Amazing results and solutions. Ive never been healthier. I arrived for acupuncture feeling nervous and desperate for relief. Id been struggling for years with pseudoseizures and symptoms that appeared to others as a stroke or heart attach ( uncommon for someone my age). It only took one session and already I was feeling better. My posture has improved, energy levels have increased, and pain has almost gone away entirely.

During memorial weekend 2021 I found myself experiencing Bell’s Palsy for the first time. To see myself in that state I felt so hopeless and ugly. It was awful I say… I started to research everything possible for a quick fix and so I read reviews on acupuncture. So my first response was let me call my insurance and when they told me that I would be covered for several sessions of acupuncture I decided to try it. So really close to my house i found a family owned business named Elisha’s acupuncture and there I met Donley. So I made an appointment with him. Donley consulted with me and explained what I would be experiencing for the first time in detail and with so much not even promising me anything. When I started my first session I was a little nervous but then after experiencing Donley’s gentleness and professionalism. I was convinced I wanted to continue. So after that session I truly could tell the difference in my face and seriously after 9 my sessions my face was fully back to normal. I regained fully sensation of my nerves and my muscles in the face once again. It was a process but I can truly say that acupuncture works. I would have continued with Donley but unfortunately he relocated, if not, I would continue to do acupuncture Thank you Donely for expertise in acupuncture and professionalism. Donley treated me for several months. I have chronic fatigue from an auto-immune condition, insomnia, sinusitis, brain fog & depression. Had a panic attack on a Tuesday; it came on quickly during an argument with an employee who was not following directions.I had to take a break and use medication and eventually stopped shaking and was able to finish my shift, but for the rest of the day, it felt like somebody was standing on my chest.I woke up Wednesday morning upset and tense, with that same feeling of a huge weight on my chest.I felt so unsure if I could face the day that I nearly stayed in bed and called in sick to work, but I got myself out of the house and over to my morning appointment at FLOW Acupuncture and WellnessId originally made the appointment because I do very labor-intensive work and Im trying to keep my back in good condition as long as possible.When I got there and Donley asked how I was doing, I told him Id been having panic attacks for a long time, and explained what had happened the day before.He was really easy to talk to, and asked a lot of simple, easy-to answer questions about how the situation made me feel and I answered honestly.Then he said OK, lets get ya fixed up and had me lay face up in a comfortable position.He put a total of 4 pins into me, all on my left side; on my hand and foot, and behind the knee.The pins dont hurt me when they go in, but there can be a strange sensation of pressure which might cause a short second of minor discomfort while the pin is being put into position.I am not a needle person; getting splinters sucks, having my blood drawn freaks me out, but acupuncture pins have never bothered me.Theyre installed in an instant, and once theyre in, you cant feel themHe took my pulse, asked me to take 3 deep breaths then said,OK, this should take about 20 minutes, just relax and let me know if you need anythingI almost immediately started to feel the tension in my chest dissipate. As I lay there with my eyes closed, I felt a gentle, comforting, swirling sensation which slowly intensified.The spot where it felt like there was a dent in my chest quickly began to feel as if it were rising and the feeling of despair began to dissipate.The dent rose quickly and soon it felt as if it were now going the opposite direction, like a bubble of energy popping out of my chestIt felt as if where once there had been a deep and empty well, waves of energy had filled it up now there was a fountain where the well had been.Instead of despair I suddenly felt relief, and I knew I could face the day.I didnt realize how much stress I really had built up inside me until I suddenly felt better.I knew there were still problems I had to fix at work when I got there but I no longer felt unable to face the situation.I was quickly snapped out of a state of panic and depression that had effected me for years and had come to be a daily struggleThat was 8 weeks ago, and Ive been back every 2 weeks for treatments.Ive cut my anxiety meds in half, and I havent had a panic attack again.I was having them several times a week for years before this.Effects of treatments can be less dramatic now that Im feeling good all the time but at the end of every session I always feel relieved and revitalizedEach experience has been beneficial and specifics of treatments vary to address my needs and how Im feeling.I do a lot of heavy lifting at work and it makes my spine feel smashed and solid.During treatments for my back, I lay there face up, flat and comfy with a few pins in me, and i can feel my spine slowly aligning itself.Swelling in muscles reduces, and It feels like waves of gentle pressure from both sides are gently coaxing by back into its proper alignment.Usually theres an easy, stress relieving pop. The osteoarthritis in my knee has become increasingly worse this past year. My orthopedic surgeon recommended delaying knee replacement surgery as long as possible, so I began physical therapy. Not the first time Id had problems with this knee and used physical therapy successfully. However after the second very acute episode this year that required drastically limiting my walking, I incorporated acupuncture in my treatment. Ive had acupuncture many times in the past from several skilled practitioners - usually for the osteoarthritis. Im active, volunteer, and weight train, but this time the pain was a 10/10! After the first treatment at Flow Acupuncture with Donley Sissom the knee swelling/pain was drastically reduced! In the several weeks Ive had acupuncture Ive continued to improve 1-2/10! I didnt think Id walk again without pain. I had to use a crutch to get around. I was taking six to eight Advil per day, which really wasnt helping to manage the pain much but took the edge off a little. I was angry and depressed. The pain was getting to me. This went on for six weeks before I saw Donley Sissom. He spent some time listening to my symptoms before doing a treatment. I was a little apprehensive of having needles stuck in me but I had heard of the many benefits of acupuncture and I was ready to try it. He performed the first treatment and I noticed a difference that night. He did another treatment the next day and by that night I noticed an incredible difference!  I no longer needed to take anything for the pain. Big deal! Huge deal!!! Two days later I dropped the crutches. Its been 8 weeks since those treatments and Ive been pain free since! I have my life back! Donley was attentive as well as compassionate while he listened to my symptoms. He definitely has a gift of being a healer.
