My experience here has been nothing but wonderful. The whole staff is so nice and accommodating. Ive had two surgeries here. Dr. Stackhouse is amazing and I could not have asked for better care and a better surgeon. Even after your surgery they follow up to see how you are and how you are doing and I was really impressed by that. I would definitely recommend to anyone. We are very blessed to have such wonderful professionals in our community.

The office staff was great. I was sorely disappointed with the Doctor I saw (Stackhouse). I think he literally spent 60-90 seconds in the room with me. Made me feel like I was wasting his time, he seemed annoyed, and didnt listen well. Im still experience problems but sadly have no desire to feel the way I felt leaving there again. Very disappointing!

I have been a patient of Dr Andrew Verneuil for many years, and he is hands down one of the best doctors in town. He is thorough. His bedside manner is excellent, has a very calm demeanor. I really wish Dr. Hecht was a primary care doctor, Its really hard to find a sweet caring doctor and he is one of the few. He took the time to ask his wife(who is a dermatologist) about something he doesnt even normally treat, and he treated it better then the doctor I struggle with, with every visit. I havent seen him in over a year now but I think about him alot and how I wish I could see him regularly for basic care. We need more doctors like him, Ive never found myself missing a doctor before.

From the front desk staff, to the nurses and doctors, you would be hard pressed to find a more kind and professional team. I had my tonsils removed only two days ago, and they did a fantastic job of making me comfortable and showing me that they care about my well being. The anesthesiologist was extremely kind and and put me at ease when my nerves were at their worst. Going under is never fun, and neither is surgery but if its time to go under the knife these wonderful people will take care of you. Thank you Bellingham ear nose and throat.

Avoid it if you can. Swedish Hospital in Seattle has a fine audiology/ENT dept. This place is so frustrating--I am a lifelong sufferer of hearing issues, and they treated me to heavy helping of condescension to go with a simple ear cleaning. The audiologist watched from the doorway as Dr Olson delivered his sermon. She obviously knew this guy is bad news. I would rather learn sign language and live out my days as deaf than put up with this kind of thing.

Dr. Olson has been awesome. I had a surgery to fix a ruptured eardrum with an ONT in Oregon in the middle of this year, and some time after the surgery I experienced subtle but distinct hearing loss of the upper frequencies. I thought there might be some wax buildup and went to Dr. Olson to see if my ear needed cleaning or if if might be something else. There was no wax buildup, and Dr. Olson thought there might be some liquid behind the ear, so ordered a CT scan to get a definitive diagnosis. One thing we discussed at the visit was whether I might be a candidate for Eustachian Tube Balloon Dialation, as it seemed I had Eustachian Tube Dysfunction and thats why my eardrum had ruptured in the first place. After getting the results of the CT scan, Dr. Olson called me, after hours, and discussed the results thoroughly. There was no liquid buildup behind the eardrum, and he recommended against getting the procedure as my condition wasnt bad enough to really warrant it. That and there are potential complications that arent necessary for me to risk. Throughout my visits with Dr. Olson, Ive found him to be very professional, an extremely clear communicator, and I appreciate and respect that he didnt encourage me to have an unnecessary procedure, even though I actually was pushing for it. He has taken plenty of time to communicate with me to be sure I understand thoroughly what the situation is, and I think hes an awesome doctor. Much thanks, Doc!

I asked on multiple occasions how much it was going to be for my surgery to make sure that it was something I could financially afford. They told me the same number at least twice. I am still getting bills from a surgery that happened over 6 months ago. They were off by over $2,000. This turned into a surgery that I could barely afford into something that I cant afford. To top it off the anesthesiologist didnt even tell me he was injecting me with anything until after it was done. I remember him spinning the table and I got really light-headed and dizzy. Then he was like, oh did you feel that and then I was out. The last time I had surgery there the anesthesiologist told me that he was in me giving me something to put me to sleep before he did it. The first time I had surgery there it went very well, this time I was very upset. After this last visit I wouldnt recommend them I would go somewhere else.

Went in to get my nose looked at about a month after it got hit (breathing problems). Was with the doctor for about 10 minutes total. Wrote me a prescription for Flonase and sent me on my way. Total cost of bill to insurance: $788. With deductible I pay $521.64. Nasal endoscopy (sticks a tube in nose and looks up nasal cavity) took 5 minutes and seemed basic, like getting you’re eyes checked. Doctor was very friendly and seemed knowledgeable. This is so others know the cost of going to see a specialist and getting nothing but a ‘wait it out’ and a $32 prescription (paid separately). First time using insurance and going to the doctor for years. Next time I’ll just live with it.

Service was OK but these guys sneak attack me with a 700 dollar bill after my visit. Never told me it would cost that much! It was a 30 minute visit and essentially we just talked about a past surgery, thats it. I tried calling to speak with the doctor about this but he refused to answer. Wrote him a letter instead cause collections claimed it would work better. It did not and he did not respond. Doctor Knops sucks and unjustifiably bills! Google wont post my name so Ill put it here. Saw Dr. Vernuel in January, 2016. I was having severe issues with ear being plugged and throbbing. He talked to me for a few minutes and sent me for a hearing test. After that he talked about the results and I told him I have RA. He says, you do. If he would have bothered to read the papers that were filled out he would have known. He immediately blamed the plugged ear on the RA. He said I needed to get a CT, have surgery and getting hearing aids. My hearing is just fine. When I told him I didnt want to do that, he was upset and disappointed. I left there nothing better than before. I thought he was suppose to be a specialist. My feeling was that he just wanted to make money. The billing people are no better. I have a copay for my insurance and that is the only responsibility. They kept sendin me a bill for extra charges as they refused to bill the insurance company properly. In April I went to my family doctor and he said I had fluid in the ears, told me what to do and gave me a good allergy medicine prescription. I would not recommend Bellingham Ear, Nose & Throat to anyone as they are not the specialists that they say the are.

Showed up to my first appointment to find that the doctor wasn’t even in the office that day (my appointment was cancelled and they failed to notify me of the cancellation)Rescheduled appointment: I show up and the doctor is “running short on time” and can’t complete procedure today.... why offer a 4:00 appointment if you don’t have time to help patients?!? Now I have to wait until the doctor is back from vacation to have my procedure taken care of ...... VERY upset with the service and care from this particular office.

My Urgent Referral from my primary got Denied??? Wow, I never even made it in the office! They are accepting new patients for for about a month out-Maybe that’s why???... So they said, if it’s a referral from my primary with an urgency fax then they can try to get me in. My doctor sent the fax last Friday and Jana said she didn’t receive it. Then she said that I have an appointment on March 5th so why does it matter. I said, I am calling to follow up on my Doctors Fax because I havent heard from you guys. She said, “well if we did receive a fax then a nurse would’ve called you.” “I said can talk to a nurse now?” She said legally she can’t talk to you without that fax.So I followed up with my doc & she made sure they got the fax, so then I called ENT office and they said they got the fax they will have the nurse call me after they review the fax. My Doctor calls me, Says that the fax and referral was denied. So she has to take matters into her own hands and put me on an broad spectrum oral anabiotic. This is really upsetting Considering that I am pregnant with a 100-101.6 fever. Jana and the nurse basically felt that my doctor should deal with this in-house instead of referring me out. You would think they wouldn’t have denied my doctors request. I’m not sure what’s going on in that office, it just feels like people dont want to work or give business to the ENT Doctors. I have the money to pay & PPO health ins. Maybe everyone is full & on vacation, who knows...The situation felt very uncomfortable & they wanted me to wait until March 5th to get in...Now I have to take an oral antibiotic while pregnant from my primary which she wanted to prevent. Im not sure what the ENT could’ve provided, but I was hoping to prevent this being pregnant. I’m not one to do such a review, I’m a very sweet optistic person. Something has to be handled. I also understand a nurse isn’t legally able to talk to me on the phone without a fax. But they couldn’t have Had the nurse tell me themselves. Maybe if they communicated better and tell me this isn’t a regular ENT doctors office, maybe they handle special surgery cases only? I have had issues with this ear before & now I’m worried. I’ll just have to take my concerns else where. I canceled my March 5th appointment because I am able to get into another office sooner. It’s a further drive but a sooner appointment. Hopefully these antibiotics work as well and they can find the inner ear issue with my right ear. My last doc says tubes...so we will see...

Coming from Canada, I have to wait over a month to get a referral to see an ear, nose and throat specialist and then I have to wait another 2 months to SEE said specialist (if Im lucky). Instead, I can just call Bellingham Ear, Nose and Throat and get in within a week or two.The quick (for me) service is fabulous because for some reason, one of my relatives had some sort of tympanic demon and because of that strange ingrafting of ossicular evil in my family history, I get ear wax that is so dense and sticky that light cannot escape my ear canal. When my ears get plugged up, I often need to usually resort to dark wizards and various occult remedies...like essential oils.Still, my days of seeking the help of gypsies in covered wagons are over since the folks at Bellingham Ear, Nose and Throat have succeeded with their medicine. They needed heavy acid and some precision laser work, but they cleared my ear canals of all the dark juju and I can hear again! The office staff is great and the doctors are wonderfully polite and very competent. Definitely recommended. There might be something to this new-fangled medicine after all.
