Beautiful clinic, incredibly caring and supportive staff…we’ve been with BOGA for several months now, through a loss and now into our second trimester and can’t imagine working through it all with any other medical staff. Looking forward to six more healthy months and so grateful for the excellent care received thus far.

|TLDR: They misplaced IUD; denied check up care| The first nurse I saw here for routine GYN care was incredible - but she left. The (only) other nurse who i then saw mis-placed my IUD (not far enough in). No follow up visit was scheduled with insertion so I had to wait a full month for follow up visit, in which my pain concerns were dismissed and my request for ultrasound denied, the nurse also gave conflicting advice on medication details than what she had told me at insertion appt. 6 months later I found my original ARNP at peacehealth cordata who referred me for an ultrasound and confirmed the IUD had been misplaced. 6 months of intense cramping pain everyday; increased risk of pregnancy; risk of perforation; and damaged mental health.

This company does not serve pregnant women who need to travel/relocate for work mid-pregnancy. They flat out told me unless I pay $1,300 and commit to using them for the entire duration of my pregnancy that they couldn’t take me on as a patient. Not even for a consultation or ultrasound just to make sure things are going smoothly with my pregnancy. What a joke!

I’ve heard great things about one of their doctors and was excited to schedule an appointment. When I called, the receptionist was unhelpful and had zero compassion for the emotionally painful reason I needed to be seen. She also told me the doctor I wanted to see was scheduled 7 months out, so I gave up.

Every single person you will deal with here is super nice! It is super clean. They have their own ultrasound machine so you dont have to go to mt baker imaging! They even have their own blood testing done in house. They have an online portal of all your visits with notes and vitals that you can login to and look anytime. I would highly recommend coming here!!

The staff are atrocious and disrespectful. They repeatedly refused to listen to my concerns about my IUD placement (Ive had the issue before) and acted as if I knew nothing about my own body. They were reluctant to schedule me an appointment within a timely manner as they deemed the situation non urgent despite being told by a provider in this very clinic to come in ASAP if I noticed anything unusual. I tried speaking with the office manager about the staffs behavior and all she could say was Im sorry you feel that way. I am looking for a new ob/gyn.

Every single doctor I have encountered were great! Especially Dr. Mora and Mallory. They have been phenomenal through every single one of my pregnancies. Mora was an absolute all star my last pregnancy, always checking on me (even if I wasnt his patient that day) and explaining every single detail and 100% thorough and making me feel as comfortable as possible. I cannot say enough good things about this place ♡

I’ve called a few times lately and was met with the rudest front desk reception. I’m not sure why they have so much hostility. I’m so glad my referral went through somewhere else and I don’t have to go here. A few years ago I had a good experience there with a surgery here. However, while I was still under, the Dr showed pictures from my surgery to family and others that were not authorized under HIPPA privacy laws. Very violating. Because of this, and the current disgruntled staff, I do not recommend this office.

I have only heard good things about this place and how trusting they are.. We wanted the best and were turned away. They dont except all pregnant women in need of their services. Very disappointed and will not be recommending their facility or services to anybody that is looking for a safe place during their pregnancy.I have private insurance and was not treated with the kind of respect or dignity that you would expect from a private practice. So now we look at home birth because of covid-19. Im in my 2nd trimester and just got the confidence to be okay with going to a facility where My family could feel safe after the run around of being on hold for most of the time. The womans voice changed and I was told they will not be excepting new patients and SHE DIRECTED ME TO PEACEHEALTH as a better alternative. To me that speaks volumes or says they are going out ok f business. Either way BIG mistake and I wouldnt bother even Calling this place.

My wife and I were really happy and impressed with all the service we had at the Bellingham OB/GYN. They were really respectful of our beliefs, our desires, our pregnancy plan and delivery. They took the time to treat us as actual human beings with dignity and respect, instead of like a number on a page. (This is so often not the case with health care providers.) From the desk staff to the nurses to the doctors we felt cared about and respected. They are also very competent at what they do. From beginning to end of the process we felt we were in good hands.

Dr Mora delivered my identical twin girls in July 2015. He was very professional and caring. Although I had a very high risk pregnancy that resulted in me needing to be seen by boga and University of WA maternal fetal specialists. He always went the extra mile to make me feel like my pregnancy was in good hands. I would see him again in future pregnancy.

This is a great practice! Dr. Mallory is absolutely fantastic.... he is very knowledgeable, wise, gentle, respectful, and considerate. He is also great at listening to ones concerns and at providing very thorough and clear explanations. I think one could not possibly ask for a better or a nicer doctor! And everybody at the office is really kind and professional too. They always get back to you in a timely manner and are always willing to help and answer any questions. The office itself always looks very clean and tidy, and it has a very warm and pleasant environment. I would definitely recommend this practice to anyone looking for top-quality OB/GYN services.

Best care ever!!! Had high risk twin pregnancy and each and every doctor was incredible! The receptionist was super sweet and caring! Love this office!!! (And FYI OB Drs van only take on a certain number of pregnant patients for EDD month. This is not uncommon for this type of practice to turn away new patients. They provide great care and take on as much as they can)

I love this practice. I have gone to them for both of my pregnancies. Mora delivered my first and Russo my second. Mora and Mallory are both quite the characters! An upright, super proper person may find them a bit much but anyone who can take a joke would enjoy them.My only complaint would be during my second pregnancy several of my appointments ran extremely late(45min+) which can be a bit vexing, especially if you have to bring your kid(s).

I never write reviews but felt the need to. I just called to be seen there and was told that I would HAVE to see their male doctors, even if I choose a female for my main provider during my pregnancy. I have a very good reason why I am so uncomfortable with that, I have 3 kids and EVERY doctors office I’ve been to has completely respected the fact I needed my physical exams done by females. I feel like, as a doctors office that caters mostly to women’s needs, they shouldn’t take that option from ANYBODY who PAYS for services. I really wanted Bellingham OBGYN to be my office for my final pregnancy and had that choice taken from me because I refuse to have any physical exam done by a male. I have never had this problem before, so disappointed.

Ive been a patient here for two years, and ive tried very hard to be understanding but Ive had nothing buy negative experiences. Every appointment Ive had has to be rescheduled due to doctor schedule changes. Wait times with a 6 month in tow old is usually 20 minutes in reception and 30+ minutes sitting in the room waiting for your doctor. Last time I waited a total of 50 minutes, only to be told the doctor would be another 30-40 minutes. I was only able to speak to a nurse for maybe 2 minutes and they still charge you for a full appointment.I would definitely look into a different provider if you have the option.

Im a college student and was excited to find this place considering the nearest Kaiser is in Everett . I scheduled an appointment and unfortunately my job called me in the same day of my appointment. They charge $50 to cancel/reschedule appointments which is kind of frustrating cause if I could afford a $50 cancellation fee I would have just told my job no 🙄 Im going to make less than that at my shift today. Id understand if it was a no show , but I have to go to my job.. its at the top of my priority list. Ill be seeing them in a month as I scheduled a month out. Fingers crossed for an enjoyable experience. Just make sure you make it to your appointment!

I dont usually take the time to write up reviews for places, but Bellingham ob/gyn is well worth my time. I have loved everything about this place since I first walked in the door. Everyone who works here is friendly, welcoming, and really takes care of you. All of the doctors are super professional and they still take the time to get to know you and respect all of your decisions. They are all very knowledgeable as well which is comforting. And I personally love how different they all are! I had Dr. Russo deliver my son and from start to finish, she was SO incredible. I couldnt have asked for anyone better to help me through my labor and delivery. Ive never had a bad experience since I started coming here and hands down, I would recommend Bellingham ob/gyn to anyone who asked me.

The whole staff - administrative, technicians, nurses, and Doctors, have been beyond amazing every time we visit. I am thankful to have such high quality care for myself and my growing family in Bellingham! We almost never wait for our appointment and if we do its always met with an empathetic so sorry comment. I feel supported in my plans for delivering VBAC but also very well educated in the risks. I know that no matter what decision my husband and I make as we near the time of delivery, we have the backing of a knowledgeable and supportive medical team at Bellingham OB/GYN.

Its a little difficult to review this place since you see so many different providers in the clinic with your pregnancy. So ill try to break it down.In general, this office is pretty good. I was a bit nervous about having male docs (not because of pelvic exams but mainly due to weird experiences in the past with stand offish, rude and uncompassionate male gynecologists). It would be nice to have the same doc through the whole pregnancy to labor but as a nurse, i TOTALLY get why thats not feasible with call schedules.Dr. Mora (male) was the only doc i hadnt met through my pregnancy and he happened to be on call when my water broke. We both laughed about it, and i cannot tell you HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS GUY. He was amazing. He was compassionate when i needed it, and stern when i needed it. He explained himself well and joked to lighten the mood. It was exactly what i needed for a LONG ASS labor.I saw all of the other docs through my pregnancy and they were all great. The only one I avoid is Dr. Justiss, she was pretty stand offish and kind of rude when i asked questions (I saw her twice and that was enough for me to know to avoid her) and didnt really answer questions well but i didnt want to even bother asking clarifying questions. I thought maybe i was over reacting (hello hormones) but even my husband said he would prefer if we saw someone else. But its usually fine to just ask for a different provider since there are so many others. In summary, I totally recommend, just know it can have its faults since you have so many practitioners to work with. I believe theyre the best option in Bellingham unless you choose the midwife route!Hope this review helps!

Hard to get an appt, pregnant or not. Show up to appt & told to reschedule. Getting a nurse on the phone takes 5-6 calls. 6 days to get lab results from a rude nurse on the phone, after i got the bill it. First pregnancy & they offered to book me w/ an OB half way into my second trimester, i could see a nurse till then! Told me to go to ER w/ concerns in the meantime. No thanks! Dr Kaepernick is great but its really not worth the hassle. Seeing 5 different OBs & then being delivered by whoever is available is not good prenatal care.
