This is THE best Rite-Aid & the best pharmacy. I always regret moving my Rxs elsewhere. The pharmacists & staff really care, will solve IT system issues, insurance probs if they can & are happy to communicate with other Rite-Aid stores come up with awesome workarounds. Its small but its a good store.

They have a very friendly staff, sometimes prescriptions take a little long to be filled, but they try to accommodate everyone.

We have 2 pharmacies in Benicia, Raleys and Rite Aid. Hands down, they dont even compare. They are always friendly, but more importantly they are on it. On many occasions they have filled prescriptions in less than 5 minutes. Rarely does anyone get that kind of service at any store nonetheless at a pharmacy. I also want to say that even the cashiers at the front are always professional and friendly as well. No need to say names, though I know everyones name, as they are all top notch employess. Love this local store. Thank you all for the personal care with a freindly demeanor. Actually makes me want to work there just because of the atmosphere.

I generally love this pharmacy however on 9/10/2020 there was a pharmacist by the name of Adam and some other lady I am not familiar with working.....I was told on 9/9 that the medication had to be ordered and it would be ready in the morning ...now the entire house is sick ( different issues not the flu... and I am annoyed at 6:17 pm I am told there is a 2 and 1/2 hour wait to pick up medication that should had been ready this morning .... when I asked if I could talk to the pharmacist I was told there would be at LEAST a 5 minute wait.. so basically I have 15-20 minutes before the store closes to pick up my medications ..... I would think if you were that backed up you should probably call in floaters to help ..When the two pharmacists that are regularly there they sometimes say it might take a half an hour 10-15 minutes later and most are usually get a text saying my prescription is ready....I usually give the store amazing rating but this is ridiculous and I’m reading it only based off of today’s situation hopefully you guys are able to get your normal pharmacist back

I have always had nothing but great experiences with the Pharmacy here. I dont even have to tell them my name,they take the time to get to know the people that come in. They go out of their way to make sure you get the best price (wellness or ins cards). I really appreciate the personal touch.

The only time youll see a smiling face behind the pharmacy is in there pictures. I tried to call the pharmacy to ask about a ten day over due prescription. Before I can finish my sentence I am interrupted by a crabby sounding woman who wants my b day. I told her it would be nice if she waited for me to finish speaking. She put me on hold and never returned. This is not the first time rudeness from the pharmacy staff has left me steaming. Looking for a new pharmacy.Talked to the manager of the store and he took care of all my concerns. When your sick and in pain you want to talk to someone who listens. Thank you Robert for listening.

This review is in regards to the pharmacy only. I was very uncomfortable with an infection that I needed to get my antibiotic for. My doctor phoned in the prescription to Rite Aid, Solano Square, a little before 8:30. Since the drug store posts its hours as open until 10, I figured Id give them a little time to fill the prescription and then go pick it up. When I got there, the prescription was there, but they hadnt typed it up yet. And they were closing (at nine, not 10 as posted on-line). So, instead of seeing that I was distressed, typing up the prescription right then, and letting me get my medication, they argued that they didnt have my prescription typed up because there were others in front of me (not people. There were no other people there, just the paper work). And they refused to fill my prescription or even give me the paper prescription so that I could go to another pharmacy to fill it. I was left with no medication for the night. I found this to be unbelievably regimented thinking, showed a total lack of problem solving ideas, non-empathetic (after all, the people who come to a pharmacy are sick), and just, well, stupid, really.

Ive used the pharmacy for years. The service had taken a huge dive. The district manger overhauled everything. The pharmacy staff as of spring 2017 are fast, helpful, and incredibly professional.

Rite Aid ice cream is my favorite in all of Benicia. The staff are always friendly and the ice cream is tasty for a great price.

Shopping here saves time and the pharmacy is fast. Ice cream during daylight hours.

RiteAid in Benicia is very nice.. I have been treated with respect and good customer courtesy.. The people are friendly & the pharmacy dept.. Is always good to my Mom & myself.. The copays are decent prices and I love the Plenti point system. . Its a great way to save. Thumbs up !

Pharmacy never has prescriptions on time and pharmacy staff is always swamped. Get more staff or new excuses.

They dont start filling a prescription until your there in person and you wait the 20 minutes even if the doctor called it in the day before they are slow and quite rude
