Office is pristine call mom staff is extremely friendly and very knowledgeable, willing to help you with any questions you may have. Dr. Jacob is a phenomenal dentist and has made my dental procedures relaxed and easy. I would highly recommend him!!

I ran into this office by accident because I wanted to personally get information on a procedure needed. Lord in behold I met Vinnie the awesome receptionist that greeted me. I knew I hit a homer in from the presence of the atmosphere. I am at a family business that we are now calling home. The hygienist Dianne rocks, the best cleaning I can ever remember having. COMPLETELY UNBELIEVABLE. Let me first start off by saying my whole family USE to come to this dentist office for a couple of years now. Called in to schedule an appointment for myself and for my daughter (who would have been a new patient) They told me they couldn’t schedule my appointment because of a balance that was due. GREAT. Told her I’d call her back next week with a card but for now let’s schedule my daughter. She told me NO because I am her mother and I have a balance. Let me just inform you my daughter has different insurance than myself and also has a different last name. I told her I didn’t understand because she’d have an account under her dads name because it’s his insurance. The office manager who is Rosemary continued to cut me off with attitude and repeated her self NO NO NO, I will not schedule the appointment until I pay off my balance. Which my insurance is with MY parents. I tried to tell her that she is not under my account she is under her fathers. Explained to her that my balance has nothing to do with her account. I work at a dentist office myself and I know the protocols for situations like this. I told her I’d have her dad call her back and schedule. She said NO I WILL NOT SCHEDULE THE APPOINTMENT. THE DAD CAN CALL BUT I WILL NOT SCHEDULE IT. Very VERY RUDE. I called back and was very upset and explained everything about her dad having a different insurance and her name being different and told her I am very upset and I will take this to upper management & that’s when she spoke nicely and told me she’d schedule the appointment for my daughter. I WILL NEVER COME HERE & neither will my family. The way rosemary handled the situation was very unprofessional and wrong!

I have been seeing Dr. Alan Jacob for a few years now, and have always had an exceptional experience. His demeanor, and how he treats his patients is quality care at its highest level. As a person with an incredible fear of the dentist chair; I could not imagine having any other Dr. treat me. Dr. Alan truly cares about his work, and his patients and takes pride in all that he does. I especially like the fact that he takes time to explain his method, and what his recommendations are. I was recommended there by family friends years ago, and I have since passed on the word to others looking for quality dental care. The staff is friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. They have always worked with me to fit me in for a schedule or any other issues I may have. Dr. Jerrold Jacob is very friendly, and always takes time out to say hello and talk to everyone in the office, regardless if you are his patient or not. I can also say Diane has given me the best cleanings I have ever received. Overall, top notch service, customer care and follow-up, and best Dr. around. I still may not like the dentist chair, but this is the only place I will come back to!

I have been going Dr. Jacobs for over 20 years now. I even moved to south Jersey and continue to take the ride up north because I wouldnt trust my teeth to anyone else. He has made the dental experience relaxing for me. His staff is considerate and friendly. I had to have a lot of work done and it has all come out flawlessly.

So Glad I finally found a dentist who cares and takes the time to explain and review all my dental needs with me. The staff is great to Mary helped me with getting all of my insurance benefits explained to me so I would understand what my cost would be and what they would pay. The scheduling coordinator Veni was super nice and did her best to work with my schedule. They just added an Oral Surgeon and are open on Saturdays! I have been examined by both father and son and have found both visits very pleasant. Also I have never had my teeth cleaned the way Diane cleaned my teeth it was just overall a great experience from start to finish!

I am usually nervous when I go to the dentist but with Dr. Alan Jacob I felt at ease. I needed a root canal done and Dr. Jacob was excellent. I felt no pain and was comfortable the whole time. To me when you find a dentist that cares about your teeth and helping you its a good combination, I need to get many things fixed on my teeth and Dr, Jacob is the right dentist to do the job. Everyone has their own experiences but mine was great. The staff was also very nice as well. I definitely recommend Dr. Jacob to help you with your teeth . It felt like a family atmosphere to me and that is what I value.

Words cannot express how grateful I am to everyone at Family Dental. I have had trouble getting my daughters cavities filled for 2 years now. She was extremely scared, where I would walk out of the dentists office disappointed that they couldnt get filled.I am extremely thrilled that today my 6 year old daughter has finally had her cavities filled. I dont know what he did, or how he did it, but Dr. Alan is an angel!! He made my daughter feel so comfortable, and she didnt give him a hard time to fill in her cavities.My husband took her to her visit today, so I was sure the fillings didnt happen. To my surprise I come home and she runs to me so excited about her visit today, and about how wonderful Dr. Alan was. Ive got a huge dental phobia, but A Family Dental Group -- and Dr. Alan in particular -- made it easy. I let my teeth go for years, so when I finally went this past summer, I knew I was in for it. I needed multiple root canals, fillings and even cosmetic work. Fortunately, Dr. Alan has a calm, gentle demeanor and instantly set me at ease. I wont go anywhere else in the future and Ill even be sure my entire family comes here for dental care.

Just want to thank Dr. Allen and his office staff . He has been my dentist for some time now and has just made a big difference in my life . I have had a dentures of some sort for a very long time and just recently had posts implants and a clip in lower denture made in his office . What a difference in this as compared to the glue in denture I have had for years . I am now able to eat and not feel like everything is loose and falling out of my mouth . It has been so long sine I have had my own teeth I can not believe how nice they work and feel . Should have done this along time ago. Thank you Sincerely John

Before I got cosmetics done on my teeth I was scared and embarrassed to smile. At first it did not bother me then I got older started talking to women and it bothered me a lot, but Dr. Jacob did an amazing job on my teeth. I am so happy about the results. I can smile and laugh without being worried about showing my teeth.

Appointment was morning, was there until CLOSE!!! The work I was having done did NOT take that long. Husband had a tooth fixed and less then 24 hours later it broke.. bad! Office botched our bill, didnt bill insurance for items we were covered 100% for, then over charged us on things where our responsibility was less... Mary claims it was the office staff before she came in but even AFTER she screwed up the bill and was STILL over charging us. I had to do HER job and they are still trying to charge us 800 MORE then what we owe. Time for my own attorney to go after THEM for their short comings and MY TIME doing their job! Place is a joke. Claims they will save you money, and they over charge and dont submit claims to your insurance. Oh, lets not forget telling my husband that his visit required $100 out of pocket when the whole visit was 100% covered!!!!!! While Jr and certain staff was super nice, it doesnt compensate for the frustration of being billed WRONG and harassed when we do NOT owe what you claim.

I cant even begin to say how at ease I am at Family Dental Group. Dr. Alan Jacob definitely is the guy you want to see if your afraid of going to the dentist. Even if you dont fear the dentist Dr. Jacob has the best bedside manner and is no doubt the most approachable dentist ive ever had. He went over my Xrays in detail for about 1/2 hour and laid out the best plan for me with careful consideration to my financial situation and my work schedule. As a technologist I can clearly see he is using the latest and greatest. I can honestly say I no longer sit in the waiting room panic stricken. He actually makes the visit enjoyable. I never thought I would ever say that about any dentist.I found my dentist for life. Thanks Dr Jacob your the best! Dean La Prete
