Wonderful salon with exceptional stylists. Valerie has been cutting my hair for a decade and Id recommend her to anyone. I have straight fine hair and Ive never left disappointed with my cut. Also a wonderful colorist too, always keeps healthy hair a top priority. Keep killing it ❤

Ive been in a couple of times to see Valerie, and she is awesome. So sweet and fun to chat with, and does great work. I struggle with saying what Id like in a cut, other than Ive been neglecting this for months, please help. Somehow, Valerie seems to do wonders with that. Will definitely keep coming back!

Walked in here on accident one day, the receptionist took one look at me and said “you don’t have an appointment here, you want the extension place next door” i said nothing to prompt that response... literally walked in, said nothing, and was told there was no way i could be a customer of theirs because i so *obviously* wanted weave. wonder how she got to that conclusion 🙄even though i walked in by accident, this exchange just screams “if you are black and even looking at this place, don’t!” you won’t be welcomed. as soon as you walk in.

I love this shop and Mandy is such a fun and easy person to talk with, it felt like Id been going there for years rather than it really being my first time. Give this Salon some love and please support them. Will 100% recommend this place to everyone I know.

Desirae is absolutely wonderful! I love that tips are included so no worries about percentages or anything, and always a sharp cut! After all the Bellis Fair salons had closed I was looking for another option and Ive found it here!

Got a cut and color from Valerie and loved the entire experience. She was very nice, meshed well with my energy and was very thorough and visibly invested in the outcome of my hair. Cute salon! Good music! Can’t say enough. Loved it.

My family has been going to Shae for years now. My 8 year old trusts only this studio to get his long hair cut off for the first time. He LOVES it, they are good, friendly and knowledgeable. Never had a bad experience. Love this salon.

I love this place! Shae is a great person to accidentally spend 6 hours with. She set me up with great expectations for how it would turn out, and then exceeded those by a lot!I went in to bleach and dye my hair bright blue. My hair started as long as my butt, and a medium brown color.By the time I left, its still long as hell but with more even ends, and I couldnt be happier! Its a week later and with Shaes post-bleaching care instructions it hasnt faded at all. My hair feels perfectly healthy given the circumstances.*This picture definitely doesnt do it justice! Its much more vibrant and healthy looking than a selfie on a smart phone can show.

Kimberly is awesome. I hate getting my haircut, always have. But Kimberly makes it fun and does a great job. When my wife says good haircut that is something, and she always says it since I have been going to Kimberly.

Best. Salon. EVER!!! Im from Vancouver BC and I used to spend upwards of $200+ to get my hair done at the top spas. And then I came to school at Western, so I decided I should get a local stylist...tried Studio Galactica after seeing an ad on a bulletin board, figured what have I got to lose? Man, I got the best hair Ive ever had in my life for a fraction of the price! Daniella is my hairdresser now, I will come to see her for my hair even when I move back home. She introduced me to razor haircuts, which is precisely 1000X better than scissor cuts. Shes awesome with cuts, colors...and eyebrows too! And so friendly! And they all refuse to take tips! Stop reading this and just go already. :o)

I have very curly hair, which makes getting haircuts pretty terrifying but Kim at Studio Galactica handled my tight curls like a champ! She cut it into the perfect shape and was a real delight to chat with while she worked her magic on my hair.To my fellow curly-headed queens: you can trust Kim with your precious locks! She will make you look faaaabulous!

Its hard to find a skilled razor cut stylist. Deirdre is GREAT at it! Not only did she give me the haircut I asked for (quickly and expertly), but actually styled my hair in the direction that it grows.

This was my first haircut in Bellingham and it was totally great. I only got a trim, but I was able to get exactly what I wanted. Desiree was chatty and nice. Overall a good, no-nonsense salon.

I was super nervous about trying a new salon after moving to Bellingham, I saw Desirae and she kicked butt! She also waxed my eyebrows and did an incredible job! Ill be back for further eyebrow-age and hair stuffs very soon!

I went in here once and wont be going again. The place seems old and dirty and I got my hair completely botched. I had long hair and wanted to cut it short (kinda like Kristen Stewart short). The lady who did my hair seemed completely unsure of herself. I showed her pictures of what I wanted and she kept trying to talk me out of it. I left looking like Willy Wonka, the Johnny Depp version. Enough said.
