Really hard to find this place from the outside, and the mall has very few doors to enter that actually let you access the mall, but after a 10 minute walk trying to find it, I was able to. You have to go in through the food court and then just walk straight for a while to find it. But anyway the blond lady who showed me where the Lashes I was looking for was pretty nice and I had a really quick and pleasant experience here.

Excellent service and so much make up! Someone helped me choose a foundation and concealer for my skin and she was super helpful and nice!

I was honestly kind of hoping to run into an aggressive salesperson when I came in to help me find what I was looking for faster, since I had no clue how or where to look. Ended up walking out only half-satisfied with what I got and wished I could go back and return some things for something else.

Great sales but unfortunately, it is better to purchase somewhere else. The staff tries but I don’t think there is very much training offered to them. When traveling, l will visit other Ulta locations, but I think I’ve had enough with this one. Just don’t feel it is very professional to blame customers for the stores mistakes.

Alexis has ruined a girls hair. She completely forgot which side of her hair she bleached and the hair completely broke off. I wouldn’t recommend anyone coming here and I would never recommend her as a stylist.

My hair was severely dry and over processed From years of dyeing, bleaching, and heating my hair.. I recently went to one of the top rated salons in Bellingham to restore my hair and bring it back to a healthy soft texture where they ended up damaging my hair even further.. I then decided to never go back to salons again and try to fix it myself .. where I did try hard I decided it was time to try and go back to a salon. I had an appointment with Kailani she was amazing always listened to my wants and needs continuing to make sure I was okay with the outcome she also taught me how to style and take care of my hair. She also did some conditioning treatments that perfectly fit my hair .. I left leaving so satisfied and happy my hair is softer than it’s been in years and the style fits me so well! Thank you so much and amazing job!! #hair

Im in love. I just had my first ULTA experience and I love it. Being Canadian we, sadly dont have ULTA but I was in the US and finally went in. They have just about everything a beauty junkie could want and more. With a points program that could take on Sephora to boot. I found the shelves to be a bit more cluttered than sephora but they have WAY more independent or smaller brands. I love choiceband trying out items which are not so mainstream so ULTA is an A+ for me. The staff I found tended to offer help just a little to much for my liking but to be fair there were not many people in the store at the time. If you have never been to an ULTA and love makeup or skincare thisbis a must. I also received a goodie bag with my purchase (pictured), everyone likes free! 😏

Rachel was so nice! Even though theyre not doing testing on your skin right now, she was able to find my right shade in Tarte Shape Tape. Overall very clean and friendly store. Had a great experience at this store.

Well, today was the best at Ulta in Bellingham. Every time I go in, the staff (definitely not teenagers) are super friendly, helpful and fun. They always help me find exactly what I need. Since I react to most scent and perfume, I can return any hair product that is too scented, so that is very helpful. Today a staff led me to the Zoya Nail Polish! Thanks Andrew! That was legit. Zoya Nail Polish heaven. Thanks Ulta, youre the best!

So, I’m a Canadian and accumulated $250 in ulta points that I was planning to spend in 2020. Because of the border shut down, I can’t go and spend them. I can’t purchase online because you have to have an American credit card to pay for the tax. They are going to expire in January 2021. I have begged ulta for a compassionate extension due to the border situation, but no go. They just re-explain their policy which means I will lose my points. I think they are being mean to their Canadian customers. I’m not going to make special trips from Vancouver anymore even when the border does open. This is so insensitive of them.

The first thing that I am greeted by as I walked in the store is an overwhelming whiff of overpowering purfumes and can choke a dead man. I dont think when they design these types of stores that they take into account the people that have allergies as well as other health issues such as asthma or COPD and being bombarded with all the different scents the could trigger an attack. People dont think about problems like that, what would they do if I had an attack or fainted from all the strong perfumes in the store right by the door when you walk in??

I dont care for the person that helped me there. Very snooty. Some people like snooty. I just dont.

I love Ulta but this particular location needs revamping. Products are either dusty on displays or out of stock. And the vibe of the atmosphere sucks all enthusiasm I have out of makeup shopping. And I love makeup shopping to great pleasures. Certain staff members are friendly and attentive sometimes towards those they chose to be.

Cool place! Long lines on the weekends. However, almost everything you need for a decent price. Amazing sales. Although, some off brand makeup that you can buy at a MUCH cheaper place (Walmart or Target) was definitely over price!

I got my hair done with Alexis, she was awesome and did a great job. Chloe helped me after my appointment with skincare products and gave me great advice. This store truly cares about customer service and making their customers feel welcomed.

I go in and buy from this store a lot and im always greeted by the nicest people. They go above and beyond and never forgot to fill me in on promos or cool events.They have the absolute dream team in there & Im beyond happy to continue to shop with them✨I also got a facial treatment here before the lockdown. The room was great and relaxing and my skins felt amazing in the following weeks the associate was nice and fun to talk to❤️ she also gave me some dermalogica testers to take home and now Im forever hooked on the brand!Cant wait to get back in there once health measures allow

This is the first time I feel comfortable inside the store. One of the sales girl was super nice and sweet, and her makeup looks great. Im hoping she will be there whenever I shop. Wish Vancouver can have a Ulta too.

I love going to Ultra Beauty in the Bellis Fair Mall staff are super friendly even with my 2 year old son. Theyll answer any makeup questions you have and theyll help you find your perfect shade of foundation. I got a sample to try before buying and I feel in love and bought it. I will definitely be buying more cosmetics, they are expensive to buy. But when you think about it worth every penny and top of the line cosmetics. I noticed a 10 times difference using the fountain then drug stores brands.

People need to know there is a salon inside of Ulta. I love Ulta already because they have coupons but still have all the amazing products I want and need. Not only makeup but skin care, and hair care too! I have been getting my hair done at the salon inside of Ulta for the last year now. They are always so nice and have fantastic skills!! I’ve never been happier with the color and cut of my hair as well as the price! Plus they have a rewards program online so your Money from getting your hair done is working toward a discount!!

The store itself is nice but theres always someone -usually a teenager- practically breathing down your neck over servicing you giving horrible advice and make up tips.

I had my hair highlighted here and it turned out really good. They have a wide selections of everything. Its like a girl paradise.The people that have helped me with makeup arent very knowledgeable with color matching.

We live in a time where men are more concerned with complexion. I am, however it can be difficult to shop anywhere but the main large stores. All the specialty stores mostly market to women, which isnt bad. It just leads to some people not knowing that they might have products for them that might be better suited given their situation. Im not saying put it front, and center. Just make it visible. My experience wasnt bad, I just had no idea they had what I was looking for. A lot of men wont take the time to find out.I spoke with some of the employees about this, and they agreed. I just feel puting it here might help too.

Ulta fan for over 20 years, great variety of products from the most expensive to the cheapest on the market. My only complaint is at the Bellingham store the high end section of the store needs to learn that older clients have more money and should not have to wander around with their fully made-up face, and perfect hair, looking for a particular brand, while a 20 year old sloppily dressed young girl is being walked from product to product that she most likely cant afford.

Definitely the better of the two huge makeup stores in town (excluding MAC because it only sells, well, MAC, obviously). If what you’re looking for isn’t a Sephora exclusive, check Ulta first. They have nicer and smarter staff, really good stock, and much better rewards in my opinion. And they don’t treat you like a thief. Great store!

Ive only been to this location a few times. They have a large selection of products. Ive been able to find what Im looking for. However, when I go to pay for the items there is usually only one cashier, or two at the most. Today there was one. And a haphazard line up of about 12 people. Lots of employees on the floor but for some reason not helping out at cash registers. So for the second time in a row I put the items down and left. There wont be a next time as I will not be returning to this location.

So happy we finally have an Ulta here. Although, some of the workers werent really educated on makeup products.. which I feel they should be if they work at a makeup store. Besides that, great stocking up on products so thats a plus!

I think that ultra beauty is really good. I just think they should say if it is lipstick or face glitter. I personally feel like I was putting toxic stuff on my lips.

Great store, convenient and well staffed. I like the fact that once I find my way into ULTA ( you know parking,correct portion of the mall and all ) its a piece of cake. Im greeted by a very attractive staff member and given personalized info for whatever I need. Great inventory, many product lines to choose from, with experienced technicians available for advice.

Nicest ladies work at this store. They didnt have what I was looking for and still offered to help me find it elsewhere. So nice of them.

Signage could be better around the store.There have been a couple of times I was charged the wrong price on an item or not given the discounts that were advertised on their ads.But overall I love this store and they have a very friendly staff.

Was just in there for upwards of 15 minutes and not one associate approached me or asked if I needed any help. They lost a sale because I couldnt find the color depositing shampoo I was looking for. When I left, they didnt even acknowledge me. Shocker.

Friendly, professional and welcoming employees. There is a gal now that works in the front makeup department that really knows her stuff. She can apply products and can answer all your questions and is great!! Everything you need in one stop! Eyebrow wax by Courtney was the best Ive ever had.

My first visit to a makeup store. Everything I tested and then wanted wasnt in stock so that was a bummer. But they have high end brands to drug store brands so pretty big selection.

I have experienced exceptional visits, every time Ive been to the Bellingham Ulta salon. My stylist Lorena provided me with excellent advice when I asked for recommendations regarding hair color and product. I found the salon staff to be both friendly and professional. I look forward to my next service and I have recommended this salon to all of my friends!

Beware and do not get your hair done by Lexi/Alexis Martinez ! I asked for a balayage I paid $236. She chemically burned off my hair and had no idea what she was doing she took at least two-three hours too even bleach my whole head with foils My hair broke off and wasn’t even balayaged in the end I had too get all my hair cut off too pixie length and I’m already insecure enough about my appearance and have been trying to grow my hair out for three years. None of the management team did anything about it except refund me because they’re all buddy buddy even though multiple people have wrote terrible reviews about her and the person before me while I was getting mine done came back for his hair cut too be fixed since, she messed it up. Do not make the same mistake I made or trust ulta to handle a situation properly.

I had a great experience with an updated makeup look today and cashed in under my budget with Tarte Brand beauty products. The Beauty Consultant/Representative of Tarte is extremely knowledgable and an experienced makeup artist. Extremely helpful in knowing what is best for my skin and skin tone! Ive not had a bad experience in this store yet.

I live in Canada and ordered a hot tools blow out dryer from Ulta online as I could not find any for to purchase in Canada. I placed the order on Nov 22. I recieved a free deep waver with my purchase and the shipping and customs fees were automatically included into my payment. They use borderfree to ship their products out of the country. I recieved a confirmation email right away stating that once my packages shipped I would receive another email but that this could take some time as it had to go through customs first. I recieved my shipping confirmation on the 28th and was then able to track my package. I recieved my package on Dec 4th with my products intact and working . Overall Im happy with my experience. Didnt have any issues. Will use again.

This was the ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE I could have every had at a salon! They took TWO HOURS! to do just a face of makeup and they made my makeup look NOTHING like what I wanted. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE! Not to mention they made me late for my next appointment on prom.

After I came out as nonbinary I went through years of hating my hair. I wanted it short and I wanted it masculine and I tried every well rated hair salon I could find in the area. Eventually I took the easy route and let my hair grow out and had my partner help me cut an undercut into it (after another stylist told me undercuts were too harsh and refused to give me one). It worked for about a year, then my hair started hitting my shoulders and started breaking. I desperately needed a trim but I was scared to go anywhere. Thats when my coworker recommended ultas hair salon. I made an appointment with Lexi and went in cautious. I told her my experience and how I really just needed a trim. I said I didnt want any layers or anything, just a bit off the end and some thinning done. She did an amazing job. I expected judgment for my self done hair dye job or my homemade undercut but she didnt even bat an eye. She was kind to me and respectful of my identity.I then decided to go back less than a week later and asked her to give me a short haircut. I showed her a picture of a mans haircut and the results actually had me nearly in tears (of joy) later that night. I had been showing hair stylists male haircuts and asking for them but for yeaaaars I was getting feminized versions and told how cute I was. Lexi did none of that and ended up giving me a haircut I actually loved for probably the first time in my life.I cant recommend Ultas salon or Lexi enough. Their entire staff is friendly and helpful.

Ulta has so much to choose from! Large selections from so many brands! Every time I come in here I like to stop by and smell the Hempz lotions. Some items here are pretty expensive but of course theyre a bit higher quality than dugstore brands!

It was really good, and the workers were really nice to the costumers. There were some little things like, they didnt have some of the things that I needed but that was alright :)

I had the worst experience with this Brand, I ordered an item online and mistakenly forgot to put a B for my address. This happens to change the postal code and the whole street. As I placed the order I then realized I made that mistake. I then called the costumer service line and asked if I could cancel the order. First the rep could not find the order I placed and then put me on a hold to figure out if he could modify or even cancel the order. Rep then told me he couldnt change the address because it was personal information. He then said he could cancel the order but it was not guaranteed and it was also going to take 3-5 business days. I had no choice and agreed to do so. I then told this information to my friends and they found it silly how you couldnt modify a order you just put in and how it could be personal information when it was YOUR information. I then called a second time and the second rep told me that the first rep did not even put in a cancelation and that I had to call Border Free to cancel my order. I then proceed to call this company and no one picked up my phone call and the answering machine told me to leave a message. I then called a THIRD time to the costumer service line and told them I needed to cancel this order today or they would add a tracking number to the order which would make it diffucult to do anything. I asked for a supervisor right away, she told me that the cancellation team said NO I could not cancel the order, even with no TRACKING number. Then I asked to speak to a manager she told me the same thing and told me to wait for it to get shipped to the WRONG house and they would have to return the order and then once it was returned I would be able to get my refund. This process would take about 3 weeks, and she told me she could do nothing for me. First off, what if the person who lives at the house claimed that order which I PAID for already. Also, there policy is if it is a human error they can not do much about it. I also mentioned it could have been an error in the system or the computer and the manager had nothing to say. I think this is such a horrible policy to have. I paid a lot of money for this product and they expect me to order another item and pay more money. When I dont even have the first product to start with. This shouldnt be so hard to modify an order or cancel one. So anyone who is trying to buy a product online or in store. SAVE YOUR MONEY. This company is a rip off and provide such horrible costumer service.

Super slow checkout feel like you are waiting forever to pay, and everytime I go in the product selection seems like it doesnt get stocked. Also got double charged and the Sales Associates were rude about it and refused to help solve the problem and made me feel like I was lying even with proof from my bank I was double charged, took calling corporate to get my problem resolved. Will not be back to this store!

This location seems to be a mess. They are always out of stock of best-selling items and the staff is not friendly half of the time.

Lead cashier, Jennifer is her name I think, was very rude to me and my family. Kept rolling her eyes and had an overall snotty behavior. Not pleased about the experience with her, but the store is awesome.

I got my makeup done, the lady was very sweet but had no idea what she was doing. I left before it was even done because it was so clear to me that she had no experience doing makeup. I understand that it was the first day but the people hired to do peoples makeup should be trained. She wasnt a makeup artist, she was trained to waxing and facials. Which is great, but not what I was looking for. She also left in the middle of my makeup application to go wax someones eyebrows. It was just overall unprofessional and a giant waste of money and time. Dont get your makeup done here.

So many things wrong here. I love shopping at Ulta, but would rather go to one that’s out of my way. This place is the worst at customer service. Went to return an eyeliner, and they told me they can’t give me anything for it since it’s “value” is $0...? Ok fine, whatever I’ll move on, so I leave the store and the manager follows me out of the store in to the general mall area, and tells me to “give me back the eyeliner you took.” The same eyeliner I had taken to them to return...Basically blamed me of stealing something that I brought in to return to THEM. He could’ve gone about this whole situation way better. Definitely will never go back, who would want to be treated like this..?
