The worst doctor experience I have ever had!! The slow and rude receptionist at the front desk was so rude the antiquated what they process your insurance info is slower that a fax machine. They over book patients and the wait is extremely long. It was so heartbreaking to see a elderly woman leave because she couldnt wait any longer for a simple pharmacy change, she left still in pain. There is so much paperwork to fill out with the same redundant questions on each paper why do I have to keep informing you about my marital status when Im here for abdominal pai ???!!

They do a lots of test and never have the results and I keep calling and because of pandemic that they going to call me and they never did

I was referred by a friend, I was calling to make an appointment and hoping to make this my doctor going forward. I called early morning and did not find reception to be professional on the phone but I decided to disregard that and continue to make an appt. I called back at 12:20pm The reception desk put me on hold for 10 minutes, I hung up and called back, when I called back she had put the phone out and went to lunch early. so I come to google to read reviews and I see that they are not good with patient privacy, listening to patient concerns, follow up from the doctor and reception. This confirms the hesitation I felt with this location just from my inital call. I will now take this as a sign and give my business to a more professional office. often times we disregard our gut feelings but this time I cannot.

Dr. Spira was concise with his assessment, informed me of possible treatment plans but asked about my preferred plan of action; promoting my autonomy.The wait was a bit long but not any different from my former GI doc.The medical assistant was organized which helped streamline registration.Most importantly I valued courteousness and professionalism from the front door to exam room. People can still be quick while being courteous. I’ve been to other places where they rattle off info while looking at paper work. From door to the office.

Dr saw my son in jc med center for colitis , real big ego talked about credentials education and properly diagnosed my son . The thing education doesn’t teach are manners and an in efficient office that doesn’t return calls when a prescription needs to be refilled . My son waited 11 days for a call back and then Spira said here’s my cell if you need me don’t feel bad about calling me . Another prescription wasn’t filled my son started bleeding called Spira and the doctors reaction was I have no time for this call another doctor. So as the reviews show a solid 3 . It’s probably very accurate . Manners and an efficient staff should be a given when rendering proper care. I don’t care how educated you are a person without manners and a telephone bedside manner is not Someone I would recommend. I hope the Dr and his staff see this review . A 26 yr old depending on a doctor who tells a patient he has no time for him deserves this truthful negative review . Smart doesn’t equal good . You don’t have to mistreat people who are depending on you . Robert A

Always wait hours in the waiting room. Office staff does not return calls promptly. Have left several messages for Dr. Spira, Sr. to return my call but he never does. My mother is the patient and ended up in the ER recently - no one from the office bothered to come next door to the hospital or call in to check on her. She was discharged and sent home - its now two days later and STILL Dr. Spira has not been in touch with my mother - and has not returned my calls. Disgraceful. We called and were told Dr. Spira could see her 2 weeks from now. Its unreal and shocking. Dr. Spira and his staff are being fired today. Bye Bye.

I have been seeing Dr. Spira and his staff for almost 10+ years. Never had a problem. Oh yes, there was a small problem some years ago:I did not have a co-payment, his staff saw to it, that I saw the doctor. I have been back many times since, they havent so much even mention it,Great people, great location, great doctors.

I’ve been trying to get a hold of the office for weeks now. No one ever called me back about my blood work or to schedule a biopsy. I’m progressively feeling worse and I can’t seem to get anything moving with the situation.

Dr does not have much time to talk . Dr Assistance is horrible . They are not bother about anythings . Even you call and follow up ... no result . I would not suggest. Dr even not checked properly 😡. He is very popular but personal experience is not good .

Never in my life have I had an experience like I did with this father/son duo. Both of them are rude and dismiss you when you talk to them. They walk away from you and talk to you in front of their staff and other patients about your medical conditions in the front desk area. You cant ask any questions, because they are too busy talking to everyone else and interrupting you. You have no dedicated time as a patient. I dont even think the younger doctor looked at my conditions before speaking to me, so filling out paperwork beforehand is a waste of time. I told my new doctor about the advice I received from this doctor and he was shocked as it would be severely against my benefit to do what he said and could land me in the hospital. I couldnt even believe that I had to finish my appointment with him in the hallway, because he wanted to move on to another patient after seeing me for 5 minutes. I should have known since he did it to patients before me as well. Im not expecting to take up all of his time, but this was just the craziest experience with a doctor Ive ever had.

He overbooks appointments so wait time was almost two hours. He was in a rush when he was in to talk to you. Probably because he had too many other patients to see because he overbooked for the same time as your appointment. He did not care what you had to say or felt like. He just dismisses you while running out of the room. And, if he wants you to go for a test well you better not be sick because his office staff is horrible it takes them days to even send it over to the insurance company. So if your a sick person I highly do not recommend seeing this doctor.

THE WORST!!! I AM BEEN TRYING TO GET RESULTS ON A TEST THEY DONE AND ALL I GET I WILL CALL YOU BACK...WHEN YOU MAKE APPT YOU HAVE TO WAIT SO LONG IN WAITING ROOM TO BE SEEN!

Personable Doctor & Staff. Very helpful and pleasant people. He performed my endoscopy procedure recently and I didnt come out with any pains or displeasure.

Negative experience from the start. Just scheduling an appointment was an ordeal. Staff is either incompetent or just dont care.

HE OVER BOOKS THE APPOINTMENTS AND IS ALWAYS BUSY. DOESNT CARE ABOUT PATIENTS. WOULD RATHER THROW MY MONEY IN DUSTBIN.
