I have just completed my stay at Hotel and I and proud to say this is the best experience I’ve had in a treatment setting in all the treatments ive been through;which is 4…First I truly made the decision to fully wanted to get clean with every fiber in my body and these guys nurtured that in ways I haven’t thought possible….As with many of us I came in broken,apprehensive and lost..of course I was a bit skeptical because all treatments sell the same thing but Hotel take it so many steps forward…From my day one there Ive never felt so comfortable and cared for in this setting..I was a guarded person and only showed my surface…But they encourage you in the sweet small ways with honest love,deep understanding and genuine concern…I think in Detox I cried for 2-3 days straight and they didn’t just leave me alone to wallow or figure he’ll be alright no they came to check on me as many times as it took,sat and cried with me at times and shared their experiences and just being that ear or shoulder that we all need…they helped me accept myself they helped my chip away barriers that i didn’t want to face..My experience they bent over backwards to make sure I was and stayed on the right path…I wish I could just say 1or2 names and I could name just a couple people who helped me..but every single staff member I encountered every one really goes to bat for you and truly want you to succeed and will do any and all to make sure that the weight we have been carrying can get light…clinical and other members of the team will support you to no ends..This has been my experience and when you chose this establishment to team with you to get well …you definitely making a sound investment

Absolutely an amazing experience!! After a surgery, I had found myself in the throws of a relapse. Knowing it was no way to live I reached out to the staff at Hotel. From admin to detox the staff was kind, considerate, knowledgeable, and efficient. Your comfort and health their #1 concern. Clean accommodations, excellent food, and again the staff especially at the detox facility was nothing short of amazing! I recommend this to anyone struggling with substances. Outside of the work you need to do on your own this is an perfect launch point. 5 of 5 stars!

The staff at Hotel California in Bellevue helped me save myself from going down the dark hole of addiction! I am almost a year sober and I would and do recommend Hotel California to anyone that is in need of getting their life back!

I recently completed my 5 day detox from alcohol with HCBTS Kirkland on Monday 4/12/21. James one of the house staff picked me up at the Bellevue corporate office and drove me to the detox house in Kirkland. I was extremely nervous and anxious but talking with James who was a former addict himself really helped calm my nerves down.Admissions was a breeze and she was extremely friendly and nice..Im so bad at remembering names but shes the very tall blonde with an awesome personality and calming presence.The house, rooms, snacks and meals were good for detox. I believe Rachel was the nurse that checked me in and gave me my first med dose. I had a roommate the first night but then he left so I had my own room the rest of the time I was there.All of the nurses were great and during each dosing they let me decide how many meds I felt that I needed (prescribed by the doc) to be comfortable until my next dosing. This made me feel less anxious and I never felt over or under medicated during my detox. Julie my counselor and I had a more in-depth convo in regards to my drinking and why I thought it got out of hand. We discussed past traumas briefly so she had a better idea of where my drinking may have stemed fromDr. Markus is an excellent addiction provider and is very knowledgeable. He makes you feel at ease and answers any question you may have in regards to your treatment. The other awesome thing was we had an assigned time that we spoke everyday over Zoom. Hes got to be one of the best providers Ive dealt with when it comes to detoxing and alcohol abuse/treatment.Eric was my case manager and during our talks he never made me feel pressured to go right into their outpatient or inpatient program which I really respected. They were very forthcoming on how important continuing treatment is and I still may do their outpatient program over Zoom.Since leaving detox I have to say Ive not had a drink nor have I had any desire to. I feel energy again and I gotta tell ya its hella nice waking up without those damn hangover symptoms.Anyways, as you can tell I highly recommend HCBTS Bellevue/Kirkland if you want a comfortable home, staff and doc when you finally decide to make the hard decision to detox. Do it for youself first then your family and friends but never the other way around. It must be something youre ready to do for YOU!!!

I became very sick with my alcoholism while living in Baja during the pandemic. Luckily, I found HCBTS on line and made arrangements for my after detox time at my brother’s house...I was treated with love and understanding during detox and now how 92 days sober. I have really appreciated their post-care. They’ve called several times to see how I’m doing. I’m loving my sober self.

I put myself into this program while on bail awaiting sentencing for an assault charge. I was 19 years old and going through a lot aside from detox/recovery. Very confidential and private things I said that were said in the privacy of my counselor (nothing should EVER be shared by them unless it is life threatening information) was shared amongst several other staff members and ended up making the rounds. I ended up having 2 total meltdowns and then was discharged without completing the program for safety concerns. Turned out the staff had found a ball of tape amongst my things and deemed it bomb making material. I felt I was unfairly judged due to my pending assault charges and they were looking for a reason to get me out of their care. They also charged nearly 5000$ for a deductible on my insurance. That money was never sent to my insurance and it turned out there was no deductible upon further investigation. Fortunately after several months of stern phone calls my money was refunded.

Hotel California by The Sea Bellevue gave me my life back on multiple occasions. They were always there to provide the help I needed when I wanted it. Ive been using drugs since I was 10 years old and never really saw a way out of that lifestyle. Even though to any normal person, the consequences would have scared them away. Ive been homeless, beaten, shot, stabbed, have lost everything on multiple occasions, incarcerated, overdosed and have even flat lined for 5 minutes. I was a broken individual who caused pain to myself, and to others.Hotel California by The Sea Bellevue took me in without question and provided me with all the resources available to be a successful member of society, and to give me another shot at life. Their clinical team also provided me with ways to deal with emotions in a healthy manner and gave me the coping skills to get through the cravings and triggers that come with active addiction. I was young and stubborn and didnt listen when they told me that if I were to relapse, things would only pick up where they left off and get even worse. I eventually relapsed and went back to active addiction, thinking I could control my drug use. After the consequences that they warned me about occurred, I knew that a crucial mistake had been made and I was back to square one. But as a wise man once said when you hit rock bottom theres nowhere to go but up.Joe, the alumni coordinator at Hotel California by The Sea Bellevue reached out to me about a year after graduating the program to check in on me to see how I was doing, and I told him how things had gotten so much worse. He asked me if I was willing to come back and surrender to the program and try a new way of life, and I agreed. Joe, with the help of the rest of the staff had me back at their Detox facility within 48 hours, giving me another shot at life, without their help I was destined for death or prison. I cannot express how grateful and blessed I feel for the opportunity that Hotel California by The Sea Bellevue has given me. My hope is that anybody whos reading this letter and is on the fence about going into treatment, will listen when I tell them that this program is amazing and will give you the opportunity to have a life that you deserve!!!

The bad reviews are just coming from people who didn’t fully give into this program or don’t understand how Detox really works. Treatment is brutal and very hard to go through. But if you man up and see that what they’re really trying to do is help you, you will get by. Detox isn’t about trying to curb your cravings. They will not give you narcotic drugs in detox unless your withdrawals are putting your life at risk. (Alcohol and benzodiazepines) Anyone who complains that they didn’t ween them off opioids didn’t understand that you don’t need to slowly come off opioids. You can completely stop opioids and your life will not be at risk. Yes it will be very uncomfortable however people coming off alcohol and benzodiazepines NEED to be medicated and will be given very low amounts of narcotic medication and slowly put off the medication.Once you’re out of detox, everything gets so much better. The workers here will do everything they can in their power to make sure your stay here is comfortable for you.If you’re looking for treatment, this is the place for you. I’ve been through treatment four different times in four different facilities. This is the best one I’ve ever been to.Please just give into the program and you will find sobriety.

Hotel California is amazing!!! They saved my life and have such passionate and wonderful staff. Had it not been for Hotel, I would very likely be dead. I can not say how grateful I am and ever fully convey that to people. This place does not just change lives it saves them.

Honestly, this is the worst program etiquette I think I have ever been to. I was forced to pack my bags and leave after they discovered bloody razors in my drawer that I used to hurt myself as they withheld my antidepressant medication. I should have sued, but I didnt. Instead of having them taking me straight to an inpatient clinic, they just made me go home when I still had suicidal ideations. The doctor had authorized me to use Kava tea bags to battle my depression and they told me I couldnt have them, implying they knew more than the doctor, telling me Its not sober. The housemates were extremely loud, its a jail mentality at the clinic and people were really abusive. If you want to actually get better, please dont go here, most of the people I stayed with in sober housing relapsed when they left.

Would give zero if it was a choice. Look at all the reviews over a year old theey werent open a year ago those are staff. Then there are two guide reviews. The only real review is bad. Now on to way the poor rating. My son left in a panic after 16 days because he begged for his naltraxone to curb his cravings and they didnt get it. They managed to put him on lots if other medications just not the one that has worked for him in the past. When he wanted to go back they said they could no longer take his insurance. I asked if they dont take blue cross bluesheild and they said they did just not his policy. What kind of greed is that. They said his didnt pay enough. Now currently he is in another treatment program. He signed a release on feb 6th to have the lab results from this program sent to his new program. To date all I get is sorry and I cant believe that hasnt been done. The bill for the labs was over 24000.00. Dollars with my ins paying over 21000.00 and a balance to us if 1500.00. My son said they didnt even get a full vial of blood when he was there. He is a very hard blood draw. I dint know if they xant send results because they dint have them because no one will tell us. I let them know I will be contacting our ins commissioner and filing a complaint as well as asking bluecross fir an audit. Also if your ins. Isnt a high paying policy dint bother it costs upwards of 26000.00 a month and that didnt include the lad work. They also dont do any scholarships. They are in it to make money. Sad because many people working there are recovering addicts who wouldnt be there if somebody didnt help them. I would try another program unless money is no object then this one is great...
