but the cap would need to be sent out to be made and they had to pay for that. As my wife and i are on fixed income and she is disabled this not in our budget. My concern is at no time during both visits was there anything said about paying for anything for any reason. If I had known I would not have let them work on the split tooth, but it was worked on and prepared with no mention of my having to pay for anything until it was too late. I now have temporary cap that will need to be replaced whether i want or like it or not. I do not believe it was intentional but I felt like I had been set up and now had to pay or be left with a temporary cap. Because i was not expecting to pay anything I was a little frustrated when told and forgot to mention we do have dental insurance. when it is all said and done I came down to a price that by redoing our budget we will be able to make monthly payments. I will be going back to get the work finished up and I believe I will be happy with the results.What I will do is also recommend Aspen Dental to Veterans during the special offer for Veterans but i will inform the Veteran to ask a lot of questions so there will be no unexpected surprises like mine. I would expect Aspen Dental to insure in the future they inform any Veterans (especially to older vets) that there may be cost and under what conditions. its only fair to the Veterans that trust Aspen Dental.

Dr. Michael Mashini is gentle, kind, and understanding. He takes time to listen and then explain things. I had two small cavities filled in no time and without novocaine. Yeah, hes that good! Jasmine, the dental hygentist is outstanding, Brooke and the girls in the office are very nice and accommodating.

I hadnt been to a dentist in about 10 years. I brush my teeth and floss regularly, dont drink any sugary drinks, and try not to eat too much sugar. I didnt realize how important it is to regularly see a dentist, even if nothing is wrong. I highly recommend visiting one @ regular intervals. That said, they did a great job cleaning my teeth. My teeth felt like marbles after they got done with them, a wonderful feeling to be sure.They are very nice people, and do a great job. I had a great time; they were very surprised that I would come in smiling and had fun even when it was painful. They do a great job with numbing the mouth so as to minimize pain during cleaning (although some is unavoidable). Even during the sonic cleaning: I was having a great time.I am not the biggest fan of the TVs though; but I guess its good to have background noise.The rate that they charge for their service is extremely affordable; and they have payment plans. I highly recommend them! The girls who work there are also very attractive and very kind, which makes the experience pleasant as-well. Dont delay, schedule an appointment today!

I havent been to a dentist in about 13years. The staff were all very polite and down to earth. I had a lot of things going on being as I havent been into a dentist office for over a decade, but the staff were encouraging and helped me understand all the things that were going on. Most importantly they were able to help me understand my insurance coverage for my multiple procedures. Im extremely happy with my experience thus far with Aspen Dental.

Aspen Dental is the place to be for your oral health. Ive been with them for a few years now and I have been pleased with their professional service. Unfortunately, the wait time I recently experienced was unacceptable! When visiting Aspen Dental Im usually seen within 10 minutes for a cleaning. With my recent visit I waited nearly a hour for a cleaning. I hope this doesnt occur again.

Everyone was friendly and welcoming from the start. The xray tech was so nice and made me feel comfortable. And the doctor has a cool, confidence and really knows his stuff. I dont think Ive ever smiled so much at the dentist. 😄That is until I saw the price tag.🤨 I guess I cant afford Aspen when they want thousands of dollars with my insurance. And would not do my free cleaning, instead they wanted to charge me over $600. It kinda feels like they are all in sales trying to make money off others pain. Then after my extraction I developed dry socket and was in horrible pain but was told to let it heal that I must of smoked as soon as I left the office. Basically it was my fault. It took weeks to start feeling better. Then I had peices of tooth coming out for another week. Not a great experience for me.

Horrible!! I will not give any stars. Aspen dental in Benton Harbor Michigan was the worst experience Ive ever had. The dentist went to pull a bad tooth! Well was in the chair for over 4 hours with my mouth open and I suffer from TMJ. He broke the tooth off and after working on it for hours he had to refer me to an oral surgeon. We paid ahead of time and the dentist said there was no charge, but we did not get our money back. It was just credited toward another appointment. Really??? You think I would go back after that!!!

This is the nicest dentist office I have been to. Never waited more than 5 or 10min to be seen for my appointment. Prices are reasonable even with dental insurance. I had my upper teeth pulled today and they did an excellent painless job and where very thorough. Dentist Yousif did my extraction and did a perfect job, was kind, courteous and very thorough. I recommend this Aspen office to everyone.

No one enjoys getting a tooth pulled and last time I had one done I was in pain for some time afterwards, but the Dr. was very skilled at his job and 1 week later my mouth is healing well. I would have given 5 stars for the visit if it wasnt for the fact that I sat for a very long time waiting for the procedure.

Very helpful, work done well, and when they couldnt do something they referred me to someone who could. Very informative, business oriented but treated as a person.

I always enjoy talking with Jasmine! She also isn’t super rough when cleaning teeth it’ll be sad when she leaves.

I am a new patient.my initial contact with the receptionist was very welcoming. I was checked in and after a short wait was called to the back. Everyone seemed to have a warm and calming demeaner.I have experienced dentists that didnt make me happy. Aspen at this point has given me confidence the level of dentistry from the entire staff will be very likeable.

I was well greeted by Desk Staff. I got in on time. The place is CLEAN, MODERN TECHNOLOGY, AND KNOWLEDGEABLE STAFF! The Dr was welcoming and made me feel comfortable and with less anxiety with his reassurance I would be recieving his skills with care. My Dental hygienists were friendly. One was carefully detailed with my teeth cleaning! I really appreciated her process and education before, during and after my cleaning. I wish I could remember her name. 🤔I reccomend this location to ANYONE! I have no desire to search elsewhere.
