I just read two one star reviews. Ive been a patient sine Dr. Sheinin took over for Dr. Woods several years ago and I would suggest part of the reason why Ive been doing so well living with Crohns Disease for 25+ years is because she does listen, asks my opinion and uses that information to determine a next step for my care. I dont care much if she makes me feel good when Im there...shes not there to entertain me, shes there to make sure were both prepared for whatever this nasty little disease comes up with. 5 stars because shes always made me feel confident about today and tomorrow!

I consulted Dr. Sheinin for a second opinion. She couldnt access my images. Instead of rescheduling me, she asked me for my opinion and said that based on what I told her, I should probably have the surgery. (Her opinion wasnt based on any data.) I was hugely disappointed and sought advise elsewhere. She billed my insurance for the consultation, the lions share of which I was responsible for. When I protested the charge, I was told the charges would stand because I used her time.
