WORSE PLACE EVER. I can’t find less than one star. Came here to get COVID test for my seven years old son. Took us two hours to get just the test. Nurse was very rude; she seems to hate her job, very bad attitude. She has no manner and/or professionalism to be around kids. She kept making faces and turning her back on us and checking her phone while my son who slept while waiting was little cranky. She was not paying any attention while taking the temperature, just shaking her head for no reason, very inpatient. She put Sphygmomanometer cuffs around his arm so tight that he almost cried because she had it too tight and was taking forever while shes just standing there without any explanation of what the hell is going on. Literally no communication, explanation or interaction as if shes doing a great favor to us by working there. I had to intervene to stop his suffering and told her please take this thing off. He literally had marks on his arms. Not sure if she hate kids or just a terrible person with a terrible attitude. Next, instead of assigning us room, she sent us back in the waiting area where we waited for another half an hour. She came back reading her notes and stating my sons name and as soon as she looked at us, she turned back and said, not you guys, no room is available right now. She took the other patient in (so she just lied to me). My son was shivering with cold, waiting there for almost an hour and half. Finally, another nurse/nurse assistant came and took us inside and took care of everything. She was very nice, very professional but the lady who took the vitals is very dangerous to be in medical field. She needs to get her evaluation done. I think she needs help. This is my last time here. I understand everyone is going through rough time but I think she is mentally sick. Not paying someone for being rude /unprofessional. Last name is Marlyn I think, the only African American lady taking the vitals that time. The other nurse/nurse assistant and front desk staff was really nice, polity, and professional. I will be filing a formal complaint with the state BON (or whatever licensing authority is to make sure she is being watched and I hope gets terminated).Just noticed on discharge notes: the patient was offered flue shot but refused (which is a lie, she didnt mention anything about the flu shot).

Friendly, compassionate staff. Even when the waiting room seems moderately full, the wait times are reasonable, especially compared to a hospital emergency room. On my recent visit on a Sunday afternoon, I was in and out in under three hours with an on-site treatment and prescriptions sent to my pharmacy (theyll fill them on-site if they carry and have it in stock). If urinalysis doesnt yield worrying results, they draw a blood sample, so the longer youre there, generally the better condition youre in. They need that time to determine whether or not you really should be at the hospital, and to diagnose you correctly, so patience is key. Bring a book, smart phone, etc. My only complaint is that the waiting room echoes, which makes it difficult to hear when your name is called. Make sure they have your correct cellphone number!

Went it to try to get a physical, and was rudely denied the ability to do so. Both registration and the other person I spoke with didn’t identify themselves or their roles. The registration lady had an attitude and the nurse kept interrupting me as I was speaking. The provider refused to see me or even speak with me, or the registration staff refused to tell the provider that I wanted to have a conversation about my situation. Even if doing physicals on patients without established primary care was against their policy (which I doubt) my overall experience and interactions should not have been so lack luster

Clean, kind and professional. We came by for covid testing in the evening and everyone was very professional and nice. After a short chat with the Dr. on staff, he was very helpful with other issues as well. We got in fairly quickly but we did wait a little while for the test results but that seems fair as they had a small lab on the premises. I will definitely recommend this facility to others needing urgent care with kind, compassionate and professional staff.

More like, Patient Eventually.Two visits during the same week, not overly busy and massive wait both times. Watched numerous patients arrive and be seen first. All seemed to not be in a dire emergency, definitely a disorganized mess; recommend not waiting in car as dialing a phone number appears too difficult.Doctor barely said anything, was handed paperwork to learn what to do.

DO NOT GO TO THIS FACILITY. If I could I would give this facility zero stars I went in for an ear infection and was given some ear medicine that had sulfate in it. Sounds like it’s not a big deal, WRONG! The problem I am allergic to anything with sulfa in it. Now I have been to other locations before so my allergies are well documented. And not to mention I verbally advised the doctor when asked. Days later my ears are burning, face swollen, and in PAIN. So I go the ER with the drops in hand and guess what? The drops have sulfate in it! Now if this is not malpractice then I don’t know what is… don’t worry my attorney has been contacted a lawsuit will follow. So take this word of caution and DO NOT GO TO THIS FACILITY. This could have been so much worse but thank God it wasn’t!

I had chest pain during the night, I thought I got minor heart attack. I walked in Beltsville Patient First by noon to get full x-ray, blood, urine, and EKG tests while I was waiting to see the doctor. Doctor explained the test results very clearly and diagnosed I had bronchitis and some liguid in my ear. The doctor gave me prescription and handed me the medicines while I was still talking to her. 6 hours later my discomfort and chest pain was gone. I have been doing well since then. Its 10 minutes driving from my home and there is no need to make appointment. Its great to have peace of mind that I can walk in this clinic which is neater and better equipped than my family doctor. The doctor is the board certified Doctor too. It was a new and very efficient experience. I sure will visit this clinic when I need to see a doctor immediately.

Giving experience a 5 star. But bedside manner of PA who saw me was awful. I have the name so when I go again I will request not being seen by him. Made comments that should have been delivered nicer. Also mixed up papers for myself and my husband since we were both seen. I revived some of his and he mine even though we were in different rooms. Requested to be together in same room and it seemed to be ignored.

Worst customer service ever especially for being an urgent care facility. Front desk person Jasmine was very rude and should not be working with sick patients. She has no patience, very rude and seems like she doesn’t care about her job with the attitude she has. Anyone who really needs a job would be better than her. For the cost of services being so high they should at least invest in personnel who at least act like they care about patients let alone their job. Let’s not talk about the long wait time of more than 2 hours and once you get seen the doctor will rush your exam because they really DONT CARE, they’re just there for the 300$ plus prescriptions and add on exams they’ll say you “need” and charge you for. Do not recommend coming here to be treated so poorly. If you want to get treated please do it somewhere where they care.

Do not go here. Highly unprofessional and rude staff, including the receptionist and doctors. I went in after an auto accident to be evaluated and was up front with what I needed, that is a CT scan and check up. The receptionist took my information and advised me to wait. After an hour wait, the doctors rudely snapped at me saying they don’t offer those services. The receptionist then lied to the doctor in front of me saying that I asked for something different. I left because it was a huge waste of my time. Thanks for nothing.

I have been here twice, both times the PROVIDER was very inconsiderate/rude. The 1st time at this location Nikita Renee Green PA acted as if I was just another number and I was wasting her time. Just wanted to get me out. Didn’t seem to want to even give a cream for a bad burn on my leg. The 2nd time was S Rhoden-SA. I was explaining I was having fluttering in my chest and felt weird. My PCP suggested I see them or urgent care for blood work/ EKG due to recently going up on thyroid medication. Before I could finish explaining how I was feeling he interrupted me as if he was scolding a child (I am 40 years old) and said “ No! we don’t do that! No, we are not your PCP’s lab! I was very taken back by his response. I was there because I was so scared of the symptoms I was experiencing. I also had a very long wait time just to be treated like this. I have worked in a doctors office for over 12 years and never would I EVER treat patient’s this way. It’s one thing for the staff not to be professional (which shouldn’t happen) but when the providers have an awful attitude, YOU HAVE A PROBLEM. You can’t blame your staff for a bad attitude problem when their higher authority figures have the same attitude problems. Your patient’s are there because they do not feel well. A little sympathy and compassion is all your patient’s need. You never know when you may be in the same position.

The entire medical team was professional, efficient, engaging, and friendly. They were quick and attentive during my encounter with each individual. The team seemed to enjoy their jobs and ensured that my medical needs were met. The physicians assiant who treated me provided valuable information regarding her expertise in kinesiology. This was particularly helpful given i sustained an injury related to exercising and improper movement. That was greatly appreciated.

I have had good experiences here and bad ones. Mostly good but there are some unpleasant doctors here that I have dealt with. Usually the wait times are fast but my most recent visit I waited longer than necessary and the Doctor was rude. Usually I have the Director & she is very sweet & accommodating. Not a bad center though, way better than the one in Laurel that’s for sure!

Wouldn’t recommend this location. I understand that they’re a limited number of doctors available and they’re gonna be situations that require more of an immediate response but my experience here just wasn’t the best. Despite them possibly having an off day as I overheard that were a few call offs.. I’ve been to other locations before, and this one I’d probably not return to. I sat in the room waiting for the doctor for over an hour in pain. When you’re in pain 1 minute feels like 10 and I would’ve appreciated updates on when I would be seen from the other staff that were present and had time to hold conversations right outside the room. I shouldn’t have to learn about the possible reasons the doctor would be delayed from staff conversations. The small gesture of checking in can be very reassuring when you’re in pain and definitely would’ve eased some of the anxiety I have around doctors offices in general. Not only that but with all the time I spent waiting, the doctor came in looked at me for 5 seconds and wrote me a prescription. Over an hour of waiting for 5 minutes of actual service.

I went in today for a COVID 19 test because a co worker tested positive for COVID 19 , and they told me it’s a two hour wait time that they will call me . well they called me with in an hour witch is not bad if they didn’t tell me it was a two hour wait I Went to run an errand thinking I had plenty of time I called back and they told me I had to sign in again after more waiting they told me they don’t do COVID test for patients who dose not have COVID like symptoms even after I told them I be exposed to some one who tested positive I’m totally dissatisfied with patients first

I absolutely hated the service received from the doctor that attended me when I went to the Beltsville Patient First. It was one of the worst visits I’ve had at any Patient First. I can’t recall the name of the doctor but I do remember it started with the letter B I believe. She was beyond rude. She didn’t seem like she wanted to have anything to do with seeing anyone. She spent the majority if the brief visit asking me why I hadn’t don’t this or why I hadn’t done that as opposed to showing care and compassion. I felt like she just wanted to push me out. She even refused to allow me to get an X-ray. I absolutely hated this visit with a passion.

Came in for a Covid-19 test because I had a headache, muscle pain, and sore throat . Their website and information sheet says theres no charge for the test as long as you have a valid drivers license and social. When you come in they ask you for your card so they can put on file, so I gave it to them. I was discharged with no instructions whatsoever. I came home only to find out I was charged $208 on the card, didnt get a receipt nor a formal discharge. I called them and they said they charged me for a flu test, for seeing the doctor, and for checking out my symptoms. The front desk, the nurse, and Dr. never discussed any prices with me on site AND WAS NOT GIVEN A RECEIPT. I spoke with the manager and the manager couldnt tell me why I was not given a receipt and why I was not told about the charges.

Intial welcome impression was harsh. The individual Jasmine was my first contact she did not say hello upon me entering she just demanded I use sanitizer. I completely understand with COVID-19 sanitation is necessary, however being greeted first would have be nice. As I sat and waited to be formally checked in I watched Jasmine continue this rude behavior to all the patients. As a patient it was very disheartening to watch. Even during the check in process Jasmine was cold and mechanical. I would recommend she is NOT initial contact for patients. The triage nurse was better, she was pleasent and patient with me. I was there strictly for a COVID test, she made me feel comfortable and understood my anxiety toward the nose exam. The facility deos charge your co pay for the exam. Overall it was not the worst experience but I will NOT being going back to spend my money where I feel disrespected at the very beginning of my visit.

Staff members in the back were not very friendly, seemed bothered that I came. Physician didn’t do anything besides give me medication. Front desk was best interaction I had as she signed me in. If you’re looking for a place that will actually do something to help, this isn’t the place. However if you’re just looking for a prescription they might be the place for you.

Not only one of the best urgent care experiences of my life but one of the best medical experiences of my life. I came in with a bleeding wound and the receptionist got me through the administrative junk in a matter of minutes. Both nurses and the doctor I saw were so pleasant and kept me calm as they treated me. The doctor chatted with me as she gave me stitches, which helped massively, as I can be quite a baby about pain at times. I was in and out within an hour.I had a similarly pleasant experience getting my stitches out, although the wait time was quite a bit longer, but I assume they were busy due to it being a weeknight. Again, the doctor was willing to chat with me and ease my nerves — plus we had a super lovely conversation! I would recommend this Patient First to anyone.

The staff is awesome. The receptionist was extremely friendly and made me feel as though I was at my doctors office. The back rooms are slightly toasty but nothing too bad. The care of the nurse was superb. He seemed to understand my concerns as well as be personable which is hard to find during a global pandemic.

Having moved from Dallas Texas and has been using College Park Urgent Care for years I obviously has lost taste of how a quality care should be until I step my feet inside Patient First Beltsville yesterday. My awesome experience starting from the front desk officer Tai, the nurse that took my vital and finally the Physician Assistant Lori Rodey can be described in one world Professionalism. The total time spent from registration, vital, consultation and finally discharge was 40 minutes, I have never seen that before in the US. I didnt have to wait for over an hour for my vital and another hour to see physician. I recovered immediately just for level of caring I received from this clinics. I recommend Patients First for anyone that value quality especially busy professionals. Well Done Guys!!!!!!

Be aware of this place!. First visit they charge you full amount on front; and then a week later they do the same with “ follow up visit”.But even though we PAID, we still received a bill for those visits. I called the billing department to address my concerns and someone(male) with a” Rude” attitude told me: “ that he does NOT know what happened, Because He Was Not There” :/Wow outstanding customer service 👏🏻👏🏻 This place have 👎.

Im disappointed in my visit to Patient First this evening. I got here around 7:50pm. There was not a wait in the waiting room. I was called back to check in within 15 minutes of arrival. My vitals were taken not long after that. I had an x-ray done and have been waiting in the room for almost an hour. It is not busy here at all. This place is not efficient. After looking at the other reviews, I see that this is common theme. I can understand the wait if it was busy. It is not!! They are just slow bopping around here. There isnt anyone even waiting in the waiting room. Please do not come here.

I am thankful that this place exists for my urgent needs! I don’t like making appointments to my PCP office for things that I need quick. I love that I am able to walk in when I choose to. The staff is amazing and friendly and kind. The only thing was wait time for my vaccination was a bit overboard. A system to manage patients coming in for vaccinations should be formulated to decreased unnecessary wait times. Otherwise, I love how it serves the community.

This was my first visit to any Patient First ever. From the time I walked in I was greeted with smiles and I waited no longer than 5 minutes to be triaged. The front desk woman is very nice and a delight and seems to like her job which is great. The male physician who assessed me was very polite and concerning which is reassuring as a pregnant woman. He made sure he actively listened to me and directed me around the office and made me feel welcome also he brought me some water which was very kind of him. The doctor that prescribed me my medicine was also phenomenal she quickly let me know what was going on and what medication I’d be taking all while not making me feel rushed. I would definitely recommend the Patient First of Beltsville to friends and family. Thank you!

I have been to this place on three occasions. I forgot before but I will not again. The intake staff must be from Eastwick because 2 of the 3 witches were on when I had to take my wife here. The secondary one with the turban is particularly nasty. She prides herself in rudeness and on this day choose the shout past the receptionist who appeared to be more concerned with her manicure. Covid-19 is not a mask for bad behavior and ineptitude rather it appears to be the hallmark of this shakedown operation. Came in to find out my wife had pneumonia. We provided Ms. Nasty with a complete list of her [ my wifes ] medications which she refused to copy and include with her file. The records that were annexed were from a previous visit and are now inaccurate which complicated my wifes follow-up. Wherein the doctor suggested my wife take Motrin for her residual pain which reacts adversely with several of her other medications (I.e blood thinners) which the doctor would have known if the intake people did their jobs.I have rarely heard anything good about Patient First but I can tell you this location does not represent the chain well and reinforces caveat emptor. The doctors and technicians are pleasant enough but those creatures out front leave a great deal to be desired and the Administrator must be inept too unless these women are relatives or a bet lost. $260 later and I am totally unsatisfied and recommend for anyone even those who have insurance that would accept Patient First... I say... PASS THEM BY. I hope someone at corporate secret shops this location. Beltsville MD. and as for the Merry band of misfits I for one offer the lowest rating possible. The Administration should be ashamed because this operation is a malpractice case waiting to happen.Finally this place provides receipts and vital information on thermal paper. Over time the ink disappears. Make your own backup copies dont get caught a** out.

I called and requested the nurse to fax back the prescription medication refill request from my pharmacy for Gout ,coz my left foot was swollen and its Painful to walk. The nurse told me they denied the refill request coz i need to come to be seen by my primary Doctor and get the refill for Pain. Let me start by saying how i like patient first because check in is easy & front desk is very nice & you get called back pretty fast. A huge plus for me is you can get your prescriptions from there so theres no need to go to a pharmacy afterwards which is very convenient for me. also if needed they do labs & or x-rays. Now the wait times are terrible once your in a room waiting for the doctor to come in and check you. Otherwise I recommend patient first.

The people I met were well informed, super polite and simply marvelous. I wish every visit to a medical center could be like this. I was taken back in no time. Got vital and a strep test immediately. I had to wait a while for the doctor but it’s possible she was waiting for test results, I love the charger for smart phones yes I was running low and reading the sign on the wall realized there was a charger right next to me. You guys thought of everything. Thank you! I love the on sight pharmacy. I felt bad and just wanted to go home and go to bed. If you didn’t give me the medicine right there, I would have waited until the next day. But the doctor handed me the medicine directly and I took it before sleeping last night. I love the doctor. She’s calm, reassuring and clearly knows what is happening in the medical world.

Came in to see if I could get a prescription written for my inhalers because I have asthma and I got tested at this location for COVID-19 (which unfortunately came back positive). Was told to quarantine for 10 days and one day after symptoms disappeared. Its been 11 days, I still have a dry cough because of my asthma. Got refused services because they cant treat asthma here..? But the website says you do? I also didnt ask for a breathing treatment, I needed a prescription written but I have to go to a hospital for that..? The black front desk lady is super unprofessional too, taking and using other peoples face shields.

Unprofessional service. Customer PII/HIPAA database is not well protected and synchronized across allpatietfirst facilites. My wife was at this same PatientFirst location for flu shot few months ago. She had to reregistered her PII and insurance to the system as patientfirst was unable to pull her information from the other patienfirst location. Now she came back for her skin examination and they were unable to locate her information again. This raises the flag of their system integrity and security. Horrible....

Even in the middle of a pandemic, every Patient First staff member that I spoke to from initially making the appointment right until I walked out the door was assuring, helpful, and kind. They even called me ahead of my appointment to tell me there were cancellations and I could come earlier if I wanted. They were fantasic! Thanks Patient First!

All the staff on duty were incredibly friendly, even though it was a very busy evening. I was very impressed with their kindness and transparency. I will highly recommend this location and will definitely return when / if needed in the future. I have been to several different walk in clinics over the years, and have never been so satisfied. The staff was really comforting and professional. It was a much shorter weight time then having to go to emergency. I was in and out in about an hour with a filled prescription. I was even able to cancel to appointment with my regular doctor for this matter.It felt great to not worry and be to treated so nicely instead of like a body. It is a cross between a family doctor and a hospital. The staff honestly cares.

December 23rd, I had symptoms like headache, body ache and fever. Came to this urgent care and the doctor came almost after 40 mins. She checked my ears and the nose said I have sinus infection and gave antibiotics(My home test said 102f fever but she said im normal). I asked should i should take COVID test too. She said as long you have sinus and no fever you dont have to. I was really not happy with her service and I came home with those tablets. As I was confused, I didnt take the tablet that night and next day I got a loss of smell and cough. next day I did a covid test and now the result is POSITIVE. If i trust her, i would have simply take those antibiotics and spread covid to all my family members. For god sake, please listen our symptoms carefully and speak with us. 1star is too much.

At the reception desk the staff was very rude she didn’t even say hello or any kind of greetings never made eye-contact as she was talked with a coworker, like I wasn’t there. I won’t recommend it. Worst customer service. They really need better training I did not finish the consultation I just leave.

I went here to get titers, a physical exam and a vaccination for medical school. I went on a Wednesday evening and my total visit time was only 2 hours which I was very impressed with because it is an urgent care and I was going in for a non urgent visit. The staff were all very friendly, informative and quick!
