I just moved to NH from the Northwest. There, I belonged to one of several nice gyms in the city.So, when I arrived in NH, I was expecting to be able to find an equally nice, affordable gym. I was VERY wrong.As I approached the front doors of Planet Fitness, I could already smell it. Reminded me of a Junior high locker room. When I open the door...it was bad.The equipment was ok at best, and you could only use the massage chair for 10 minutes at a time.Because there was not a lot to choose from, gym-wise, I decided to give it a try.Not only do you have to give them your CC information, but, you bank account information as well.The young man was trying to be helpful...but, the female was extremely dismissive and rude.The sad part was...there were a lot of people using the facility...only because they have no real choices here.I guess no gym anymore.

I’ve been going on and off here for a long time between other gyms. The other day was the last straw and I had to write a review. I watched the blonde guy with long hair that works there (don’t know his name) literally take a dump and then walk out without washing his hands. He’s the one that “cleans” that place. If you go here between the hours of 5pm-9pm goodluck finding paper towels at any of the cleaning stations because the staff here legit just cracks jokes behind the counter. I’ve gone many entire workouts before and these guys/girls don’t even move from behind the counter Never mind clean

My home gym is awesome! The staff is always super friendly. Space is always clean and welcoming. The crowd meter helps to know when to go. Definitely recommend if your looking for a new gym with a relaxed atmosphere.

Great Franchise and this Facility is new inside but. WATER PRESSURE IN SHOWERS SUCK, SMALL LOCKEROOM, AND NO CHANGING ROOM ETC. Weight room and Tanning was Great. Just lockerooms stink and water throughout weak.

You have to send a certified letter after you move to cancel your membership, yet somehow it’s ok to sign up with a single button click? Extremely unprofessional Bully tactic.

Clean! With the current situation with Covid-19, it was nice to see gym users as well as staff wipe down equipment adequately. I worked with Liz, the personal trainer. Liz is nothing short of a goddess and will design you a fantastic workout. Plenty of available machines.

Theyve got what you need if youre looking to get in, get sweaty and get out! Wide range of equipment choices for your everyday person looking to be active. Id definitely pay more and go someplace bigger, with more a specialized and larger range of machines, if youre a competitive athlete training for an event. However, you can definitely get a great workout and get those gains with what Planet Fitness has to offer. Ive always found the employees to be extremely friendly and helpful, and all facilities are always exceptionally clean.

I absolutely love this planet fitness. The staff is kind and the place is always clean and no gym stink at all.

Applied for a job here twice never heard back after the first interview and applying again. Had all the qualifications wish I could rate better but not very professional.

Plus many cardio machines of all different kinds. Never a waiting line or time limit. Clean showers. Cant praise it enough

This is an EXCELLENT, very clean gym facility with great (recently installed) new equipment for everyone to use. You never have a problem getting the machine you want and the gym is very professionally managed. Friendly staff.

Awful customer service, dirty equipment, and if the assistant manager doesnt like you, hell falsify information to make it so you cant go there. They say judgment free, yet there staff is the first to cast judgements! Super disappointed with how I was treated and how the manager handled the situation. Waste of money! Go to FIT FOCUS they offer more, there cleaner, there staff is understanding, and respectful plus they offer child care and its only $10 more!

I love Planet Fitness... I go there pretty much every day. Weather its to exercise or to tan or to relax in the massage bed and chairs. Its a great place and friendly people.

The tanning bed I used needed to cleaned under the glass.. Either it should be vacuum or a can of air, and I pay for a membership

I recently went to Planet Fitness to see if I like the culture and atmosphere, as this is crucial in selecting a fitness facility where you will want to spend time. I spoke with three of the staff about exploring the facility, including management, as 99.99% of fitness facilities offer a 1-3 day free trial. I know this because I am a sports and exercise consultant. I relocated here from various parts of the US, and my primary responsibility Is assisting fitness facilities, including Planet Fitness in CA who does offer a free trial, to make improvements for the clients, staff, and to increase profits overall, because let’s face it, a gym is still a business. I also informed staff about what I do, but I was told that there are no such offers at this gym and the only option is to pay a $20 fee for the day. Although I am not overly concerned about the fee personally, I am aware of the areas financial status, which many people cannot afford this and are forced to either pay this fee or sign up for a membership without being able to assess the environment. This tells me that they are not confident in their facility, they care more about money than clients, and do not need more members. I immediately went to Fit Focus and gained a 3 day free membership. I will be signing up for Fit Focus instead and I encourage you to as well.

Nice equipment. Staff is great. Its cheap so its a good second gym membership I dont mind having. The gym itself it pretty decent but not best place for anyone serious about getting fit. Tough to use equipment due to so many people talking, leaning, and just sitting on it. Watch out for pizza Mondays you will not be able to workout.

Maybe some digital service to track work outs and get stats from a application maybe it could track you current past and future targets and respond with feed back surrgestions and a place to chat with a professional justvan idea for your management teams to consider

By far the worst gym I’ve ever been to. All the equipment is nice and the black card area is great but the staff are useless. Ive gotten many dirty looks from them and on multiple occasions, I’ve had to leave before my workout was anywhere near done because of creepy people who are always there, not working out. I just left the gym in the beginning of my workout now because some guy was sitting in a chair turned towards the gym just staring not doing anything literally facing me. I cannot workout with some stranger sitting faced towards me watching me. I went to the counter to tell two boys who work there what was happening and they told me there isn’t anything they can do and he was fine. A third boy came over and between the 3 of them, they had absolutely no answer for me or any advice nor would they say anything to him. I asked if I should just go home and they pretty much told me yes. The only reason I still go is they CHARGE you to end your black card membership. So I’ve even sticking it out but god is this PF awful. I hope the staff have to read these.

Very clean and fairly busy. My choice in a gym to workout in mainly bc they have so many of each machinery and the price to join isnt expensive. Theres always a delivery of $10 or less... All the way to $1 month. Where can you go wrong with that deal?!?

I was nervous about going here because its so busy, but they mean it when they say no judgement zone, nobody pays attention to u, they are focused on themselves n their goals. Its bright, clean, new equipment, everyone is nice, many TVs to watch or listen to your music...it truely is the no judgement zone, Im very happy that I signed up, oh and its open 24 hours!!

WAY TOO SMALL. PF needs to double the size of this gym, at the very least. This gym has the worst rush hour Ive seen at any PF as its the only one within 10 miles. If the space cannot be expanded anymore, then a new PF should be opened nearby. Busy hours get to a point where its almost not worth going. There are only 2 squat racks!?

I’ve been a member of the Belmont Planet Fitness for well over a year now, hands down the worst gym I’ve ever been in. Leadership/management nonexistent. Got so bad I called the Hampton Headquarters, my complaints fell on deaf ears.Here are my observations from various times of the day during the past year:I’m running on the treadmill, female employee dumps entire 5-10 gallons of concentrated floor cleaner onto rubber mats in front of me. Instead of immediately mopping up the cleaner she spreads it all around, soon fumes foul gym air, people (self included) start coughing, and my day ends early.While Planet Fitness advertises there are no time limits, the treadmills are in fact limited to 60 minutes due to a preset program… or are they… earlier this Spring I found a machine that had “Marathon Mode”. I soon discovered the machine would run past 60 minutes for those who wanted longer runs. I brought this observation/question to the three girls at front desk. Explaining what Marathon Mode was I was immediately rebuked. “No they don’t!” I responded they did and again was immediately rebuked and then was told I was wrong. The individual who then became belligerent and rude was in fact the manager... Interesting and disturbing… Three things struck me, one, the patron knew more about the operations of the equipment than the manager did. Two, the manager lost her temper and cool on a patron. Three, she lost her temper and cool in front of her subordinates. Result… The manager/leader instantly lost all credibility with a patron and her subordinates. One girl was curious enough to go with me to see what I was talking about… It wasn’t the manager…Speaking of the manager/leader… Attitude reflects leadership… When you see your manager standing around all day doing very little, texting, surfing the net, etc, chances are good you’ll emulate those actions. Seldom if ever during the hour or so I’m running on the treadmill will the girls stray from behind the counter, safe for one or two.The Trainer hands down has the best job! He stands at the Cybex machines chatting with male patrons or flirting with a female patron and does-not-move! In fact, one day he didn’t move an inch (literally not one inch) during my 80-minute (Marathon Mode) treadmill run. In fact, there could be a medical emergency (oh wait…) and he’d be 100% oblivious to it. Best job in the world, paid to socialize, the Julie McCoy of Planet Fitness.How oblivious are the employees? So into doing things other than their job, I’ve walked in nearly half a dozen times, right past the counter, without having my tag scanned leaving me wondering how many other patrons or people off the street who may be doing the same…?No one ever walks around to make sure patrons are cleaning/wiping down the equipment (nearly 50% never do, signs posted everywhere), they either huddle behind the desk socializing and texting or are glued to the Cybex machine.It’s my understanding each Planet Fitness is independently owned. Either this owner is as oblivious as the employees or they don’t care.

I have been to 30+ planet fitnesses and this was the worst so far. Missing some equipment so thats a small let down, but mostly its because the staff I delt with suck. Super rude and basicly just wanted to talk to each other.

Great staff clean gym

Treadmills and cardio machines are set up so the using them stare at everyone thats working out. They even had the opportunity to re-configure the place when they expanded, but didnt. They apparently dont understand that overweight people have social anxiety issues. I am one of those people. Why cant the cardio be in the new room, facing the wall? Get rid of that idiotic stage that the treadmills are on now and put the 30-minute workout there, and finish the wall and have the cardio in its own room, where the 30-minute workout is now.
