Low class, trash, scraping the bottom of the barrel, a disease future hot spot- The Cost Cutters real brandNever use this establishment! Holly was my stylist, and she was the only one who was civil, much less friendly. Another stylist, Pam, had a customer who was blasting videos from her phone and then had a loud and obnoxious phone conversation. During this conversation she used profanity and discussed her plans to go to a strip club. When I asked her to refrain from sharing her videos and conversations with the rest of us, Pam aggressively barked at me to, Mind my own business and followed that up with a few other choice words and phrases. Her manners only deteriorated from there. She later yelled at me and did nothing to stop her client from cursing at me. For a moment, I thought her client was going to hit me.On top of all of this, the hygiene in is this practice is absolutely deplorable. They dont sweep up all of the hair between clients, they dont sanitize chairs between clients, the conditions were cramped, and no one was wearing a mask. If anyone in Beloit should contract Covid, I wouldnt be surprised if they can trace it back to this franchise.I only chose Cost Cutters because I couldnt get an appointment anywhere else. I will never make that mistake again. I went in for a color and cut. I declined the cut so I could leave as fast as possible.Holly, at least, had the business sense to give me $5 off. She was the only one in the salon who has any kind of business sense and civility. The manager was not there, but the one present closest to that position did nothing while I was verbally abused.Cost Cutters, you need to do some major work to protect your brand. Your brand is utter trash. Specifically, your employees need training in hygiene, common etiquette and courtesy, basic decorum and decency, pandemic protocols, and stylist technique and method. They could also use a course on how a capitalistic market works. I will never use Cost Cutters again, and I strongly urge everyone to learn from my mistake and take your business elsewhere.Cost Cutters - where decency and style go to die

We got our hair curled for a gender reveal event, my curls lasted for a little bit but my mothers didnt last 2 hours. She also got a hair got which was a good.

Holly listened and understood exactly what I wanted. I wanted a deep conditioning treatment, haircut, and an up do. We spent 90 minutes together and it was a nice, pleasant experience.

They do pretty go at their jobs, just you may have a hair cut in mind that you want, but when cutting your hair they may think you may look better with it shorter then what you said. And they cut then the deed is done you cant put it back on, then your sick so you go home and you have to wait for your hair to grow out again and never let them turn the chair so you can not see whats going on again my mistake never again well that happen.

I got a great haircut at Cost cutters. Ann does the Best job, highly recommend. Takes her time, checks her work afterwards to make sure no missed hairs. If you find a hair dresser your happy with than stick with her and make sure you give her a tip because thier a rare find😊 youll find her at store by Target strip in Janesville WI.

My son is four and they kick him out cause he asked for a brush And is scared to get his hair cut the didnt even attempt to do anythingor help calm him down another employee said we dont have time for this and told us to leave.

Decent environment but big problem is that I have told them how I want my haircut to be but they did the complete opposite, for example I ask for a fade and I wanted my main part of my hair to get trimmed no more than 2” but instead they trimmed as if they were using a size 7 clipper, very disappointed

Kinda a crapshoot depending on who you get. I have had great haircuts there and some very bad one’s. Around $20 for men after a $4 tip.

I like the way my Mom is treated and taken care of (elderly, with Dementia) at the Walmart location, and they always do a nice job on her haircuts. The staff always asks what Id like done with my hair, listens, and does work hard to try and give the customer what they want. Walk-ins or appointments, people are all treated with kind greetings and you are acknowledged if staff is with another customer, and assisted right after. The floor is cleaned of hair frequently.

This is a good place for men to get a hair cut. On Tuesdays, they have haircuts for $11. If there is a wait, it is very short. All the stylists are very good at giving you the cut you want.

The only place my family goes for hair! Nae Nae does amazing with my hair color! She also got my young son over his fear of haircuts. She was always so patient through all the crying. We love Nae Nae! A few times when Nae Nae wasnt available we saw Kristina, she has also done an awesome job with my kids.

Ive been meaning to write this for awhile. I went here in April and I do not usually like to be so candid but I was disappointed in the care I received. The lady who cut my hair the entire time  spoke to her other co worker while cutting my hair about her marriage and was going into many intimate details of her life , using fowl language very openly. She didnt pay attention to me much and never asked questions pertaining how I wanted my haircut/highlights. She cut my hair in about 2 minutes and quickly finished , didnt even ask if I liked it. When I asked NICELY if she could fix it up more she responded in a very rude tone and motioned me away so she could get another quick cut in before her shift was done. Overall dissapointed with my experience.

Not a place to go if youre an adult, definitely only know how to do kid cuts.

Customer service very questionable. Every one very serious, not welcoming environment. Very sad because they are doing a great job. But again, I felt like a little intimidated for the way that everyone is being treated.

Rosa does an awesome job on my hair! She cuts, highlights, and colors my hair. I love it. She is very nice and professional.

The woman who cut my hair spent 10 mins talking me out of what I wanted, even saying the one style was ugly. I explained how my hair was the longest its ever been and I really didnt want more than 3 inches cut off. Ended up with about 6 or 7 inches cut off, didnt get anything I asked for and I had to stand for most of the hair cut. I will never go back!!

I had Martha color and cut my hair and l was very, very pleased at her work.

I wouldnt have gave 1star that was the lowest! The girl that cut my hair didnt know what she was doing and gave me an uneven cut and the side pieces were cut to nims and not even. I asked for the manager and told her my issue and her response was did you just get your hair cut? Lets get someone else to fix it and guess what it wasnt fixed. Now I walk around in hot weather and CAN NOT pull my hair back. NEVER WILL COME BACK!

I usually go to cost cutters because the prices are great. I dont do anything crazy with my hair so its pretty basic color wise . I usually have a pretty good experience getting my hair dyed. The only thing that annoyed me is I left with my shirt stained from the dye . I dont like worrying about my clothes getting ruined , even if Im not wearing something fancy . I feel like the low prices dont make up for a ruined shirt I guess . Other than that , I think this place is a nice salon for the family .
