I injured myself recently where I knew I needed to get medical care. I resisted to visit the ER given the poor reviews so I went to the Urgent Care instead. My pain improved but developed other symptoms (i.e. breathing difficulties, dizziness, etc.) The Urgent Care doctor I spoke with suggested that I visit the ER immediately, which I did.Having visited the ER and got first hand experience of how they operate, I can attest that all the poor reviews are sound and fully justified.This ER is a classic example of poor hospital management as well as failure in the leadership team. The end-to-end process - started from the triage, waiting time, testing procedures, the professionalism of attending doctor and nurses - are no different than the hospital in developing countries.. Ive never expected to witness the hospital mismanagement to this degree in the U.S. until I visited this ER.To the hospital management team, if you truly care about helping your community, I encourage that you start evaluating your practices and seek feedback from other hospitals on how to improve. A modern design and layout are only a small fraction of the overall hospital management. The resources talents and professionalism contribute a much bigger factor to the success of your hospital, which would have a direct impact to our community.Sincerely,Elly

Doctor has no idea on what hes doing. Its been 3 days and my condition has gotten 5 times worse. Spent 6 hours there for no reason. My nurse tho was super helpful. Wish the doctor cared. Havent ate in days, can barely swallow. I went for help and got nothing

I thought they were very nice. Until they closed the door and started making fun of me. I made the trip from Wapak to Bellefontaine because the Urgent Care is great but ended up being transferred to the ER. I won’t go back. I understand thinking something is funny, but don’t make fun of someone right outside their door when they’re clearly very self conscious about a situation. I should be able to have trust in you. I don’t there. I said I felt better just so I could leave.

Good to know that when I show up with a fever over 101 and potentially having breathing issues due to pneumonia in my lungs, that Mary rutan is ok with you sitting in the lobby for over an hour. Lets hope I make it thru the night so I can go get medical treatment becuase if I sit here at mary rutan Im likely to pass out or due before they get to me. Thanks.

Will never go to Mary Rutan E.R. the Dr.s dont listen and seen like they dont care. Tell them that sibling is allergic to penicillin and what do they do give his little brother penicillin anyway and now dealing with an alerigic reaction to it. No need for a 1 year old to be put through that. Very disgusted!
