Love the hygienist- professional, friendly and knowledgeable. However, the practice itself is my issue. They are focused on profit above the true medical needs of their patients. They recommend unnecessary procedures and sometimes won’t even see a patient if the patient won’t agree to them. Also, they insist that patients pay for certain things before they even bill the insurance company, which is absolutely ludicrous. These dental chains are awful. Will be changing my dentist.

Everyone is so nice, very professional and straightforward.

Firstly, the receptionist is extremely rude. And she lies a lot. What I had made an appointment for, they never addressed. They just wanted more xrays, of course. They poked around my teeth and stuck that implement of torture into a bunch of teeth and just told me that I need work done. Yes, and what about what Im here for. Crickets.And then . . . because the dentist said I definitely needed a cleaning before they would do any of this work, they wanted to book me in spring 2022. Thats a year away! Why did I even waste my time coming here?Useless! I cant believe they have any patients at all with the way they treat people.

I have had nothing but problems with this place for years, I finally found a new dental office that does their job. A few years back I had to have a cavity taken care of and it was “fixed” terribly. I had to go back in to get it re-done which I was hesitant about (but was promised I would never have to deal with that dentist again since he was terminated)...years later it still feels like something is wrong in that area. Recently went back and was told they were sending a prescription over to my pharmacy and I have called back 3 times now asking why this prescription has not been sent over and was told I would get a call back..never got a call back. After calling again I was told to call the dentist myself in her Holyoke location because I might have better luck reaching her then her own co-worker would. Still have yet to see this prescription and it’s been over a week. Never got an apology for any confusion or no call back...didn’t even get a “bye” on the phone. Was only hung up on. The hygienists have always been kind and I have never had an issue with them, but this business definitely need help in other areas.

I had an impacted tooth taken out and it was the worst experience of my life I was screaming my head off and saying stop!!! Just to have a dirty look at me! Never had a bad experience in my life til I went here. Never again will I go back.

Baystate saved the day when my previous dentist dropped the ball a few years back, forever grateful to Heidi & the team for making sure Myself & my family were in good hands.

Ive had very good experiences at Baystate Dental of Belchertown. Casey, the dental hygienist, did a wonderful job cleaning my teeth, Dr. Velez is very nice and made sure that my crown fit perfectly, and Heidi, the office manager is terrific. Ive also had my teeth cleaned by the gentleman hygienist, and he is great, as well

Everyone working in the Belchertown office is wonderful and friendly. Dr. Sobti does an amazing job and also always makes me feel comfortable. I highly recommend. Jon is also an excellent hygienist!

Really great visit. Nice to be a patient of a big system, having a male Hygienist and Spanish Dentist just made it that much more pleasurable. No absent mindedly digging a fingernail into the gum or resting a waiting tool on another soft part while working/focusing elsewhere - I felt well cared for.

This is what i posted on my FB page pretty much sums up my experience with two of Belchertowns DEntists ..Baystate Dental Belchertown two thumbs DOWNi went in to have a tooth pulled friday 4pm. as i was seated in the dental chair, a young(20s) assistant handed me a paper to sign. It was a release form that had a page full of statements on how every thing was explained to me and all my questions were answered. including that i acknowledged that i may end up with permanent nerve damage in my face. one statement was..extraction alternatives were explained to me and i understand.....nope wasnt.actually nothing on the page was even though each statement said i had been..when i asked about the alternative extractions, she couldnt answer me and left the room. later she comes in and tells me you can have dentures...(you couldnt tell me that?) ok so the dentist comes in with a heavy middle east/indian accent talking through a mask.(great) The assistant now becomes a translator.....(great) so i get the 6-7 shots of novacaine in the back of my jaw, stings like hell...he leaves...the bad tooth is in the front of my mouth...and im touching it feeling it while my molars have left the universe.. assistant now explains its a root tree and will transfer to the front....hmmm nope.....dentist now shoots more in the back...then into my lip near the front...sticks my tongue with the needle i jump...he says thats the back nerves,,,,,(right, im thinking) he leaves, comes back and now that he injected the front , im ready.....he pulls it, mumbles off something to which the assistant tells me.....a script of anti biotics will be called in to CVS right there in front of their building..any problems to call...in which i ask is there an emergency number for after hours he says yes.....home now for3 hrs....novacaine area hurts like hell... cant open my mouth...we call CVS they have not received any calls from the dentist....a call to the dentist (now after hours and closed)...guess what?....no emergency number to call on their answering machine! between these guys and the dentist in front of Stop n Shop i really dont think they know what they are doing... ( the Stop n Shop dentist did two crowns for my front two teeth for over 3 grand!...First one fell out in a year 2nd one a yr later..and on top of that he charged me for a root canal he never did as one tooth already had one done yrs ago..(ps he told me it grew back....right) So....Belchertown Dentists?.....no good

Staff is very friendly and attentive. Was impressed with the updated equipment they have and the Dentist was very thorough and explained everything to me.I have a follow up appointment and look forward to it.

Had a cleaning at Baystate in Belchertown. All went very good. They are taking all precautions for COVID safety. Was happy.

My husband took a day off of work so we could both get our teeth cleaned. Needless to say they didnt clean our teeth. They only checked our gums and said we both needed deep cleanings. During my appt. They did exray and confirmed I was there for a routine cleaning. Again only checked my gums and said I needed a deep clean. When I asked about my routine cleaning she refused and said not until the deep cleaning is done! What a waste of time!! Not to mention my husband lost a days pay to go for our visits!

Always wanting more x-rays. The toothbrush kit contains only a cheap toothbrush and a sample toothpaste, plus a no name brand floss pack. They used to include at least a new Proxy brush and spare brushes.Now, theyre rudely demanding $8.00 PPE fee, but my dental insurance (MetLife) has a policy that the dentists office submit the PPE fee via a special code. Yet, when approached by this, I was told The insurance doesnt cover that. I finally found the documentation on-line and Ill be sure to bring it to their attention and demand a refund. The practice has gotten a little cold attitude wise since the (basically) complete change in the doctors and front office staff. Not as friendly or as fun as it used to be. My dental tech never changed his PPE after I was done, and hes given ONE PPE approved mask for the entire day (I asked), so he need to use a secondary mask.This place, last year, would have gotten at last 4 stars, but now theyre lucky I even gave 2..

Today I called Baystate Dental of Belchertown due to a dental emergency occurring with my 2 front teeth. I was pleased that they were able to squeeze me in at 11:30am. I moved into a room promptly and was seen by the hygienist and doctor. Then an immediate plan was put in place that meant reviewing insurance coverage and proceeding with a fix on the spot. They were SO nice, quick and did an AMAZING job. Being they are my front teeth...I wanted them to be perfect and thank god they are. Thank you Baystate Dental!

Baystate dental of Belchertown has also stopped taking my daughter due to missing 2 appointments. Which is confusing because Ive only made one appointment for her, and Ill admit we did have to cancel the day of, only because though when I called to verify the address of the location, I found out this appointment was made at their Springfield office. Apparently their orthodontics is done only at that office. I was never informed of this when I made the initial appointment. Otherwise I would have told them it wasnt possible for us to make it as I was having car troubles at the time and couldnt drive that far. As far as this second appointment, Im not sure where that came from. Ive only made one appointment. The lady on the phone was rude about it too when I tried to figure it out. Baystate dental seems to be a hit or a miss. Ive heard great things, and Ive heard terrible things. Considering Ive barely dealt with them and have never stepped into an office yet and have had these experiences, Id say they have a few things to work on.

Ive had my ups and downs with Baystate Dental, as has my husband. Todays visit was fine, except the dentist wasnt there. The hygienist told me that if he saw anything I could come back. Easier said than done. I have a full time job located about 20-25 minutes away from the practice.

As a new resident, I was happy to discover that Baystate takes Delta Dental insurance. I conveniently filled out all forms online and was warmly greeted on my first visit. Staff were very professional, gentle and friendly. State-of-the-art technology was used for X-rays and photos of my teeth. The dentist thoroughly examined my teeth and answered all my questions in a timely way. Fortunately, I was able to have my teeth cleaned on my first visit. I have confidence that I have chosen well in trusting Baystate Dental in Belchertown as my partners in dental health. Thank you for a pleasant experience!

Feeling very confident about Baystate Dental and ALL the staff! They met me at the door, took my temp, offered a chair set aside from others. Then I went to have my deep cleaning started, which I was a nervous wreck about, but before you know it, it was done! My hygienist was wonderful, patient and calmed my fears! They are so professional all around!Ill be going back for ALL my dental needs!

The staff was very warm and inviting from the moment we walked through the door. Jill our hygienist does a amazing job and is so patience. Sarah the assistant is understanding and pleasant, very knowledgeable. Dr Park does an amazing job with kids and has a heart of gold. Wonderful caring staff, Top notch service. Loved Dr. Park last year but also love Dr. Kahn. Great personality but more importantly highly skilled and talented. I had an infected tooth and he had to pull two which he did in a skilled manner and his concern for my health was obvious and greatly appreciated. Great practice!

Recently had a very sensitive fractured molar, they were so careful and attentive to make sure I was numb and comfortable, the crown is well placed and I have no sensitivity at all anymore! They are personable and professional, they know their stuff!! Dr Kahn rocks!!! Thank you!

Ive had a bad experience with this office, theyre horrible at returning phone calls and when I did go there to get fillings done they fell out that very night. They also wanted to pull a tooth and fit me for a partial all-in-one appointment. Which Ive heard from other dentists that is not good to to swole that is not good to to swelling after a tooth is pulled, meaning the personal would not fit the right way. They have now kicked me out after missing only two appointments due to emergency appointments for my daughter which one would think a office would take that into consideration.

The entire office staff is very courteous and professional. They are also quick and efficient as well as very knowledgeable. I know I am going to be well taken care of on every visit and all my questions will be answered. I recommend them highly.

Wish I could give this place a lower rating. Scheduled a new patient appointment two months in advance and got a call the day before my appointment that they had schedule changes and cancelled my appointment. They also noted that they were booked out for months and could not reschedule my appointment for anything sooner. Not happy.

I always hated going to the dentist! But I honestly dont mind going to Baystate Dental of Belchertown at all! All the staff is so kind, Patient and caring! I just had a cleaning done yesterday and he was AWESOME! I told him one of my teeth was very sensitive and he cared! He was careful on that side... My teeth feel amazing! I had my first Rout Canal ever and the doctor was quick, thirrow and DIDNT HURT ME! I was shocked! This is a great place, with great people!

I was not that happy when I visited the office this time. First of all, the hygienist had cold and was coughing while she is cleaning my teeth. I didnt expect you let a hygienist working since you know that they have to be close to your face while they are working .Secondly, the front desk staff was not welcoming at all, so please try to train your staff how to greet and thank your customers.

I wasnt that happy with my appointment - usually, Im in and out in a half hour from a cleaning. This time, my appointment was at 8 and I wasnt able to leave the office until 8:50 a.m. - the hygienist was great, but he had to keep helping another hygienist in a different exam room. Then, the woman at the front desk told me to wait in the waiting room because I had to renew my membership. When I explained that I had to leave and would do it online or over the phone, she insisted I sign the paperwork right then and pay for m y membership.Not the usual great experience at Baystate Dental!!!

The whole staff is great especially Shannon at the reception desk. Ive seen a few dentists there, but I was lucky enough to get Dr. Park today. All the dentists are friendly, but Dr. Park is extremely nice and really listened me and what my problems were.

Rude receptionist, my teeth have been in more pain after seeing them than they were before.

My Experience with my first visit was less then a delight. The staff wasn’t helpful in assisting in obtaining records from prior dentist. I showed up for my first appt and they didn’t have the records and didn’t go out of their way to let me know that. My appt was less then pleasurable and they didn’t even give me a new toothbrush to take away with me. SO I want feeling good about this place that I wanted to call it my new dentist so 6 months later I decided to try another facility (not a Baystate facility). I reached out to get my records sent to the new dentist and 2 weeks went by and they took no action. I had to call and check up on it. Long story short... I arrive for my new appt and they sent someone else’s records to my new dentist! HIPPA/PHI violation!!! Then my nw dentist calls hem to get the right records sent and they were extremely rude to the new office.I didn’t disclose all the details of my transactions with Baystate dental here but I can tell you, I don’t recommend this office AT ALL and will never go there more refer someone to them.

I had no problem with the scraping of my gums. There was a problem with the water pick that is put in your mouth through the procedure. I kept swallowing, and coughing. Too much water is being piped into your mouth all at once. The stream is too much. Not looking forward to next week for the right side of my mouth to be done. However, taking that aside as a negative, the positive is I did not feel any pain.

This was the fastest appointment I have ever had. No wait. I was shocked. And they were all very nice and super professional

We were getting ready to leave on vacation when my daughters jaw was starting to get achy. It was like that for a couple days. I was worried it was an infection brewing or an abscess. Baystate Dental was able to squeeze us in so they could find out what was going on before we left. They didnt want her to be misreble while we were away either. Well... it was not an abscess, it was her wisdom teeth. They reassured us all was ok and we were able to make her consultation appointment before we left. Had we waited we would have added a few more weeks on to the waiting process. Thank you Baystate Dental for getting us in!!

Going to Baystate Dental in Belchertown is the best dental experience in Massachusetts Ive ever had. I would not trust bringing my children anywhere else. The receptionists as well as the hygienists and dentists are both perfessional and personable. They provide many dental services even Botox and many payment options and accept most insurances.

It was such a pleasure to be seen by Dr Kapoor. As many people, I have not had good experiences. My tooth broke on Friday & had no choice. Many places were closed or would not take me. Even though they were booked & I was not a patient, they signed me up & took me in on Saturday. Dr Kapoor was so friendly, up front & honest. I am now a patient & will be going back. Thank you to the receptionist (sorry, I didnt get her name) for getting me in & not just ignoring my needs.

No happy with out cleanings. I know from past experiences how long a cleaning takes three cleaning plus xrays and we were in amd out in less then an hour now thats quick service. I have never had my teeth cleaned so quickly in my life. Not a happy camper.

Awful place. I have never had a consistent doctor because they always end up leaving. Their work is mediocre. If I am going to be investing a lot of money into my oral health then I want it to be done right. I am going to be switching dentists.

My daughter was brought in by a family member for a cleaning and exam only. The hygienist put fluoride on her teeth without even asking if that is OK, or if we want this service. My daughter CAN NOT have fluoride! How unprofessional. This dental office seems to push unnecessary services to increase their production numbers. They have no regard to their patients health or concerns.

Very rough with children and adults, my boyfriend waited 6 months for a cleaning and the office was closed when he showed up for his appointment. Not very good customer service. Also was told they dont have doctors there so we couldnt get fillings unless we go to springfield. But other reviews say they saw a doctor the same day they went in. Seems like they dont want to do their jobs there.

I had my appointment time wrong and arrived almost two hours early. I was fully prepared to wait but they were able to see me within ten minutes. The staff is courteous and welcoming. The facility is modern and comfortable.I hadnt been to the dentist in years. Frankly I was scared that my teeth where a mess. I knew that my rear molar was damaged beyond repair. I was relieved when Dr. Ebihara informed me that aside from the damaged molar I was in good shape.She did not try and push needless work. As was my experience with previous dentists.Unfortunately the molar did have to be removed. I could not believe how quick and painless the procedure was.I find it funny how excited I am for my next visit to the dentist. If you want to have the best dental experience ever then make an appointment with Dr. Kumi Ebihara at Baystate Dental.Best Regards,Nate P

I was made to feel very comfortable and was explained everything to my satisfaction.

Charged me $95 just for looking at my teeth for one minute and did nothing else. I do not have a nickname, but the front desk gave me a nickname sin-yu on their patient form. Who put sin in their names?! In addition, I was tricked to take another x-ray for $100+, which I already have in my dental records taken only 2 months ago. Racist, rude and deceitful on purpose.

Horrible - I left there without even having my tooth pulled - the dentist barely said two words to me - I was already really nervous as Id never had a tooth pulled - he never warned me my nose and eye lid would go numb and told him I changed my mind and he simply said ok you can go and he took his antibiotic prescription and left the room - nice what a rotten experience and I still have a bad tooth :(
