Recently, I was given the opportunity to participate in the financial mini course, How to Quit a Job. Was it a life-savor! I already plan to quit my job (my last day is this Friday) but had not looked at what I needed to survive, let alone thrive. Because of this program, I have direction, I have goals and I have hope. Ive participated in other financial programs before but because I was already overwhelmed with debt, was scared, didnt believe I could get out of debt and the program I was using was so extensive, I just gave up. I was ready for this when it came along this time. The pain of being in debt made me ready. But heres the thing, the difference was in the program! It is simple, focused, quick and painless! I actually had a date night with my finances! Lighting a candle softened the mood so I could face my fears and see the light at the end of the tunnel. Dressing for the occasion helped me take the date seriously and really want to make a good impression on myself. LOL! It worked! I look forward to my next Financial Date Night! More than anything, I believe I can do this. Im not afraid anymore. I have a plan that I can work with and the belief that I will be debt free by following some simple steps.
