Very unprofessional. CNAs are rude and don’t need to be working here or with anybody. Big thumbs downπŸ‘ŽπŸ½πŸ‘ŽπŸ½

I was very Unsatisfied with willow creek! My motherwas always left unattended an the staff did a poor job of keeping her clean! My mother was a resident on a ventilator until her passing you had staff that would still be on the clock outside of the building smoking cigarettes then go back in to handle the residence with out washing their hands! The CNA’s do whatever they please ! They left dried up blood and Secretions! All over my mom’s face! Not only that August 25,2020 Willow creek left me standing outside of the Facility for forty-five minutes to an hour in 90 degree weather before they told me my mom coded three times and passed away!

There is good reason this facility has a 1 star Medicare rating. My loved one was sent here because we were told this was her ONLY option, due to her respiratory issues post discharge from Barnes, unless we wanted to send her to Chicago. Give it a chance, they said. Go in open-minded, they said. After her first weekend, I was desperate to have her transferred out of there. There is NO excuse for the lack of staff and patient care in this facility. It is dark, depressing and foul smelling. Patients are routinely forced to lie in their own filth for 4 hours before their call light is answered. They will leave you for dead, especially on the weekends. This is utterly demoralizing and inhumane treatment for a patient who is alert, oriented, and continent, but unable to care for herself. I cant imagine how the care is for patients who are less aware and unable to speak. There are some good employees here, who are fighting a losing battle. The girls in social services are great, and helped me get my family member out. I feel horrible for the patients left behind. If this is the only place in our area with respiratory therapy on staff 24 hours a day, someone needs to step in and bring dramatic change before something horrible happens.

All in all I guess you could say its a very good place! I personally wouldnt take none of my family there, but the person we went to see had had her light on for over a half hour she was supposed to be up at 10 she was banging with a spoon on a table to get some attention to get somebody to come back and take care of her she cant talk , she has a trach , and she could not get anybodys attention to come and help her ! ! ! So all in all it was a miserable day.....

Be careful about this place. My father came here because it was the only option for him (he was on the vent at the time) and has been neglected ever since he got here - he currently has 3 pressure ulcers and a wound in his leg. He even got many cuts on his face after being shaved. No one comes to turn and clean, if you spend a day here with your family member you can see. They only bathe patients twice a week. To make it even worse, I just got harassed and threatened by a CNA who yelled at me and said β€œyou don’t know who you’re talking to, you should be careful”. When I asked his name he said β€œI’m big Eddy”. When I told him He was harassing me he and if he didn’t stop I would call the police, he said β€œgo ahead, my brother is a policeman. Call them.” How can a facility allow this type of people to work here? How can a staff member think it’s acceptable to talk to a family member like this? All kinds of absurd things have happened to my father in this place. My stepmother has been bullyed, harassed, yelled at by many of the staff members. It’s a scary, sad place, where patients are neglected and receive the worst type of care I’ve ever seen in my entire life. For the record, I’m a general surgeon and know very well what neglect and abuse means. I was taught a different type of medicine/care that is practiced here. This place should be shut down. Don’t come here. Don’t bring your loved one here. This is not a safe place for anyone.

They use diapers in bed. Ask for the state survey before putting family here. Call department of public health when you see anything here. A lot of people here cant speak for themselves πŸ’”
